In mobile services contextData is passed in a Key/Value pair, it seems rather "old-school" to then require an admin user to go in and remap the key again to a different system level key. Understandably this is done to provide cross compatibility with SC/Adobe Analytics, but by default you could have a contextData key to Friendly Name mapping for AMS and Workspace, and then optionally use props/evars for components that would need to be used in SC. If a contextData key is not mapped to a Friendly Name then it is not processed otherwise the import processing just needs to locate the contextData key rather than an additional mapping. This would remove the limits on props and evars, and lighten the implementation effort. Thanks.-Lee
It would be good to have 2 different types of graphs on a duel axis. For example you may have volumes of logins as a bar chart with the login rate as a line chart of the top.
Hopefully a very small / easy request that would make life a lot easier. The ability to share with individual users and groups is great however on a relatively frequent basis we need to make a lot of changes and manually having to search for each user (or group) one at a time to unselect them is a massive pain. Is there a way you could add an "Unshare All" action so when we want to unshare all or unshare all to add a handful of people back on manually it's not quite as onerous?
While Report Builder has a fallout report, it doesn't have the same capabilities as the one in Workspace. Specifically it would be really helpful to be able to add events and the like to the Report Builder report. Right now I can't recreate the same ones in both tools and it is adding multiple extra steps to our monthly reporting.
Please, make Numeric 2 Classifications available and supported in Analysis Workspace and Ad Hoc Analysis.
Currently I'm not able to edit my email address for my user. Neither customer support can edit a user's email address. Only solution is to create a new user and migrate his assets. This is ridiculous. Please make it possible to edit a user's details!
Would it be possible to have a share option in the segment/metric builders. Currently you have to build the segment save and exit then find the segment and share. It would be handy to have the option to select who you want to share it with in the builder and then save and exit. This would also make it easier if creating segments within workspace so you don't have to remember to go back and share.
It would be great, to have entry & exit dimensions for eVars.Without those, one may only rely on such dimesions for props, which work insufficiently for values longer than 100 chars. Especially in case of exit & entry page URL, which might be the exit & entry dimension, chars might be cut in many cases. Hence, those dimensions would only be truely useful in combination with eVars.
Hi,There is a problem when we use "Display only selected rows".The total is recalculated but the metric "unique visitors" is false. The total becomes the sum of each lines but a visitor can be included in two different lines.Best regards
The erosion of third-party cookie support has had a substantial impact on how companies interact with their audience. Apple's rollout of Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), for example, impacts analytics data collection as well as ad targeting. There are methods to check whether a website visitor has disabled third-party cookies, but these often require a level of site access that won't work for marketers who only have access to a tag manager. It would be great if Adobe provided an out-of-the-box solution that indicates whether a website visitor has enabled or disabled third-party cookies. This is different than the Cookie Support report, which indicates whether cookies are supported at all.
If/When you work on updating the classification tool, can you include the ability to classify the number 0?
Unfortunately, these are the only parameters that can be setup while creating a virtual report suite.{ "rsid":"vrs_dehans0_newvrs", "parent_rsid":"sistr2", "name":"new vrs", "segment_list": [ "536bfa98e4b06d874b0c927a", "536bfa99e4b06d874b0c927f" ] }However, it would be great to have the possibility to adapt tags and description of a virtual report suite as well.
I'd like to have a button from the filter modal that would let me easily create a segment from the filter I have setup.
Hi ,We are using Audience Manager and Omniture. We want to create bounce rate trait on Audience manager. For example: Trait rule will should that bounce rate is higher than %80. To do this, firstly, we should create segment on Omniture. But we couldn't create bounce rate metric in a segment. We can only use events / default metrics in segment. After talking to adobe support, we understood that we couldn't do this. So, have you had a chance to develop to use bounce rate metric in a segment ? Thank you
By default, 30-something dimensions are excluded from Contribution Analyses that are run in Workspace. A few new dimensions should be added by default to remove noise:
Hello Adobe Community,I want to submit an idea about new Time ranges that could be calculated from a selected date. For exemple, If I select a week on the date selection ( let's say week 52 of 2016) , my custom time range should be calculated from date selection - and wouldbe week 51 - in order to make a week to week analysis on week 52. Time ranges can already be calculated from rolling dates, but cannot change whenever the date selection changes. These new time ranges could facilitate the analysis of past weeks or past months - since it would'nt be necessary to change all the time ranges from existing reports on rolling dates.Kind regards, and Cheers to the Adobe Community !Mario
Hello, the alerts listing always loses the applied filters when browsing between alerts.Which is very frustrating Steps to reproduce: within the Alerts components into AA, apply a filter (e.g. Other Filters --> Show all) open a filtersave it and go back to the filter list ==> you'll get the list without any filter appliedWould be amazing to save the applied filters when browsing. Thanks!Sebastiano
There is the option to add a user expiration, and to change / extend it but not to remove it so if you accidentally set an expiration or for example somebody decides to leave the business but we manage to retain them we can't ever remove that expiration. Minor but slightly annoying.
It would be useful to be able to have the option to see ranking maintained when applying a filter or segment to a report. With so many pages, we have to do a Data Warehouse export to Excel to be able to search for a page and see how it ranks.
Hi I am one of the people who still use Ad Hoc more than Workspace. I do like Workspace, but there is one main reason for my love to Ad Hoc.When I search within my thousands of segments, it does not matter whether I write "Car sale" or "Sale Car" as search phrase in Ad Hoc. It will find the stuff nevertheless. In Workspace I have to remember exactly what order my segments are named. This is such a big difference for someone playing around with thousands of segments. I do have namestructures on them, but the order can be difficult to recall at times. Did I put the "." before or after "Sweden" for example.Anyway. Please update the workspace search box so that it does this as well as Ad HocMichael
Currently in workspace if you curate a project you have to select specific dimensions, metrics, segments and dates to include. What we would like to be able to do is curate a project to a specific dimension i.e. page but allow users to access any segment they wish.WHat would be even better is if you could just curate segments or metrics to any 'approved' ones.
Since minute granularity is available in Workspace, this provides some great insights! However it is a pity that for extracing larger sets of data, this needs to be done manualyl via Workspace. It would be great if you'd enable minute granularity in DWH requests!
Currently, analysts who want to understand variable settings (expiration, special settings like merchandizing, etc.) either must have administrative access or must rely on documentation provided by others. It would be really helpful to allow a level of access where administrative settings can be viewed but not changed. With more eyeballs on the settings, this could also have the added benefit of catching errors in settings, etc., more quickly.
It would be great to introduce "seg-dims" into Adobe Workspace. What I mean by this is the ability to almost folder/group created segments. Current workaround for this is by naming segments 'x: abc' and 'x: def' - then searching for 'x:'.
Login to Adobe Analytics web interface. Navigate to Admin > Logs.I would like to have an API version of this.Use case: Ability to create tools for GDPR EU law compliance (e.g. AA user from EU able to provide their credentials and receive AA access/usage logs about themselves).
