Currently Advertising Analytics only works for "Google Adwords" (Advertising Analytics Overview). But in the same Google Ads account you can set up "google display ads" and the data gets delivered by the same API as already used in Advertising Analytics. The problem is, that the generic "s_kwcid" parameter delivers a not expected AMO ID...idea: open Advertising Analytics for Google display ads"remark: after I made some testing on the "s_kwcid" parametes and having a look at the AMO ID cöassification, I believe it would not be muchvwork to get it up and running officially. my "fix" already works, but some data is missing (like "placement"). Let me know if you need more information to make the change.
While it's unusual we're a relatively large business and sometimes rely on the logs within the admin section to identify who made a change in certain situations. Currently Data Feed changes don't show up under the logs, these are particularly important to us and any changes can severely impact downstream processes in our business if changed without prior planning and notice. Could changes to these be added to the logs so we're able to identify who made a change, when they made it and to which feed.
Current analytics intelligent alerts are much better than legacy alerts. These are some thoughts to enhanced Intelligent Alerts in 2019.1. Ability to exclude/filter alerts on weekends vs weekdays. (Much awaited request since a long time) @ursboller has great workaround ideas here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2598789. 2. Ability to add custom text alerts on certain future dates. Campaign start/end Dates. 3. Ability to add an alert on evar/prop value anomaly. eg. "standard" login evar value anomaly vs login event anomaly.4. Ability to add an alert when a report is ready to pull in another system. Please add more thought in comments.
On the Analysis Workspace 'homepage' you see a list of all your projects and projects shared with you. After a while, this list can get quite big, especially if you are creating project for other people and sharing them.It would be nice to be able to create folders so I can assign projects to different folders. I could have a folder for Projects created for others, a folder for B2C projects, one for B2B projects etc. This would make that 'homepage' cleaner and possibly easier to find the project you are looking for.
I would like to have the following metric from mobile services visible to adobe analytics side: Push notification published count.
I would like to be able to script Workspaces using Javascript. An API would be awesome.Example: when user drags changes Dimension in one table, listener gets triggered. Javascript code attached to that listener then updates other tables in the Workspace.Example of things I would change programmatically:- Dimensions / Metrics / Segmentation - add, remove, change, break downs (add, remove, change)- Date ranges- Show / hide panels- Replace text
Would like to see the following features in Adobe Workspace: 1. Calendar events - Can see this only in standard reports 2. Channel overview - Only seen in standard reports 3. Next page flow reports - similar to standard reports 4. Adding TargetsAlso would be really good to be able to add future dates in Data Sources.ThanksSapna
When using a Full Processing data source type, you have to manually click "Complete Processing" for each file upload. It would be very useful to optionally automate this process, so we could for instance complete processing of the given data on a daily or hourly basis. The challenge from Adobe's point of view regards processing data for 'open visit', i.e. populating variables in the middle of a user's visit; but just as the "Complete Processing" functionality deals with this problem, so should a scheduled processing completion occur.
Column heading in Workspace should be freezed once user clicks on it so that it becomes easier to click on 'I' and 'settings' icon. Right now, sometimes its so difficult to click on these icons if there are multiple columns and due to which full column items are not visible. For example, in below case its very difficult to click on 'settings' and 'I' icon, however slow I hover on the column.
Issue: An analytics user needs to be an Adobe Analytics Product Admin in Adobe Admin console in order to map variables in Adobe Mobile Services. We have multiple analysts and developers who want to do the mapping but I don't want to make every an Adobe Analytics Admin giving them full range over our entire analytics platform. The permission group "Mobile App Admin" should be enough except it doesn't include being able to edit mappings. Makes no sense. What I've tested:I've concluded that even though I give someone access to every available permission in our Adobe Analytics profile, that user still cannot map eVars, Props, or events in Adobe Mobile services without being an Adobe Analytics product admin. There is a default Adobe product profile called "Mobile App Admin" which still only gives a user read only access. I need developers and analysts able to map variables that they have setup in Adobe Analytics report suites without having to give them admin access to the entire product sku
When a user opens a shared project in Analysis Workspace and would like to leverage somebody’s segment with a few amendments, they have to build a segment from scratch as there is no option to open it in the Segment Builder to apply desired changes and save it with a new name. Please add an option Save As (open in Segment Builder) for the segments that are in shared projects.
When scheduling a workspace to be sent via CSV, it would be great if we had the option to 'include hidden tables'. We have some large projects that we use for dashboarding and analysis but would also like to leverage the CSVs. It annoying to have to either 1) unhide all tables or 2) manage two projects (one with unhidden tables)thanks,Mike
Hi,if I got the exact same linkIDs in my (sub)navigation, Activity Map shows the same values and rank, but it would be better if there was a warning sign for those duplicates.RegardsStefanie
Currently Admin Console gives the perception that granting permissions by product profile is a scalable way to grant permissions, with AND logic, and reinforced here: Enterprise Help | Manage product permissions in the Admin Console. After talking with Adobe client care, this is false. Not only can product profile permissions conflict with each other, in an OR logic fashion, but there is no way to know how product profiles will interact with each other except through trial and error (per Adobe Client Care Incident: 190204-000614). For example, in trying to combine a product profile with a single report suite in it with a product profile granting access to an array of data feeds utilities, the user does not get access to the single report suite such that it can be used in combination with the data feeds permissions. This was confirmed by ACC.Solution proposed:- Create product wide AND or OR logic for product permissions and document it, ideally AND logic
We are heavy Alert Users. The challenge: We want *relevant alerts*. Adobe's Anomaly detection system is ok, but 95% of the *Hourly Alerts* it spits out are completely irrelevant as traffic simply oscillates too much from one hour to the next, AND because Adobe seems to take only the last 24 hours into account when looking for Anomalies. So we had to deactivate all our Hourly Alerts.1. However, Daily Alerts are too late for something really critical, so Adobe needs to either improve the Hourly Alert logic, or offer something in between, like _3-hour-periods or 6-hour-periods_ which don't jump up and down all the time like hourly data.2. Alerts should be configurable to fire only "only if a value is _HIGHER/LOWER_ than expected" (and a certain Significance Level. We don't care so much if the Conversion Rate of Google Shopping is greater than expected, we want to be ALERTED when it goes DOWN because then we have to take immediate action.
Hello, When using A4T integration in Target for my activities, I can see in Target reports AND in Analytics reports which experience is the control experience for any given activity. But after speaking with Analytics support, it is not possible to retreive that information from Report Builder. So, make possible to get information about which experience for any given Target activity (with A4T integration) is the Control experience. That would greatly help on subsequential calculations based on that output.
As an analytics admin, I only want to maintain a single set of user permissions and user groups. Currently we have to maintain our user groups and permissions and a seperate list for emailing. Publishing Lists & Email Users options should include as default lists the ability to select groups defined in the user management area. You could then send a report or an email to all the users defined in this group instead of having to build a seperate publishing list that replicates these admin groups.
With the push to remove complexity out of tagging, reporting and analysis I would like to see eVar support inside of the real time reports and API.For those of us that want to use the realtime reports we are forced to leverage props. But we do not want to use both props and evars for the same data (too confusing for end users!).I propose that the support for evars works exactly how the prop support works. Whatever data is on the hit should be available in real-time and we leave persistence of data to reporting and analysis workspace.
Add the ability to put two dimensions next to each other in a workspace freeform table instead of only allowing to pivot dimensions.Example:DayWeekday/Weekend Marketing ChannelOrders7/11/2019WeekdayOrganic Search47/11/2019WeekdayPaid Search67/10/2019WeekdayOrganic Search27/10/2019WeekdayPaid Search1
Hi,when I currently segment for hits with certain values, unfortunately, the segment does not apply to entries/exits/bounces (rate) because those metrics are not "hits" by Adobe definition and hence glued to the visit but not to a particular hit :-( . Problem: I cannot use segmentation for many kinds of analysis, i.e. Exit Rate calculation. It's not logical to me and I might make mistakes.I would expect: entry = 1st hit of visit / exit = last hit of visit / bounce = hit is both 1st and last (the only hit of the visit) I have raised it with Clientcare and they say this is a feature. If you have any further questions, just let me know. RegardsStefanie
The ability to add Target Activity & Target Experience dimensions into Data Warehouse reports.
Adobe,The Admin Console is still HIGHLY labor intensive when you want to control permissions for Adobe Analytics. Not only that, it's a BAD user experience.First of all, I should not have to go to the Help documentation just to understand the sub-groupings of permissions you previously had in the group and user access management in the Adobe Analytics tool.Even worse: On any of the Permissions edit screens - EVERY time you add or remove an item from either the Available Permission Items or Included Permission Items, the list jumps back to the top and also wipes out your search criteria. You also can't select more than one permissions option at a time (REALLY?!?). The Metrics and Dimensions permissions contain ~2,000 options alone, and you want me to either add/remove everything, or tediously scroll (or search) for every single change I need to make?I was honestly hoping when we went through the user migration that this would be fixed shortly afterward, but I'm thinking Continuous Im
Hi Adobe, since ages I wait for you to do some proper stuff for your customers. This is the first time I follow the invitation to place the idea here, but I still find it blaming for you that I have to do so!Here's why:- I need YTD- I need it through sFTP- For sure there will be more than 50.000 rows of dataUnfortunately, there is no tool that can fulfill all the 3 requirements!YTD can only be fetched through Report builder but it wouldn't support rows more than 50,000 and it delivers to FTP only!Data warehouse will give you unlimited rows with SFTP support but doesn't support YTD feature!Don't talk about delivering by mail and forget reports & Analytics or Workspace! This is like the distinct count, which is also not available and a ton of other really normal things when working with data, but you're the Leader in analytics, well....
Can we have the ability to alter rule builder vai the admin / classfication api? When you have hundered of sites imapcted by serveral rules it would be nice to utalize an api to do bulk edits. ThanksSteven
It would be infinetely beneficial to enable processing rules to build/handle the product variable. This is something other 3rd party tools like Segment & mParticle are able to do. As our implementation becomes more complex and spans multiple platforms we are reliant on mutliple developers (web, ios, android, windows, etc) for implementation support. Asking our developers to update the product string for all new measurement requirements requires time & money. However, asking them to prgoramatically solve adding new variables to a product context variable (or any context variable) reduces developement resources and increases implementation speed & flexibility. It would be great if we could pass an array of product data as a context variable that we could then use to build the product string with processng rules. See below for an example array. Also, it would be an added bonus if we no longer had to set s.events for events existing wthin the product variable. But if thi
