When we try to schedule or to send a report using report builder (but usually with all the Adobe analytics) there is always problem with the syntax we have to use. First of all you should state which syntax you require (just with a simple e little tooltip if you prefer). Last, with the new release of report builder, it seems to me you require to remove any blank space between each email, but when you show the setting you add the space...
Given Report Builder offers the option for hourly reports would like to be able to add the hour into the timestamp of the filename else you cannot differentiate between the reports received in a single day.
Within the scheduled projects page can we have the option of the column which shows the next time the project is scheduled to be run?
We have many users still using dashboards in R&A and having the ability to export a dashboard in .csv would be handy, as they currently have go through each reportlet to get the data in .csv. While I know it's available in Workspace, not all of our users are using it.
Hi,Idea:The alert builder should provide the option to set the number of maximum alerts to be sent. thanks.
When you drag a component into a segment definition there is no reference to the variable (i.e. eVar1) it refers to. So for classification folders, if they do not contain the variable reference in the friendly name (i.e. page url (v1)) you do not know. Can this be added? I believe it was just added for components in analysis workspace tables.
Whenever we want to share a component from the Workspace, we click-right in the concerned component and then click "Share". This will display a small pop-up where we have to select the users we want the component to be shared with. However, if we want to see with whom the component has already been shared, the only way right now is to scroll the whole user list and see one by one if the checkbox is checked or not.It would be great to order by default the list by putting the already selected users on top so that we can see them directly.
Hi,Idea:The alert builder should provide the option to specify how many times the alert condition needs to be true before sending an alert. Example: the alert condition needs to be fulfilled 1, 2, 3, ...100 times before sending the alert.
Hi,Scheduled reports from the workspace of Adobe Analytics don't have the ability to embed the report in the email body, in addition to the attachment. Can we add this functionnality. This is very practical when we need to read it on the smartphone.Best,
hi,Idea:The alert builder should provide the option to select a custom reference period for the anomaly detection.Example: rolling last 2 hours, last 12 hours, from date x to date z rolling
Currently the custom calendar does not give the option of making a leap year a 53-week year. Our fiscal calendar does just that, thus does not line up with Omniture. It would be great to have this option in the future.
Currently we cannot add list var settings as column selections on the Report Suites page in Admin. I would love that to be enabled! It would be awesome to have the Customize Columns (top right) have List Vars as an option when filtering Report Suites.
In Report Builder, currently we don't have option to prioritize refreshing data blocks.By implementing this option we can easily get complicated data.RegardsAshok
It would be a great feature if you would be able to distinguish which evars, props, and events are being set in specific Data Elements and Rules via the search fields in Launch.
Our use case requires the creation of bulk segments (10s of thousands of identifiers) and frequent maintenance of the same. Can you build this functionality akin to an excel upload?
It would be great to have a link to the report automatically included in scheduled workspace report. Although it possible to generate a link to the report and include it in the report, the link is sometimes broken and require to be updated (eg. when they are changes in the workspace report)
Hi, In Adobe Analytics, I tried to get the overall sum of servercalls for all reportsuites together. Currently, I have to download the usage report for each of my 25 reportsuites for every month separately. Then I have to sum up all these numbers to see the sum of server calls of this month. So, if I want to know the servercalls for each report suite for the last year, I have to download it for Januar, Februar, March, ... and afterwards I have to sum up the data from report suite 1, report suite 2, report suite 3, ... It would be great to have an automatic process for this. Thanks and regards,Linda
In theory this may seem unnecessary given if you're in a report suite all data is coming from the same place, however, due to the fact calculated metrics can be used across report suites if you want a single calculated metric with some minor differences between report suites then you have to create multiple metrics. If report suite was a dimension you could use it in conjunction with an IF formula to return a slightly different result for each report suite, that would make it much easier to build a single metric that can work across multiple report suites.
To be able to create more than 3 real-time reports per report suite.Currently 3 is the max.https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/arb/real_time.html
Right now, Reloads metric is available only for the Pages Dimension in Adobe Report Builder. If we need to see the Reloads for overall site, we need to use Page Dimension to sub-total it based on the ganurlarity which is tough to build the auto dashboards. Have created a calculated metric PageViews without Reloads (Page Views - Reloads) and automate it using Report Builder, but the option is not available in Site Metrics(Available in Adhoc Analysis). It will be great if we can add Reloads to the Site Metrics.
I created a rollup across 15 suites and noticed report builder can't pull the data in. Please give this ability, so we can easily schedule reports.
In Workspace projects we often need to re-create the same, sometimes really complex, panels. It would be really beneficial to be able to save a panel for later use in another project in a repository, or just be able to copy the panel from one workspace project to another. This could also be expanded, so that panels could be created/edited by utilising a scripting language, for example Lua.
I'm proposing a feature enhancement to the Advanced Scheduling file options to enable choosing PDF for a macro enabled workbook. https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/arb/schedule_macro_wb.html Currently you can only send a macro enabled workbook as a macro workbook but as an analyst who uses macros for workflows, template copying, and data clearing it would be great to still be able to send my macro workbook to my audience as a PDF even though the workbook has macros. I understand sending the file as a macro workbook makes sense if you are sending as an excel file but when I'm using Report Builder to build a report to send to people as a PDF it should not matter if my workbook has marcos.
About 35% of our traffic is not real and we working towards implementing ways to filter out this traffic. One of those is the blog post below:Advance Your Bot Filtering Powers | Adobe I am a big fan of the idea. However, as I began implementing I realized that the Customer Attribute Segments that are created are only compatible with the reporting interface and not Datawarehouse. We run a ton of reporting through data warehouse. Can we please add Customer Attributes / Customer Attribute Segmentation to Datawarehouse? Thanks,Michael
looking at the current project manager in adobe analytics i can see a lot of improvements. it currently looks like this:i would love to see the following improvementsSchedules flag: projects with a schedule should have a sign/flag (maybe other colors for active, failed, expired)Metrics/Dimensions: columns with used metrics/dimension/segments within the project workspaceFilter: Currently there are only "positive" filter, no way to "exclude" certain flagswould love to have more information within this list.
