Hey Marketo world -    Question for you guys: I'm attempting to pull people that MQLed before an order. I have MQL Date and I have Order Date, however it's a relative relationship. I would like MQL Date to be BEFORE Order Date. Been racking my head to come up with a way to do this and am currently at a loss. Wanted to reach out to the greater collective here to see if anyone else has run into this before or has any ideas on ways to pull this type of information.    Thanks in advance all!

Hi Team,   I am looking for some guidance/suggestions here.     We have 6 events scheduled for the next 6 months. We are building a form with all the details and an option for the user to select any number of events they wish to attend.  This is captured in one field, say EVENT NAME.   Now, after form is submitted I am planning to send an email containing calendar invites (.ics files) for all the selected events. If they select 3 events, mail should contain 3 respective 'Add to Calendar' links (or buttons) and not others.   Could you please throw some light on to achieve this.

Hi,   We're using an engagement nurture program for our welcome series, and I'm in the process of setting up some rules to pause/transfer to empty stream leads who have exhausted content. Currently we only have leads coming into two streams, and when viewing these on the Streams tab in the program itself its showing 3,677 exhausted leads across the two streams. However my Smart Campaign (and Members tab) is pulling up 14,652 exhausted leads, and after checking the data that's correct.    It's my understanding that the Streams and Members tab should both show the overall number of exhausted leads. Any ideas why the volumes showing as exhausted in the individual streams would be incorrect/not showing all? Thanks!    

Hi,    We recently sent an email send program using A/B testing for the subject line. When we now try to create Email Performance and Email Link Performance Reports for this program, the system is coming up with 'No Data Found'. The reports are set up to look at the specific Email Send Program (the asset being unavailable to select due to A/B test) over All Time.    I checked a previous Email Send Program from July where we also A/B tested the subject line - the performance reports for this program are also no longer displaying any data when previously they were working fine. We've also checked our performance reports in Analytics looking at monthly, quarterly and YTD sends - both email send programs are also not appearing there, including the July send which was previously.    Has there been a change to how you view this information for email send programs using A/B testing? Is it possible for a customer to enter data into one or two fields and have a third field calculate the value and immediately display for the customer to see?For example:Lot Size: 1000 Sq. Ft.Salt melt area: 1 bag/500sq. ftBags of Salt  Needed: 2 bagsSo the calculated value will be the Bags of Salt, but the first entry is all that is needed.  The Salt Melt area will be a default hidden value stored in the field.Thanks everyone!

Hi Everyone,   I am fairly new to Marketo and looking to get some direction around what I am trying to achieve here. We have a dedicated team of our Customer/Client success managers(CSM's) and each has its own accounts. Till now, we used one default email address to send emails to all clients. We want advanced functionality and the emails should come from respective CSM's to their own accounts. I can create one email and create different versions of that email with different CSM addresses and signature but this approach takes a lot of time. Is there a way around to do this quickly? The account that is owned by a respective CSM, we use a custom field called "Owner" to identify whose account it is.Thanks

Hi there, We're having an issue around formatting a checkbox field in our forms. The form is set up with the field label position sitting above the actual field.     We have a GDPR checkbox field at the bottom of our form. Ideally instead of stacking the field label and therefore have the checkbox sit underneath the field label, we'd like to have the field label sit on the left-hand side and the checkbox on right. We're struggling with achieving this. Has anyone else successfully created a form where one field is laid out differently from the rest? If so how did you accomplish this? Any help would be much appreciated.   Thanks.

Hi community,   I was hoping to find out what the best practices are for using filter choices and wait steps in the flow of smart campaigns. For example, when I am sending an email to customers, changing their program status and then adding them to a static list to ring fence those I have sent to, I have been setting up my smart campaigns as follows: Send Email "September Newsletter" Wait 1 minute "If was sent email September Newsletter" then "change program status to Email > Was Sent Email" Wait 1 minute "If was sent email September Newsletter" then "add to the Static List Was Sent September Newsletter Email" If I am sending to every customer who is run through that flow, is it best practice to use the wait steps and the choices "If was sent email" or should I have it setup as below where there are no wait steps or choices included? We're trying to integrate our calendar app TimeTrade with Marketo so that we can close the loop on understanding when meetings are scheduled/booked/etc. Doesn't look like anything exists. Any exepriences?

Hey guys,   I'm trying to plan out a way to automate Source and Medium values for records who are hitting our pages from Organic Search or Direct Visitors. I notice that Marketo is sometimes able to populate utm_source and utm_medium for organic Google visitors, but this seems to be inconsistent.    Has anyone been able to solve for this? Trying to get some ideas on how best to set this up. We are able to successfully capture utm values for records who come in from advertising or email channels, but still struggle to automate values for organic and direct visitors.   Thanks!

I have a custom field in Salesforce and a smart campaign in Marketo that is meant to update the field with the name of the webform that the person filled out. In Marketo, it looks like it has updated the field, but in Salesforce, the field is still empty.    My campaign smart list is anyone who fills out the form and my flow is Change Data Value of SF field to the name of the form.    Does anyone have any thoughts on what i'm doing wrong? 

I've just started as the Email Marketing Specialist at my company and am getting back into Marketo (I haven't used it since 2016). While setting up a new email type, I learned that the company hasn't used templates for emails (they've been cloning past programs) so I wanted to set one up for a partner email communication.   I cloned a past email program and converted it to a template where our designer could add the various graphical elements we needed. Today, after trying to go back in to update some links in the template, it's only opening up in a text editor with no option to change back to the visual editor (my designer said that's what things looked like when she opened it up).   When I last worked in it, it was a regular editor; I made no changes or updated any settings within that template (I don't have Admin access in Marketo). I thought something had gone wrong while folks were working on it but have since checked on other templates in our Design studio and they're a

I am in the process of building out our landing page templates and have not gone live with any. Some templates in use have a lot of sections removed, and I am worried that the page won't extend to fill the screen (meaning the footer will be half way up).   Is this going to happen? If so, how do I make sure the footer actually gets to the bottom of the page?   See example template.

Hi Everyone! I am working on setting up some simple scoring in Marketo for campaign engagement for Marketo Sales Insights. I downloaded some program templates to get an idea of what to do for scoring. In the templates, I see they are referencing a merge tag in the "change score" flow step: share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuBe4bN. Does anyone know what this does? My thinking was I would just have flow step that says change score like this: share.getcloudapp.com/o0umNLyQ.   Thanks in advance!

Hey all,I am having issues integrating Marketo Sales Insights into Salesforce. I am attempting to install this within a sandbox environment, not our live instance. I've scoured the discussion boards for documentation (which I followed for our Enterprise Salesforce instance) and troubleshooting documentation.The Issue: Upon installing the MSI package following the Salesforce Enterprise installation options, I am getting the following error after configuring all of the page layouts (Lead, Contact, Account, and Opportunity): Required fields are not configured in Salesforce.Priority (Lead)Relative Score (Lead)Relative Urgency (Lead)Priority (Contact)Relative Score (Contact)Relative Urgency (Contact)What the problem is: So this doesn't seem to be an issue that is out of the ordinary, as a lot of the troubleshooting documentation has solutions for this seemingly simple issue. Apologies if there's already a few threads on this, but I just wanted to see what other folks have found works best when configuring your forms to re-subscribe/opt people back in that have previously unsubscribed. I know some documentation says just add the Unsubscribed field to each form, hide it and set it to "No" -- but I wasn't sure if it made more sense to just set a universal trigger campaign for any form fill (minus unsubscribe) to accomplish the same?

Hey everyone   The Zoom integration is set up and is working well. However, we are seeing a reasonably high (10% or so) number of "registration errors". What happens is....   1. Program status changes to Webinar - Registered in Marketo. 2. Zoom receives this information via the integration, and pings back a registration error. 3. Marketo changes program status to "registration error."   There is no additional information I can see about this error....as in, why it failed. First Name, Last Name, and Email are all valid fields, so I'm not sure what else could cause it to error out. I can create a program to watch for these errors, and try to register again, but that doesn't seem to fix it. They still come back with the same status from Zoom.   Any ideas?
