There are some OOTO variables which are not shown in the segment manager, such as timestamp, visitor ID, etc...I would like to create a new segment using those parameters, too. For example, I would like to create a new filter that includes all hits that are occurred during every 7pm - 9pm.Cloud you allow all users to use such internal variables (dimensions?)
Currently the contact email defaults to whoever setup the schedule and it can't be changed. I don't want to receive the multiple confirmation emails sent everyday but instead want to send them to a group mailbox. It would be good to have the functionality to do this. Also once an extract is scheduled it is not possible to then go back into that extract and change any of the options i.e. amend a segment applied or change a metric. It would be good if the extract could be edited post scheduling. At the moment we need to cancel request and reschdule. It would be good to have the ability to clean up the recent requests list. Once something is cancelled or runs it remains on the list. We now have 100's. It would be good if we could housekeep this list and tidy up all old requests.
Adobe Mobile Marketing Services has great two-metric donuts under "Usage -> Technology". Can we please have thsi grpah type in Workspace, too? It is so useful to break down a donut graph further.
Attribution IQ is all great in Adobe Analytics, but when used it in f.ex. Marketing Channels, it attributes some conversion to Session Refresh, which is unnecessary. Would be great if there was a way to be able to remove the Session Refresh from attribution and share the credit to all the other channels. Or do some more advanced rules like if direct channel is the last touch it's value is half.
Hi, I managed to use participation metrics on simple prop variables, but it doesn't seem to work with "hit" segments. It is an issue when you have a prop that can have many different values and you want the global participation of a group of those possible values. For example, I use "Purchase (participation)" as a metric, if I use it with prop1, I get:prop1 = 'abc' => 150 purchases (in participation)prop1 = 'def' => 10 purchases (in participation)prop1 = 'ghi' => 50 purchases (in participation)etc. But if I create a segment based on hits with prop1 containing 'abc' or 'def', or a segment with prop1 containing 'abc' OR prop1 containing 'def' for example, I can't get purchase (in participation) for this segment (NB: as 'abc' get 150 and 'def' get 10, I guess the segment should get something between 150 and 160).
Currently only users will full admin rights to a suite can create and share a workspace custom template (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/analytics/analysis-workspace/starter_projects.htmlI am told that there is no way to give anyone the ability to create templates without giving them full admin rights. Please add the ability for product managers to give ability to create templates on a account-by-account basis without requiring the user to be full-admin.Thanks
I LOVE the calculated metric builder and I've started using some of the more advanced functions to start producing some much more useful interactive Workspaces. One wall I've hit though is that if I want to create a table of top products that match metric criteria such as "show me conversion for products with more than 1000 visits" when I rank in the opposite direction all I get is 0%. While this is technically accurate it means I can't create a table of those top products I'm just ranking the most relevant ones at the top.The reason for this is the false value of the function is 0 which is still interpreted as a value and therefore displayed in the report, what I want to be able to do is set it to NULL instead so that if I sort by that metric ONLY those products are displayed and everything with no value is hidden.
The "Devices" Report, probably based on data from DeviceAtlas.com is not really useful, since it contains the device identifier in the Name string and thus does not group equivalent devices. There are e.g. dozens (hundreds?) of "Galaxy S7" devices which are all the same, but have slightly differing names. Utilisation of more inclusive DeviceAtlas tables would be beneficial here. Today, we don't know our most common Android devices -- especially since the Devices Report can not be classified. For example: https://sc5.omniture.com/x/5_1uf35 lists all "Galaxy S7" devices. However, - Orange Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F)- Verizon Galaxy S7 (SM-G930V)- T-Mobile Galaxy S7 (SM-G930T)and dozens of others are all listed as individual devices. This is not at all helpful when trying to understand common hardware in your userbase. It would already be helpful if "Device Name" would be available in two variable, e.g. "Samsung Galaxy S7" and "SM-G930". Even better if these variables would be classifieable.
We need the ability to create an alert at the dimension level, which we were able to do with the old "top 1000 items" functionality in the legacy alerts. The alert should fire if any single item in a dimension reached a certain threshold.
We are making extensive use of virtual report suites to manage the way we share & present data throughout our organisation. However, the lack of support for Data Sources potentially wreaks havoc on our carefully planned virtual report suites strategy. The problem is that every time a user requires access to the data uploaded via data sources (e.g. e-mail sent, opened, bounced etc.) we have to open up access to the underlying report suite completely bypassing our carefully curated virtual report suites. Please can you consider adding support for Data Sources to Virtual Report Suites?
Please enable calculated metrics in Datawarehouse requests. This will save us a lot of time while extracting the data through DWH
I found a bug in the admin section of Adobe Analytics. If you select multiple report suites, and edit Traffic Variables / Commerce Variables / Success Events, it will show you “Multiple” if there are different names, settings, etc. – If you click on “Multiple”, you will be able to see the different names/settings and you are able to overwrite the value if you want to.This works perfectly for every link but for the Type of Success Events. If you click on “Multiple” for a Type, it won’t show you the different types (Disabled, Counter, …), but it will show you the different names. So it happens the same as if you click on “Multiple” in the name column, but you aren’t able to inspect the type differences. It would be great if you could quickly solve the bug, as we’re currently comparing report suite differences, and need to compare the types of our success events.Best,Stefan
On the new Experience Cloud Debugger, please add the following fields that existed on the old Digital Pulse Debugger::1. Version of Code - this shows which version of AppMeasurement the page is using (note: this is different than the Javascript version)2. Third Party Cookies - this shows the tracking server in use.Having these two added in would make it much easier to properly debug new pages to make sure the comply with the rest of the site.Thanks.
We want to create an Alert to tell us when a Tracking Code is outside the bounds of accepted codes, to tell us when a marketing person has created an improper code. But I notice when I drag Tracking Code dimension to the "filter" section, the UI ONLY allows for "equals" checking. This isn't feasible because we cannot possibly anticipate every badly formatted code. I tried using an asterisk, but that doesn't work either.Ideally we would like the Alerts to allow for "contains" or "starts with", etc., similar to what is available for segment creation. We use a standardized format for tracking codes per web property, so for instance for a certain web property we should only have tracking codes matching the format of EM_01_(whatever). So an alert we'd like is if a tracking code ever is something like EM_02_*, EM_03_*, etc.
We need to pull an unlimited number of rows using the Reporting API but to do so we have to set the source to data warehouse. But when using data warehouse, you cannot retrieve the current day's data. We would like to see the ability to retrieve unlimited rows of data that also include data from today up to the time the report ran.
Not a new idea. This was submitted as an idea over four years ago. It is still a problem for many users. Please expand s.purchaseID to support unique strings larger than 20 characters. 64 characters would be just peachy as it would support a SHA256 output.https://forums.adobe.com/ideas/6214#comment-241670
My team offers support within the company for Workspace. Because of this responsibility, we all have many many projects users have shared with us over the years. It would be nice if we could remove these items from our project list without reaching out to each original owner individually. We know the projects can be transferred to a central account and magic can be worked out that way. However, we have hundreds of users and maintaining that process for one or two admins is not very practical.
Current Issue:Users do not have the ability to copy + paste segment containers in segment builder, resulting in extra clicks needed to build segments where the same containers must be repeated throughout the segment. Proposed Idea/Resolution: Add the ability to copy a container in Segment Builder and paste as another container within the segment you are building -- including all the logic within the container. Benefit:Makes it faster to build complex segments when a specific container and its logic are repeated within other containers in the segment. See example below:Thanks!
It would be nice to have the metric gauge selection where we can have the red, orange, and green set based on a rolling 12 week period and have the meter based on the 12 week average, plus and minus 10%. Right now this is done manually so would like to automate as much as possible.
I would love to be able to use the new CIRD format to add IP address ranges to BOT rules and to Exclude by IP settings At the moment I can not exclude 40 CIRD values of internal traffic using Exclude by IP as:- 40 CIRD include roughly 400 IP addresses and I can only add 50 - I can not define ranges I have to use BOT rules which cater for IP rangers, however it would be a good time to update the tool to cater for new CIRD formatting. It will bring the solution up to speed with the new standards and will save me a lot of time for playing with more exciting Adobe stuff Thanks!
I'm getting increasingly frustrated that when I go to edit an existing segment, calculated metric, Workspace, or other element it will often times change the Report Suite to one I was operating in recently. It does not alert you it's happening. It does not take into account the Report Suite in which the element was originally created or saved. This is infuriating because I work with clients with multiple report suites and several times a day, inadvertently one of my elements will get saved to the wrong suite. While I understand in many cases, you can still use them across Report Suites, it means losing track of them when searching and in the case of Workspaces, data is changing without my noticing, resulting in client questions about accuracy of a report.
If I create a calculated metric, I get a preview of the trend like this: I want the same in segment builder, a line for views, visits and visitors. Perhaps a toggle, dual axis, or normalised view would be necessary. I want it because it will help me understand the data I'm including in the segment I have defined. I also want it because of the sequential features in segments. Often I will just pull out a trend in a report with the segment overlaid to see what I'm including in the report. To have this in segment builder would save so much time. It would also help us to understand the new "before/after sequence" settings.
We currently have over 1500 users globally on Adobe Analytics globally across every time zone, we have a limited number of admins to control the set up of Adobe Analytics. We have found that a feature that would be useful would be if we can set up a super user group, that can share to groups, create groups without having to be an admin.I have never had an issue with this before but when managing a global implementation this presents as a blocker.
Adobe CampaignUse Case: Our business has departments and business functions using ACS with their own "Brand Instance" within ACS. Example: Sub brands of our company who send visitors via email to one or more websites we own. We have separated report suites within Adobe Analytics for our sub brands and our various websites/apps. We would like to send our ACS data into their corresponding report suite relevant to their website and/or sub brand.Issue: Currently the new Adobe Campaign Standard integration with Adobe Analytics brings all campaign data into the selected Adobe Analytics report suite, not just specific "Brand instances" or "Programs".Feature/Idea Request: Allow for more ability when setting up the ACS and Adobe Analytics integration to filter for specific data based on all or most of the variables available in ACS (brand, delivery, program, etc). This would allow us to provide email metrics and data in Adobe Analytics per report suite that is relevant to the website or sub br
You can create a set date range from the left hand panel (purple tiles). It would be great if we could create this set date range from the date selector in the top right hand corner by right clicking. (We can right click on so many elements except the date selector) I find exploring data around date ranges happens by using the top right hand date selector. But exploring gets tedious when having to re-create a set date range (that you have already selected) in the bottom left hand corner.
