Description - Offer a widget that displays what I recently viewed, i.e., tasks, projects, users, dashboards, reports, etc. Why is this feature important to you - I bounce back and forth between tasks, projects, dashboards, reports, users, etc. It would be more efficient if there was a widget that displayed what I've recently viewed. Currently, I must search for them which can lead to confusion if things are named the same because a template was used. I could favorite things, but that means I have something else to manage and these aren't things I want to keep. How would you like the feature to work - Duplicate the current My Tasks widget which allows us to choose the filters, view (columns), and groupings that are important to us. Don't restrict the types of things that are displayed. As an Admin, I'd like to see everything I've recently viewed not just tasks and projects, but everything, i.e., custom forms, templates, users. Allow us to choose the number of items it displays simil
We use automated workflows for our proof approvals. We've noticed that when a team member or project sponsor not in the workflow opens the proof a new unattached stage gets added to the workflow. The uninvited user is added to a Workfront stage as a reviewer with disabled notification. WF send these users an email form the system informing them that they have a proof to review. What is especially irritating this is done all behind the scenes and the project owner is unaware that an email was sent to a user. WF doesn't use a standard email copy to notify the added user, it uses the last email that was use by the project owner. What is causing additional anxiety is at times that email may not be appropriate. Please up-vote this so WF can remove the auto Workfront stage generation and associated email notifications.
Within ProofHQ, would love an option to change the default from basic to automated. We use automated workflows and being that basic is the default now with the new look and feel, it is tripping our users up.
Now that users can launch proofs directly from the Home area, there might appear to be less of a need for the user to navigate to the Project's Documents tab to launch/manage their proofs unless they need to add or edit the automated workflow. It would be great if there was an option for those with needed (Supervisor-level) rights to be able to open up any proof to review it and then add an Automated Workflow Template directly from the proof viewer's Workflow panel without having to navigate to the Documents tab in order to access the Proof Details dialog link. It is currently too navigation-heavy for managers who are defining all proof workflows to click into every single Documents tab in order to access the ability to add or refine an automated workflow for a proof.
Large companies want more control over their Proofing Workflow Stages. They want to use automation to dynamically add stages and make assignments. However, they can't do this because WF creates new proofs as Simple proofs. There's no way in the API to convert a Simple proof to an Automated proof without causing problems. The "New Proof" page in WF helps, but there's still a gap with the "Generate Proof" button next to documents. Please provide a way to do this. Ideas include: 1) Provide option to create automated proofs by default, instead of simple proofs. 2) Make Document Versions editable via the API. This would allow integrations to convert existing proofs to Automated Proofs using the ProofHQ API then add then update the ProofID on the document version. 3) Add an "isAutomatedProof" flag to the /createProof action. 4) Add a drop-down to the "Generate Proof" button with the options: Simple or Automated.
The custom message added when uploading a proof for review is only viewable from the notification email, and hidden within the proof details within WF (Proof Details√†Messages√†little ‚Äòi’ icon). Given that reviewers can access a proof from their Home or a Document screen, and not always from the email notification, it would be great if the custom message could be viewed more easily in WF, AND within the proofing viewer for easy reference.
In the project list view, it would be very useful for user's management purpose to know which projects are shared with whom and what type of access they have. On the "shared with" column, please add what type of access those users have. At a high level, we are not able to tell if users can edit the original report, copy it or just view it. At the moment, we have to open each project and check one by one. This is time consuming. Best regards.Hakim.
Add the ability to be able to determine that font size and font type in the soft proofing viewer. Some of our customers have a legal requirement to validate font size while proofing.
If I set any object with a priority setting - especially Urgent - it would be awesome if that showed up in the new Home.Example: if I mark a task as "urgent", it shows up in that person's "My Work" with a red flag or some kind of indicator of its urgency
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Moving an asset to a folder where an asset with the same name already exists creates a duplicate asset without asking if duplicate assets are wanted. It should not be assumed that users want duplicate assets in a folder. The system should prompt the user to make the same selections upon a move that it does upon an upload. The options are: "NAME CONFLICT An asset named ex.1234567.pdf already exists in this location. Click Create Version to create the version of the asset or Replace to replace the asset or Keep Both to keep both assets." Use-case: The use case is duplication of unwanted assets and asset governance. Current/Experienced Behavior: Moving an asset to a folder where an asset with the same name already exists creates a duplicate asset without asking if duplicate assets are wanted Improved/Expected Behavior: The system should prompt the user to make the same selections upon a move that it d
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: A tool that will show all the asset statuses under a particular path. The status will contain some important information like (Reference count, Publish status, Created By, and so on) Use-case: At the time of authoring, the Authors uploaded a lot of DAM assets and referenced them on the AEM page. But sometimes many assets are unused or some pages are deleted after a certain time. But by this time assets are not deleted since this is a time-consuming task. Authors cannot see all the unused assets at a time and are not able to delete them so easily. Current/Experienced Behavior: There is no UI for to see all the Asset statuses under a certain path and bulk delete from that UI. Improved/Expected Behavior: A tool under the asset tool section will help Authors to make clean DAM easily. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM 6.5, AEMaaCS Customer-name/Organization name: Brain Station
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Possibility to configure per DAM folder/location which user groups are allowed to upload which asset types Use-case: Restrict authors from uploading unwanted asset types in unwated locations, while keeping super users (or e.g. admins) the full/unrestricted access. Current/Experienced Behavior: Possibility to limit allowed asset types globally for all users Improved/Expected Behavior: Possibility to confiure the allowed asset types per DAM folder for specific user groups Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEMaaCS Customer-name/Organization name: Hitachi Energy
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: AEM users should be able to filter licensed assets from Adobe stock, given that these assets are not saved in AEM Use-case: AEM users should be able to filter licensed assets from Adobe stock, given that these assets are not saved in AEM Current/Experienced Behavior: AEM user can save assets from Adobe stock to AEM asset, then user can search licensed assets from already saved Adobe stock assets in AEM. User can't filter only licensed assets from Adobe stock search in AEM when Adobe stock assets are not saved in AEM. Assets need to be saved in AEM to do the same. If we connect AEM with Adobe stock and there are many licensed assets in Adobe stock, there is no way to filter all licensed assets from Adobe stock search. Improved/Expected Behavior: AEM user can filter licensed assets from Adobe stock in AEM and save them in AEM Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): NA Customer-name/Or
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: The ability to sort the destination folders alphabetically when moving assets Use-case: We currently have hundreds of client folders in our AEM, being able to sort the list of available folders when moving assets would save us a lot of time. Current/Experienced Behavior: Currently, there is no way to sort the list of folders in the Select Destination step when moving assets. It requires our team to scroll through our entire list of client folders when needing to move assets. The folders also do not populate automatically by alpha Improved/Expected Behavior: We would love to be able to sort the available folders by alphabet at the select destination step to eliminate the need to scroll through a list that seems to be haphazardly sorted. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM as a cloud service, AEM Assets Customer-name/Organization name: Corinne Preston / Stream Companies Screen
When in the Tasks tab and your assigning a task to someone, if that user has PTO recorded in Workfront during the timeframe of that task, the only thing that displays is a yellow triangle next to the persons name that you have to hover your cursor over to read the message that the user is away during that timeframe. Can there be a pop-up instead as no one will read this message?
Hi Team,Presently, all the reports in Analytics/Workspace by default show 'sum total' of row items. It would be great if user has an option to change the default 'sum total' to different arithmetic calculations like average, weighted average etc. for all the metrics (custom, calculated and standard). At present if we want to see average, we may have to create a calculated metrics.Thank you!
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Capability to search for domains in the Domain Settings Page of the Cloud Manager for AEM as a Cloud Service. Use-case: As an administrator, I need to search for a specific domain configured via the Cloud Manager Domain Settings in AEM as a Cloud Service. I am managing hundreds of domains that span across multiple pages, and currently, there is no efficient way to locate a specific domain quickly. Path: <Program> > Program Overview > Domain Settings Current/Experienced Behavior: There is no search functionality available to rapidly locate a specific domain. Improved/Expected Behavior: Search functionality available to rapidly locate a specific domain. In the New Workfront Experience, the Task/Issue Description is on a separate tab than the Updates, making it not possible to see the task/issue description when making an update.Use Case:A user reports an issue through Workfront and in detail describes their issue or asks questions in the Issue description field. That issue is then routed to our IT Team who will triage the ticket. This team will likely be adding documents to the ticket and thus will navigate to that Issue page (since they cannot add documents from the Home page).First, the Updates tab looks so empty without a description - Like I'm on this page, what do I do?Second, to see the description of that issue, the user has to click on the Details tab to see the description (plus a lot of other things).I think it would be very helpful to add the task/issue description to the updates tab so that users don't have to toggle between the 2 tabs and just for ease of use.P.S. If you didn't catch it, we would use the same

ChatGPT can be integrated into AEM in several ways to enhance the user experience and improve the performance in below areas like 1. Content personalization 2. Image and video optimization 3. Insights and analytics 4. AI Chatbots The integration of ChatGPT with Adobe Experience Manager as a Chatbot for websites offers a new level of customer service and engagement. With ChatGPT's cutting-edge natural language processing capabilities, users can receive quick and accurate responses to their inquiries through an intuitive chat interface. This integration enables businesses to provide a personalized and interactive experience for their customers
To integrate Workfront with AEM you need to utilize the "value" of a custom form (back-end name) instead of the "label" (front-end, user friendly name) because AEM requires a formatted string to feed the data. This has an impact inside of Workfront on calculated fields as the calculated fields return the "value" (back-end name) and not the front-end name that users see. For example if you have a Region dropdown, the calculated field would return "regional-coverage/701782" instead of "US."There is not a way to reference the dropdown option's label (front-end name) rather than the value (back-end name). The only workaround is to use a series of IF or REPLACE statements that generate a string equal to the label (front-end name) for the dropdown selection. This becomes highly cumbersome when there are a lot of options to maintain (a country option alone could have 195 options) and even more difficult when there is a multi-select field. The ability to define whether or not we want to return t
Comments/Updates with the most recent replies should be sorted first, and new replies should be bold or highlighted in some way. Why is this feature important to you - My users are constantly missing replies because they get lost in the threads with no obvious way to find the newest replies. Reviewers are busy people and simply will not scroll through their Updates just in case there is a reply somewhere in there. Current Behavior - Comments/Updates are sorted by their original post date & time, and all replies have the same formatting. Users must scroll down and read all the dates to see if there is anything new. With reviewers and approvers needing to look at dozens of items every day, they simply miss new replies.
Description - Currently, the % Complete status in a Program (we refer to it as a Campaign) only shows the status of projects that are in a current state. Why is this feature important to you - We want to see at a glance the status of a program/campaign and not have to sort through multiple projects to determine what project(s) may still be outstanding. How would you like the feature to work - The % Complete status would take into consideration all of the projects under the program/campaign and not just the projects in Current status. Current Behaviour -
Our users' in-app notifications are now so plentiful that they are essentially useless. It would be great if the users were able to turn selected in-app notifications "on" or "off" in their User Settings; ideally, the interface would be modeled on the one that is already in place for customizing Email Notifications. (Frankly, I was surprised to find that we can only customize the Email Notifications, and not the corresponding in-app ones...)
Our instance users are asking for a number of Subtasks to be displayed in the left navigation bar of a Parent task. This feature will prevent users missing any additional subtasks by having the number displayed similarly to how it displays the Number of Documents, and Issues.
Description - Home team and home group names should be available fields for reporting in addition to home team and group IDs. Text mode should not have to be used to create views with group and team names. Why is this feature important to you - Home team and group association are extremely important for effective reporting. Our leadership team is relying on Workfront to understand what is happening within their remits, and what teams/groups have upcoming, current, and overdue tasks. No one is able to identify what the team/group is by the ID. Reports are supposed to be clear and concise, which is why actual names should be made available instead of IDs How would you like the feature to work - Home team and group names should be available fields for all applicable reports without using text mode. Current Behaviour - Only IDs are available; no one is able to identify what the group/team is by a "random" group of letters and numbers.
