Marketo Certification Pass mark?

Does anyone have any idea if the MCE Exam pass mark is 75 or 80%?  I've done my exam but I have a few colleagues who are looking to do the exam so I was just wondering?

It was 80% to pass but then as of Monday afternoon it was 75% to pass.

I heard rumon they were thinking about dropping it down to 70% because so many people did not pass. This exam was much harder this year than in previous years.

    maybe you can help me on this one. I have received a while ago the following email but I haven't received my electronic certificate and logo.

    I have tried to reply to email I received without any success.

    Congratulations! You have passed the Marketo Certified Expert Exam by achieveing an overall score of 75% or higher! You will receive your official score by email by May 1st.  When receiving your scores your electronic certificate and logo will be attached to the email. Then, as an added benefit, you will receive an email within ten days inviting you to become part of the Marketo Certification Group in the Marketo Community. We wish you the best in your partnership with Marketo.

    Hi Cecile,

    I just got mine on June 2nd and I passed the test at the Marketo Summit. I'm guessing yours is on it's way...just takes awhile. The email came from certification@marketo.com in case that's helpful.

    Thanks for that insight Juli! That is very helful. I have never had formal training, although I have watched all the foundation courses online. I'm going to start preparing for the test.

    Marketo say after about a years daily use.  I passed after about 5-6months of daily use and a 2 day Foundation Course.

    In general, how difficult is the exam? I have been using Marketo for about a year, and I feel comfortable with it, but there is still plenty more for me to learn. At what point should someone consider taking the test? I realize this is a difficult question to answer, but I have no idea how I would do here.

    Thanks.  I guess they get to re-try the Summit version - little bit confusing tbh.

    Hmm not sure...

    It is 75% at the Summit. If people fail, they get to try again in two weeks for free.

    So its 75% at Summit?  If people failed at Summit will they re-do the Summit version of the exam or will they go back to 90 Q's and 80%?

    At the Summit this year, the passing score was 75% and there were 100 questions. I took the test yesterday and I thought it was much harder than last year's test.
