Hi,  I was wondering what the best ways are to measure how effective scoring is and how much impact it's generating. In theory, scoring should:reduce a lead's life cycle (i.e. leads are already well informed so they are ready to move on by the time they are called)make sales teams more efficient (i.e. less calls, more phone pickups)improve conversion rates (i.e. if now only high scoring leads are shared with sales, the assumption is they will convert better since they are the most engaged)but, scoring is also a long-term project that has to be monitored over time, which can make attribution a bit more complicated. If you have to let it run for 6 months, who is to say that that conversion rate increase you are seeing isn't due to some other project interfering?  So I was wondering if anyone has insights or examples into how to: Decide on KPIs to measure (i.e. number of calls, MQL-SQL ratio, avg Lead to Qualified time, sales team satisfaction) Create an

We have a few cases where we need to store duplicates (same email address) in Marketo to sync them separately with our CRM.My question is;  what is the logic behind which of these the activity is recorded on when that duplicate email is used to fill out a form? Is it most recently updated, created or something else? I couldn't quite find the answer from testing. 

I have fields that are showing as required (with asterick) when the required box is NOT checked.  Has anyone else experienced this and have suggested fixes?

I have created custom objects  named as CO and using custom objects (CO)field as a email script token in email for the field created "role". I want to populate based on condition if part of custom objects display role.Problem - Using if condition code it jumps to else condition only.  

I'm in the process of turning on SSL for all of our landing pages. A lot of the templates we have in our instance have images embedded within them, all of which are currently logged on http vs https. While I am going into each individual landing page to update an HTTP -> HTTPS, do I also need to be doing this for any imagery on the page? Or am I only updating hardcoded URL domains? Any guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I have a campaign in which I am pulling in data values from a SFDC custom object that should render the event date and time the subject is scheduled for. However, I only want data values for a certain registrations.  For example if subject registers for a camp session and then registers for an orientation session, I only want to append the orientation session details.  However, because both events are listed in the same custom object, it is appending camp sessions as well.  Any ideas on how I can include only "orientation" sessions in my script?

Hi All, I am looking for some help in determining whether to build an email program with a smart campaign or a traditional nurture program. We are prepping for a new release and want to ensure our potential sellers complete a list of steps prior to being accepted. Their stages in salesforce will determine what email messages they receive. The issue that I am having is that these messages need to be timed at various cadences and some will require additional followups beyond just one email. I am pretty stumped and on a tight deadline here so any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated. 

I am having an issue The form fields are repeating while implementing marketo form with gatsby at times.Upon inspecting the form i can see its just one form not two.Have anyone faced this issue before? Please suggest some resolutions for this.

Looking for help on how to add an OnSuccess message after a Marketo form submit on our website. We want to avoid a Marketo 'Thank You' LP so it doesn't break the session in GA.The form submit results in a page reload and brings the user back to a new, blank form after submit in its current state... We want the submit button to trigger a Thank You message underneath so we can set up an element visibility trigger in GTM. We are a financial services company, and we offer special reports on our website with financial guides and our take on market activity. We require readers to fill out a form with some basic information to access these reports, and they can also check a box indicating that they'd like an adviser to reach out to review their portfolio. If someone new to our database asks for a portfolio review, Marketo assigns them a lead owner so they can be followed up on. Some of our leads and prospects are older and not the most tech-savvy, and recently we've been seeing more and more people fill out 2 or 3 or more of these forms in very quick succession, probably without paying attention to what fields they're filling. When new leads do this, they run through multiple smart campaigns at the same time, getting assigned one lead owner, then immediately getting reassigned to another, which then has to be sorted out over email. I've been trying to think of a good way to prevent this using step

A lot of our forms are free form fill outs and can cause states/countries etc. to be misspelled, abbreviated, etc.  I was wondering if someone had a list that they use to standardize these across?

Hi, We are using a managed Adwords account and under it we have several different Adwords accounts. We integrated all the accounts with Marketo but it doesn't seem to send the conversions to Adwords. We built the revenue model and set up everything according to instructions.  Does anyone have experience with connecting an Adwords Managed (parent) account with Marketo? Is there something we're missing? Thanks

Hi All,i am new to Marketo and wanted to know if we have an option to prioritize email sends in it ?An email that belongs to say a particular campaign should go before the other campaign.Say a contact is scheduled to receive a batch campaign email and an engagement program email on the same day then is there a way i can make sure the batch email is sent first and then a day later the engagement/nurture email ? Thanks!

Hi Folks, What would be the best way to post data from a Marketo form submission to a non- Marketo form on another platform? To be more specific, as an example, I would like a form submission on this page:pages.brainshark.com/TEST-ONBOARDING-EXPERIENCE.html (a Marketo form)to result in a form submission on this page:http://www.brainshark.com/trainandcoach/register/1?8901946(a non-Marketo form) I believe a webhook might be an option here, but I want to confirm before I go down that path. If there's a better way to do this, or if there are other factors I need to be aware of, can someone please provide some guidance? We are working on a segmentation plan for IP Warm Up. We are able to segment by domain and engagement fields but cannot find a tool within smart lists to put a cap on an audience besides 'random sample' which only supports percentages. Is there another tool/filter that would allow us to say 'select top 5,000 from List A', for example? Or any other solutions re: segmenting for daily sending thresholds? Thanks! 

We have data stored in a SFDC custom object that is 2 levels down to the Contact record (Contact --> Purchaser Profile --> Ticket) and according to Marketo, that SHOULD pull through in Velocity Scripting (it's only 3 levels down that's a no-go). But we aren't able to for some reason.  But if we go try to pull 2 levels down through a different route (Contact --> Order --> Order Line Item) we are successful.  The only difference I can see from pulling data from Ticket vs Order Line Item, is that the Ticket is a Look-up relationship to Purchaser Profile, whereas Order Line Item is a Master-Detail relationship to Order. Does anyone know if that makes a difference?  Thanks in advance!

We're trying to use the foreach directive in Velocity to list all the Order Dates that a contact had have, over time.  For example, Joe Smith placed an order today and one yesterday, so in the email I want it to list out both dates. I've used this script: <ul> #foreach ($Program_Order in $Program_Order__cList) <li>${Program_Order__cList.get(0).CreatedDate}</li> #end </ul>But in the email outputs, it just lists out yesterday's date, twice. So it's recognizing that Joe has 2 order records attached to it, but only populating it with the first order's created date in the list. What am I missing in the script?  Thanks!

Unsubscribe me. If  the lead choose the reason "a" it should flag & these leads are must filtered for the future campaigns, if the future campaign is before 1 week. Hello I am having and issue with adding a token to the from field.The names I am using contains special characters: ö ä û etcThe tokens work in the body of the email but not the "From" field.In the database I have tried switching the characters to from ö to ö and %C3 %B6 but with the same result not displaying the correct character.See image: In field management "HTML Encode Tokens in Emails" is checked.thanks for any help getting these to display correctly,Kevin.
