Hi Team,Adobe Analytics answer what has happened or what is happening. Could we have forecasting feature in Analytic which can answer the question: what will happen? For e.g. Predicting what would be sales 1 or 2 or "X" periods down the lane. We can build models from already available data in Analytics like recency (days since last visit), frequency (number of times visited) and monetary value (revenue).
Adobe:In administrating and managing AA at my company, it would be useful if we had an ability to download listings of "Scheduled Reports", Data Warehouse Reports, as well as being able to download lists from all other Admin pages. In some locations within Adobe Analytics, we are offered an opportunity to "Export to *.csv format" - I would like to see this ability everyplace - one example of a place I would like to see this would be within the "Scheduled Report Manager." One example of a place where this already exists is within Admin > Analytics Users and Assets - placing a check mark in the box at the top of the column on the far let checks all boxes and makes "Export to csv" available. I would like to see this function everyplace.Thank You,Bill MenichilloDow Jones
It's great that the Data Feed tool has access to rerun jobs. But, It would be even better if we could add to the Data Feed API the option to resend failed jobs. That would help the workflow tremendously.
Currently if you drag a segment A into another segment B in the builder it will just copy it in i.e. it rebuilds A in B. This means if you change the original segment A it won't update in B.What would be great is if you could drag a segment into another segment in a similar way to how a calculated metric works. This means you only need to maintain the original A segment as it will feed through into any other segments that reference it.
I'd like to propose a new variable that is used to capture both pageviews and actions. I've always done this as a best practice in my implementations, but started to think it wasn't necessary now that dimensions and dimension types can be mixed in Workspace pathing. For example, I can start with Page, select a page, then drag in Custom Link, select a link value, drag in page, etc. This type of analysis is done often in the app world, but makes just as much sense in web analysis too. However, that example is not a replacement for a single variable that captures everything. One big reason is that the above bold example assumes there is a custom link in between each page view. There may not be - a pageview could take place immediately following a pageview - and that path would be ignored from the visualization.A similarly big reason is that two non-pageview links in a row also wouldn't be represented in the bold example. And finally, if the user happened to download a file in between thos
Adobe is a global company, offering its products around the world. The expectation is that the tools work also in non-English environments. There are several issues where functions do not work as designed due to lack of language support (or foreign language testing), especially in ReportBuilder.I am not talking about translation issues or missing languages (all our reporting and also Adobe UI settings are in English), but there are issues if the Windows client and/or UI is not English. For example, the "segment segment from cell" script does not work if the OS is German (even if Excel UI and ReportBuilder UI are English). My suggestion: Adobe, please test your tools in non-English UI environments before rolling it out to the customer.
Hi guys,Background:People using Virtual Report Suite Report suite get the "Component may not appear" alert every time they try to save a new segment / metric / date range which is not centrally added to VRS by the team supporting the implementation.Acceptance criteria:In many other alerts Adobe displays "do not show me this alert anymore", therefore we would appreciate the tick box under the given alert which will allow to not show the alert again. Many thanks for your support on that,Best regards,Jakub
Example: In AA, I am only able to see the variable name, but not if it is a prop or evar.AA: Adhoc, which clearly states if thi is an evar or a prop.Asking since AA will be sunset eventually.
I very much like the graphic element within site analysis especially since it makes executive presentations more intuitive.Given this, could you add a feature that would allow animation of this over time? For example, if we were viewing traffic and made a change, we could see how the traffic pattern shifted as the changes were instituted. As our ad campaigns ran, we could monitor new traffic patterns. We could graphically depict how a Target experience influenced the visitor path with the end result updating as tests ran. If a technical issue arose, we could visualize this through the issue. The software would enable an export to run in PowerPoint or on a web site.
Hi, Currently in Adobe, we use a few calculated metrics that rely on averages. We use arithmetic mean when calculating Average Order Value(Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Orders) and Average Selling Price (Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Units). Unfortunately, when applying these calculated metrics to a smaller population or segmented data set in Adobe Analytics, the mean does not account for outliers. It would be nice if calculated metrics had a harmonic mean function.
The idea is a new function within the User Management console to disallow a groupof users from being able to export data, download CSVs or PDFs, and generally just exclude them from pushing data out of Adobe Analytics into any other platform. i only want these users to see the data and not download it
It would be superduper if we could select the delimiters for our reports in Data Warehouse. We are automatically importing that data into a database here, and have run into a problem with the comma delimiter because some of our data has come across with commas in it. Would be nice to be able to change the delimiter to a pipe rather than have to go back and recode the data going into our variable.
Currently, the Analysis Workspace auto-generated conditional formatting feature doesn't work very well. If you have a large date range with various metrics, it doesn't dynamically change or adjust to changes. Often times you have to use the manual feature to sett upper and lower bounds.I'd like to see this feature work better so you can make changes and have the color schemes change dynamically. If that isn't possible, I'd like to have the ability to set the upper and lower bounds by using a formula that uses the same functions already available in Analysis Workspace.
I love the customize calendar feature for a report suite but it doesn't work correctly with our fiscal calendar. We use a modified gregorian calendar but the end of our calendar year is a year forward. Can you please add the ability to select what the year should be for starting. Example:Our fiscal year starts in March. So calendar March 2019 is month 1 of fiscal year 2020. If I use the modified gregorian calendar option today and select first month of year as March. The reports are one year behind. (Example: calendar February 2019 is fiscal year 2018 (correct should be: fiscal 2019) and calendar March 2019 is fiscal 2019 (correct should be: fiscal 2020). Solution:If you add a drown down option to select, year forward or year backward that would allow people to adjust based on their specific calendar. I would be surprised if people haven't had issues with this in the past.
I would like the Workspace to include the line breaks we have made in our descriptions on the variables (evar, prop and events)In Admin i can make a description like this:I make the line break for a reason. It makes it easier to read. But in Workspace it look like this.
I noticed a major privacy problem with API 2.0 while testing out the possibilities of restricted permissions for normal users:Using the command https://analytics.adobe.io/api/[mycompany]/users?limit=[XX] a normal user can get a list of all users in a given organization. This may pose a privacy issue as a normal user should not be able to see the usernames, admin status, email, first & last name, phone number, and title. Those are highly personalized information on any given user. Usually, I would think that only admins can get access to this information. Even though a "normal" user has no writing rights to manage, change or create users this is still a problem.Client Care says that the function is working as intended but this feature should not be an intended function for API 2.0. Please change this so that only admins can use this function and normal users only get information on their own account with https://analytics.adobe.io/api/[mycompany]/users/me.
When I create a new Marketing Cloud user in the Admin console (for Analytics or Target, for example), the welcome email they received doesn't indicate what their username/login is, needed for when they try to log in and if they are logging into from a browser other than that the welcome email link resolves to, and needed for password resets. Also, the email doesn't indicate what kind of ID type they have: Adobe ID or Enterprise ID. My organization currently uses both for Adobe products (Marketing Cloud and Creative Cloud, respectively). Currently, I have to set solution permissions as a separate step in the user creation process, but I also have additional work when creating a user because I have to trouble-shoot with the user after they receive the "Welcome email" to resolve why they could log in initially with no password (yes, clicking on the welcome email link brings them directly into the solution with no password and logging in), but have been unable to log in subsequently, creat
It would be very useful having the option of updating an existing scheduled datawarehouse report instead of creating a new one by duplicating an existing one.
by default, every user group with "web service access" has full admin rights on the selected report suites. there is no way to reduce the permissions to "read-only" on report suite settings.improvement:the "web service access" should only trigger, if a user group is allowed to use the API credentials. the single permissions to read/edit/delete anything within report suites should be based on other permissions (eg. the existing options for user management)
Hello,I would like for SAINT Classifications (both lookups and rules) to be available in the Power BI Desktop connector.-Nick
It would be really great if we had the ability to schedule FTP Export classfiication files. We get new values all the time in our reports. We have to request and wait for reports to be ready. It would be great if we could schedule these requests. I know there is an API, but we dont necessarily have the skillset to build these applications.
Does anybody know if it's possible to select the number of rows you want when you make a breakdown in Workspace? For example, I have 400 rows from a prop and I need to breakdown using another one, but I need 25 rows for every item (from the 400 rows). By default it's five, I think. It's really annoying to do do it one by one.Any advice?Thank you so much
Hello Adobe,Please create a way for individual users to be able to set a default report suite or their Reports, Workspaces, etc. It would also be good for admins to have the capability to set a company-wide default report suite. Thanks for considering,Tracy G
DB Vista is one of the most under-utilized features of Adobe Analytics because it requires working through Adobe's Engineering Services. I would like to see a version of DB Vista that is available to administrators as a self-service instead. Just as Data Feeds used to require Engineering Services, but now is self-service, so too could DB Vista. I have found that Data Feeds is used much more now that it is more accessible. I think the same would be true for DB Vista.I also think that this would help enable this tangentially related idea: relational data for processing rules
Often, one realizes that a calculation would be helpful while constructing a workspace. It would be helpful to be able to select items already placed in the workspace and add in operators to create a calculated metric on the fly.-- as opposed to having to find and place those same elements inside the calculated metric creation popup. We can select something and automatically create a segment. This would be similar to that experience.
