My company is testing out a LinkedIn Live Event for the first time next week. We noticed that you can require registration on LinkedIn to attend the event, but it was a LinkedIn form that asks first name / last name / email. Our Marketo forms contain a lot of hidden ZoomInfo fields that we would be missing if we required registration. However, if we did want to use this event for lead generation purposes, can a LinkedIn Lead Gen form be set up in marketo for the event that does include all necessary fields? I've never used a LinkedIn Lead Gen form so I'm not entirely sure how the process works. Otherwise, if we did not required anyone to fill out a form and they just click "attend" on the LinkedIn event, what might be good ways to promote it for lead gen after the event takes place? We've been seeing low webinar registrations this year (currently using a GoTo Webinar and Marketo integration) and our team is curious about utilizing LinkedIn Live as a test for a webinar rather than GTW. Is it possible to create a trigger for [Fills Out Form] with a [Querystring] constraint that if the query string contains {{program.id}}? Or do triggers have trouble activating based on fields and tokens? I tested this a few ways to Sunday with no activation of the trigger and I'm starting to think that {{program.id}} doesn't populate in time or at all for the trigger to activate but, I wanted to confirm if I've missed a process or solution to make this work as intended.

I am installing Marketo Sales Insight to synch email activities from Marketo to Dynamics 365. So will the past email activities that has already been sent through Marketo would be viewed in MS Dynamics 365 after I install MSI?

Hello everyone, A few months ago, we updated one of our email modules in the email template to ensure it is responsive in dark mode. (This is our text module which is used in all of our emails!) To update existing emails, it seems we need to re-drag the module and update it to ensure it displays correctly in dark mode. Simply re-approving the email template and bulk approving the emails hasn't worked for us. Is there a solution for this? Possibly, is there a way to see a list of emails and the last time they were updated or approved? Comparing this with the date we updated the email template could help us identify which emails still need to be updated. Thanks!Camille

Let's say I want to send the same email to one million people. I don't want to send it to all of them at once as that could cause my IP to get flagged as sending spam. I also really don't want to set up a handful of campaigns with different smart lists every time I want to message this group.At another job, our email sending platform allowed me to set a rule on a campaign like, "send this email to 5000 customers/minute." Is there anything like that in Marketo? I can't find anything that allows me to control the rate at which messages are sent out. Again, I'm really looking for a solution other than "set up the same campaign 5 times with a different smart list attached to each one."

We're running into an issue where our anonymous leads are entering our scoring campaign causing our wait step for decaying the score to be ignored because they're becoming known after they are enter the campaign as anonymous. Has anyone else run into this issue or have a solution? We're having trouble finding a way to decay our scorings without including wait steps due to them being skipped because someone is entering our campaign as anonymous. Example campaign flow:Someone visits webpage on July 15 (still anonymous)July 16th fills out a form to become knownReceives scoring60 day wait stepScore decays*We're seeing the issue once they receive scoring, the 60 day wait step is ignored because they were anonymous when they entered the campaign.

I am not fluent in JS, but was trying to create an embed script to put a form on an outside page, while also allowing the CTA to be changed, as well as re-directing the thank you page based on the URL where the form was embedded. Hello There, Need your expert opinion. There are 30 different programs (list import, web content and email newsletter). I stored member of 30 programs in a static or smart list, but not able to populate "Acquired by" field. Is there any way where bulk members of program can be stored and segregate this 'Acquired by' field? 

Hello - I wanted to see if anyone knew of any limitations to using GIFs in Marketo emails? I had uploaded a GIF in the Design Studio and uploaded the image to the email. I was able to view the GIF just fine on a MAC, but was unable to see it on a PC. Thanks, Matt

Hi all! I understand that the sync between Marketo and Salesforce is bidirectional. I am trying to understand if a lead is created in SFDC, will that sync back to Marketo as a new person? (Assuming that record does not already exist in the Marketo database and that the program in Marketo is synced to SFDC Program) OR Will the lead fail/skip to sync over because that lead does not already exist in the Marketo Database? Simply, if a lead does not exist in the Marketo Database but they do exist in Salesforce, will they be created as a new person in Marketo?

We are having an issuewhen someone clicks a link in an email, it logs the clicked activity twice in the activity log. This is inflating clicked metrics and causing double, click scores to occur. I have checked for any other campaigns that could be causing the click to be recorded twice but there are no other clicked triggers that are influencing this. We did a test and found that only emails sent to Outlook are getting the double click logged. Was curious if anyone else has experienced this issue? TIA
