Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Currently when you use Manage Publication functionality to publish/unpublish pages, the timeline does NOT provide information about the target so that you can not see to which target it was published/unpublished. And instead of "Page published" entry like in AEM 6.5.16 on Prem only workflow steps are visible which is confusing. Use-case: Timeline should give the possibility the see what happened to page and it is important to know which target was published. Listing of workflow steps for publication which are confusing. Improved/Expected Behavior: Provide proper information about the target to which the page has been published to. Description - The UI update in Data Warehouse removed the ability for all users to see all data warehouse requests. Currently non product admin users only have visibility on the data warehouse request they created. Why is this feature important to you - The marketing team creates multiple data warehouse request a day by copying requests of other users. How would you like the feature to work - I would like to have the ability to share a data warehouse request like you would do a component.Current Behavior - There is no way of sharing data warehouse requests
There was a known issue that was recently resolved which made it so that personal tasks would show up on your timesheet: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront-known-issues/issues/new-workfront-experience/wf-current/wf-timesheets-personal-task-on-timesheet.html I actually thought this was great for tracking time of non-project related administrative work such as annual trainings, reviewing resumes, etc. It would be great if there were a timesheet setting that allowed an admin to either show or hide personal tasks!
Description -Why is this feature important to you - This will allow our users to avoid creating duplicate projects and override the ones created already; helping the reports be more accurate and reduce confusionHow would you like the feature to work - We need the system to avoid allowing us to create a project if there is another one already associated to the request.Current Behaviour - Currently, there is only one message saying that the project already exists, but this message is small and difficult to see. Then, when a user creates a duplicated project for a request, the first project gets overwritten, and the second one becomes the project associated. However, the data from the first project doesn't get moved to the second one, which creates confusion and mitmatches in the data.
Description -Why is this feature important to you - This will help give an accurate report in timesheets and separate leave general category does not need to be submitted manually by users. How would you like the feature to work - Timeoff and holidays should appear by default in the time sheets, if added in the Personal Time off & schedules.Current Behaviour - PTO is added to timeoff in user profile and holidays in schedule which are only used for resourcing. Timesheets does not consider the timeoff
Currently you can go to the Staffing tab and use the Update All feature under the people area. That's great but it would be even better if this were an option to check under the Update tabs on a Task/Issue/Project. There are situations where you really want to add the whole project team and it would make the most sense to just do so from the regular updates area rather than having to navigate over the the Staffing > People area of a project. It would also be helpful if the option showed the list of users it's going to send the update to so that they can be modified on the fly if necessary to remove any users who may not need the notification from the project team. I regularly see project owners using the Update All feature but removing one or two folks that are not impacted by the update.
Description - Slack module/addonWhy is this feature important to you - AlertsHow would you like the feature to work - Allow workflows to trigger alerts to slack, an extra option in the workflow properties to configure under which state an alert will be triggered, also, enhance current workflow "Alert activity" to choose between email or slack alert or both.Current Behaviour - non I've seen clients developed their on integration with slack for monitoring purposes, but it would be nice to have a native module.
Description - We would like to know when will you have Email Designer feature available in Adobe Campaign Classic and whether it’s on your roadmap. I see it’s there for Campaign Standard (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-standard/using/designing-content/designing-content-in-adobe-campaign.html?lang=en) but not Classic? Why is this feature important to you - We would like to utilize the drag and drop feature of email designer to easily design HTML content with intuitive interface and personalization options. How would you like the feature to work - To design email by using drag and drop feature and use content fragments or templates and also apply personalization logic via interface.Current Behaviour - With Classic we have to code HTML outside of the tool and then import in Adobe Campaign and then applying personalization logic.
For maintenance purposes we need the ability to generate a report that captures total number of times a report has been rendered and the last date accessed.
Allow the API to call up the results from reports built within WorkFront. Currently, the reporting tools that are developed by end users within Workfront are inaccessible to developers and the software they create. I've had to recreate several reports from scratch for the API to get the same set of data.
Happy Monday fellow Workfront superstars! Recently, I have been doing some archived reporting in my instance and running into trouble trying to collect the right data points across the various records. Therefore, I was thinking that it would be helpful if Workfront had a vlookup type function that could scan one or multiple reports to provide you with a check and balance. Why is this feature important to you - Workfront has done an incredible job allowing forms to be cross-object compatible. However, some times I recognize older issues/projects/tasks/etc. (pre a system enhancement) have a tougher time to navigate through and amalgamate what you are searching for.How would you like the feature to work - My thought would be to generate a report and type in a reference report link with a key search field identified (e.g. Project Name). Then Workfront would scan the reference report and return a field (in new report) that identifies if a record is present or not present in the ref
Description - Block WebSDK updates to the Target Recommendations Catalog done through console by running alloy script. Why is this feature important to you - For security reasons and avoid unauthenticated updating of contents on the page which could change the dynamics of the web page. How would you like the feature to work - A way to prevent the console updates from WebSDK from overriding the updates sent in through the API, block particular fields from WebSDK updates or block WebSDK updates entirely. Current Behavior - A malicious visitor could potentially run the same call but add a different content to it. This change will show up in their, and everyone else's, recommendation feed within a few minutes and will stay there until the next nightly script run. They do not require any special permissions or API keys (I tested this on my personal laptop in incognito mode). The potential for abuse is not only in defacing the website, but also i
