If you have a Workspace project that uses the same segment/dimension in multiple dropdown areas or within visualizations itself (i.e. Columns in a Freeform table), it would be cool if you could choose to manually "link" them such that if you change one, any "linked" versions of that would also change. For example, let's say that you have many visualizations in a project and you have chosen to filter based upon Page = Home via a dimension. Now you want to change the focus page from Home Page to Cart Page. Today, unless you are able to use the dropdown area at the top for all items (which is not always possible), you have to manually change all of the individual cases where you have segmented/filtered by Page = Home.It would be great if when building the tables, you could check a box to link the segment/filter to a master one such that changing that one changes all linked ones. This is similar to setting a cell equal to another cell in MS Excel to make the two dynamic.
When I make Segment in Segment Builder, I would like to search “Template Segment from Adobe”.However I can’t. Because “Template segment from Adobe” don’t ’ have any Tag…If “Template Segment from adobe” have tag, it is good. Or If “Template Segment from adobe” have “preset” (for example : “AdobeTemp”) it is also good.
Currently, reporting on A4T redirect tests are counted accurately (from a visits and bounce rate perspective) within the one report suite you chose when setting up your Target activity. However, if you have a global report suite for example, which combines numerous report suites, this data would not be counted accurately. Not only do you not see Target Experiences or Target Activities under this other report suite, but it DOES NOT count visits and bounce correctly. For example, if I run a redirect in Canada, and I choose the Canadian report suite, my visits and bounce rate show accurate numbers, i.e. the first page that a visitor gets redirected from DOES NOT show up as a visit, and only the redirected visit shows up. However, if I pull visits and bounce rate on these two pages in a Global Report Suite, the original page AND redirected page both show a visit, therefore the visits for that market are inflated, and bounce rate is incorrectly reduced. My suggestion for a feature update is
We have a few marketing partners requests this integration: https://support.google.com/searchads/answer/7669521?hl=en&ref_topic=7670432Would love to see this built out in Data Connectors for easier setup and management.
Hi Adobe Team,I want to submit a product requirement (Fallout report by dimension) which I believe would be a great help for lots of customers. At present we view reports / fallout report at overall level or segmented level but if we have to compare across multiple values in a dimension (e.g., Multiple values in Operating System dimension) then we have to create multiple segment which is quite slow and error prone. Having a feature in which we can add dimension as a column header (just like pivot) will greatly ease the usage. Regards,Himanshu
Ascena, the parent of Ann Taylor has added Box Accounts (similar to DropBox) as the preferred way to receive scheduled reports. Can Adobe add this to its product lines, especially Analytics.Tom PonosukAnalytics Lead, Ann Taylor, LOFT, Lou and Grey (Ann Inc, division of Ascena)
Filtering is pain, especially in Analysis Workspace, where there aren't regex options. It would be great to be able to handle filtering at the segment level. I propose adding a new container option called 'filter' or similar. This would do exactly what it says. Only show you data for items filtered within the segment. Because we have so many products and product categories on our site we are reliant on combinations of segments and dimension components to get the views we need. Having a segment that filters for you would save a lot of time and effort in building workspaces. We try to build templated workspaces where all that needs to be replaced is the segment. however, because we have to rely on the filter or a dimension value, we must take more steps to design the report.Michael
In Segment Manager and Calculated Metrics Manager, Adobe offers the possibility to approve metrics. However the approved metrics are not highlighted in anyway when using Workspace.E.g. if I have 2 calculated metrics with similar names, an icon to highlight the approved one would give users confidence that they are using the correct version.@
Now that Analysis Workspace includes "copy to clipboard" and "show only selected rows" functionality as options in the right click menu, I think it would make sense to add another option to create and/or add to already existing filters from resulting dimensions/row items in a Freeform Table. For example, if I created a Pages report with a number of filters already applied, but I was still seeing a few pages that needed to be excluded, it would be great to be able to just right click on the resulting row(s) and select exclude selection (or filter by selection to zoom in on that item) without having to open the filter dialogue.Selecting the "Create filter from selection menu" item from the menu could open to a sub-menu with several more options, but below are two as an example (exclude and focus):Choosing one of the sub-menu options would then reload the newly filtered report. This would be super helpful if you needed to whittle down to specific item/s from a larger list ON THE FLY,
I would like the option to bulk delete users from Adobe Analytics, even if they have bookmarks or saved dataThe interface should offer the option, but ask me if I would like to accept the risk of doing so with some promptsCurrently the option is not offered, which I think is very time inefficient on my end to manually delete each user one by one
Feature request for a product syntax segment. Basically when you fire multiple products in a single hit and those products have product syntax variables, you can't use them in segments. Any hit level segment captures the entire hit, not just the specific product syntax value you're looking for. For example, if you have one order with three products (two new, one used) and each new item is $11 and the used is $6, let's assume you're setting the condition as a product syntax variable. For the first two the value is "new" and the third is "used". If you build a hit level segment where this variable equals "used", you'll see $28 instead of $6 since all three products were set in the same hit.
Lets say I have two metrics I like (Visits and Conversion Rate), and I frequently look at them by 'Visit Number', 'Marketing Channel', 'Products'. Yes, I should just make a dashboard and be done with it. However, I would love the ability to have the following workflow.1. Add metrics to a table. (in my example, I am thinking about adding them as columns/on top)2. Grab multiple dimensions and drop it on the the table.3. After the above action is taken, workspace would automatically create multiple freeform tables based on the number of dimensions dropped on the table. Here are some use cases for this:1. Faster dashboard creation.2. Faster analysis.3. Admins, Analysts, New Users want to quickly see what values are showing up in each report/dimension.4. Analysts can quickly grab important (favorited/tagged) dimensions and create a view very quickly.I think admins and analysts would find this feature particularly helpful and i believe it would make working in analysis workspace that much b
Some versions of Regex include a "\L" syntax that allows a string to be forced to lowercase. This would be really useful as at the moment the classification that is created reflects the case of the original input - which can lead to messy looking values in reports. For example... Input value:website.com/PROMotion RegEx:^(.+)(\/.+)$ Mapping rule:$2 Results in:"/PROMotion" appearing in the report, where as I would prefer "/promotion" to appear in the report Note: this is about the output, not the matching criteria - aware we can already do case insensitive matching
Hi, Currently in Adobe, we use a few calculated metrics that rely on averages. We use arithmetic mean when calculating Average Order Value(Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Orders) and Average Selling Price (Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Units). Unfortunately, when applying these calculated metrics to a smaller population or segmented data set in Adobe Analytics, the mean does not account for outliers. It would be nice if calculated metrics had a harmonic mean function.
It would be really great if we had the ability to schedule FTP Export classfiication files. We get new values all the time in our reports. We have to request and wait for reports to be ready. It would be great if we could schedule these requests. I know there is an API, but we dont necessarily have the skillset to build these applications.
Especially with the push towards virtual report suites, it seems increasingly useful/necessary to have a way to convert currency from what the originally-specified currency code for a report suite is set as. Although virtual report suites allow the user to change the time zone, it does not allow you to change the currency code for revenue reporting. I think the better solution than updating the currency code at the VRS level may even be to just have standard revenue metrics with the conversion rates built in. My company, for one, has groups of stakeholders that often look at UK/EU properties together, but the employees may prefer either GBP or EUR for their reporting. It would be great to allow them the flexibility of reporting in whichever currency they wish regardless of the report suite settings.
In case bugs happen on the web page events and variables in Adobe can be affected, especially with "wrong" data. As an example: you are measuring error events for a webpage component and due to a bug all events are fired 10x instead of once. In all reports this massive spike is now messing up averages, etc You could deal with that by using filters, but the more users have acces to the raw data the harder this is as you can't enforce segments or filters to all users. You could also set calendar events, but those only show up in charts, not in tabular analysis. Therefore we need the capability of deleting data from individual evars and props for selected time frames.
In Adobe SC, there should also be option to schedule the dashboards quarterly. We are sending 100+ dashboards quarterly but all that is manual effort to do so and this takes a lot of time every quarter.
This used to be available in the previous "Billing" tool but the new Server Call Usage report doesn't seem to let you trend over time. I don't don't see where to change the date range unless I go back to Reports.
As noted in this forum thread: Calculated Metrics for Cohort Analysis The specific use case I had was that I wanted to do a cohort analysis based on visitors that had viewed a specific piece of content. Ideally:A segment for visits that viewed that contentThat segment used in a calculated metric -- just the segment and then Visits as the metricThat calculated metric as my inclusion metricAlas! Not doable. So, it winds up being painful DW exports and stitching together of visitor IDs.-Tim Wilson
I very much like the graphic element within site analysis especially since it makes executive presentations more intuitive.Given this, could you add a feature that would allow animation of this over time? For example, if we were viewing traffic and made a change, we could see how the traffic pattern shifted as the changes were instituted. As our ad campaigns ran, we could monitor new traffic patterns. We could graphically depict how a Target experience influenced the visitor path with the end result updating as tests ran. If a technical issue arose, we could visualize this through the issue. The software would enable an export to run in PowerPoint or on a web site.
Currently, date ranges builder under components does not allow users to select non-sequential dates/months/years to create a date range. It would be great to have the ability to select the non-sequential date ranges to create the desired date range for a specific purpose. some examples.Ability to select random days in a month. eg. 1, 7, 21 & 30 day of the month. (Movies releases schedule)Ability to select random weeks. eg. 1st & 3rd week of the month. (Broadway weekly discounts) Ability to select random months. eg. January, April, July, October (First month of each quarter) Ability to select random years. eg. 2015, 2017, 2019 (Year of textbook adoption in the selected state)Ability to select calendar by columns. eg. all Mondays in a month.Ability to select week vs weekend in a month or selected time range. (Have another idea based on this ability)Thanks!
I would like a option to see the maintenance time information based on my own timezone. Or as a minimum it should show what timezone it is based on.
IDEA: Allow me to filter via segments on A4T Target Activities in a Workspace project.Currently, when using A4T in Analytics, if you try to filter an entire Workspace project/panel using "Target Activities" it doesn't work, as visitors can be in more than one test at the same time. If you have a freeform table which includes the dimension "Target Activities" then you can filter that for a specific phrase, but if you are looking at other data related to the test and not specifically using the "Target Activities" dimension then you can only look at all activity. In theory the A4T Target information seems to act like a list var (i.e. you can have multiple values in a single hit) and its possible to segment/filter on list vars in Analytics.USE CASE: I want to create a project that allows me to see the aggregated performance and uplift of all Product X tests on a month by month basis.(May also be related to this idea: Target Activity Impressions in Segment builder )
The idea is a new function within the User Management console to disallow a groupof users from being able to export data, download CSVs or PDFs, and generally just exclude them from pushing data out of Adobe Analytics into any other platform. i only want these users to see the data and not download it
