Have the ability to create a list of static data for a set of dimension results, so this data could be used as a vlookup-type reference. For example, set hard goals for each author and then be able to track performance against the goal by having a list of author names and the goal.
Hello,When I make a bar chart and I want to compare 2 days split in hours it is not possible to get more than 19 items. I need to seet 24 items for 24 hours in a day. In the visualization settings, there is a limitation for the step "Limit Max Items". Would it be possible to increase this limitation ?Thank you.
I would like for my scheduled projects to appear in the email body, like the scheduled reports from reports and analytics do.Current Workspace delivery optionsCurrent Reports and Analytics delivery options:
There should be log files for actions in the Adobe Admin Console, with a possibility to see:when someone did a change in Admin Console (adding users, removing them, adding permission groups, changing permissions, etc.)who did it (also including automated changes, e.g. via user authorization tools)Also, it should be possible for System Admins to subscribe to the logfiles or set up certain alert rules to be immediately informed about critical changes (e.g. another Admin being removed, new external users, alarming amount of users added/deleted...).
Wouldn't it be great if we had something similar to the "log" inside the Adobe Analytics Admin console, just with an overview of where the different evars, events and props where used, for any custom report that is built inside report builder, data warehouse requests, Workspace and which calculated metrics etc. It could be either a search functionality or a request that could be downloaded with a specific timeframe, just like in data warehouse. This would make it easier for people to see if the data is used or if it's just sitting there for no obvious reason (especially when going through implementation).
Adobe captures a session timestamp. That timestamp, at present, is not surfaceable in processing rules. Understandable becauuse processing rules do not have regex or parsing capabilities. However, the atoms of that session timestamp, and associated metadata, are very valuable to a researcher. These include: "As a researcher, I want to cross the HH:MM with a video name so that I can calculate an AMA.""As a researcher, I want to cross the day of the week with a pagename so that I can compare Monday traffic patterns to Sunday traffic patterns in aggregate.""As a researcher, I want to cross HH:MM with timezone with a video so that I can understand how timeparting and timezones affects AMA." If specific components of the timestamp could be surfaced in processing rules, multiple timeparting features could be enabled. (The implementor would assign that data to specific variables to taste). A concrete example: a.hour : expected value 00, 01, 02, 03 ... 22, 23a.minute: expected value 00...59a.
Currently, on a single page app, my first beacon will have the correct URL. But if I navigate to another page, and there is a history/state/URL change without loading a new DOM, my URL does NOT update- my "g" parameter in my beacon still reflects the first page loaded. These days, most single page apps DO update the URL as the user navigates around; it would be good to have that URL reflected in analytics. I often manually force this by doing something like "s.pageURL=document.location.href" in doPlugins or similar, but it would be great to have it be built in- folks get confused when they see my workaround because they think "isn't that what pageURL is automatically?" (answer: not on a single page app).
Currently the printer-friendly options for Workspace are horrendous - the PDF always displays as a single page, regardless of project length. And I get this is partially because the full breadth of features are in visiting the page, but not all of our clients have the user capacity to create a new login for every person to whom they want to distribute this information.Idea is two-fold:- Create a "Page Break" option/feature so reports can be more easily designed for printing of the reportAND- Create Workspaces that can be viewed by anyone with a link (not required to use a login or allow logins that don't count against total users)It severely limits the usability of Workspace in the current format, as our clients have to budget when they can actually use it and many end-users of the data still prefer physical documents in front of them.
The mobile device reports all show the version of a device (ie Samsung Galaxy, Verizon Galaxy) for everything but Apple devices. This needs fixed. Currently the only way to break down by screen resolution and even that isn't very helpful.
Managing segments across requests had been a huge time saver fo us. Can we get something similar for managing metrics? I see the potential issues as adding metrics will increment either rows or columns to the request.. I assume there could be a check if the action to add metrics will cause overlapping requests.
Telecom Customer needs an export of all Analytics Segments and Definitions. Currently there is not a way to do this from the Analytics UI.Feature Request. Export Analytics Segments and Definitions from UI.
Hi All,After working with non -Analytics people and showing them Adobe reports I realized that they need to really dig in to understand report metrics. They are overwhelmed by stacked segments and metrics. What I was thinking, why dont we create labels by combining segments and Metrics. This idea came to me after seeing that we can rename Legends in WS graphs to simpler ones.Imagine this as the modular switches we use at homes. When a switch is fixed we see screws gaps and boxes. These bare screws are like the segments and metric that we stack on each other. Then we put a cover on them to give a clean look. This cover would be the new label that I am suggesting. In the background everything remains same.Example:Current structure : Multiple segments and metrics that make it confusing.(cant show any data due to privacy)Suggested Labels:I am suggesting that is it possible that we just select a metric and a segment or segments and then right click. There can be an option Create Label > E
I've created a time period column from the context menu for "These 6 weeks last year" - p.s. thanks for this feature! So useful. When I try to create a metric based on my selection, and ask for percent change, what I really want is for each day to be compared against each other e.g. Feb 4th 2018 vs Feb 5th 2017 (current day vs current day -364).What I actually get, are visits for Feb 4th 2018 vs the entire 6 week date range, and it breaks my workspace by forcing the date range to start at Feb 5th 2017:This create metric from selection can be a lot smarter by contextually comparing the data based on the granularity selected e.g. day vs same day last year, week vs same week last year, so on.Being able to visualise a trended year on year line like that by simply creating a percent change metric like this would be awesome.p.s. has the feature to "compare time range", which appeared under the "add time range", and automatically created a percent change column, been removed?
It seems that more time is invested in Virtual Report Suites (VRS).It would be nice to be able to set up a VRS with a customized calendar to mimic fiscal patterns or mon-sun weeks. Basically the option you have right now within the report suite settings but then through a VRS and (if possible) retroactively.
So the idea of Attribution IQ is market leading, ingenious, great, fantastic, we love it BUT it's really annoying not being able to use calculated metrics directly in Workspace. I know you can create a new calculated metric with a model applied but you can't use a calculated metric in the Attribution IQ panel or apply a model on the fly to a calculated metric in your workspace.JenteDR - not sure if this helps with the question you'd asked in the forum.
In an organisation that is trying to centrally manage and curate workspaces and components, being able to understand and manage who components are shared with is key.Unfortunately, the tool does not current help us do this....With the segment and calculated metric manager there is a column called 'Shared with'. However, it is impossible to filter on this column (in fact you can't even sort by it!)Please can you considered allow us to filter by the 'shared with' column in a similar way to which you can current filter by the 'owner' column? This would be a great help in our management of components
Component For the following menu,The search is not "string" but "character".I want you to improve it to be able to search by "string".▼exampleIf you search for "test1"▽Current Search resulttest1test_1test-1▽Search result in improvement requesttest1
Often times when I am building segments and calculated metrics, it would be helpful to be able to freeze the top portion of the builder window so I don't' have to keep scrolling up and down. For example, when building a segment, as you change the segment definition, it is nice to be able to see the impact at the top-right on the segment potential audience. Unfortunately, today, you have to make a change and then scroll. The same is true for large calculated metrics where you cannot see the top portion. It would be cool if you could check a box to freeze the top part or just have that be default behavior...
For example, on rubular.com using the regular expression /TestString/i matches teststring and TestString and TeSTstriNG Would also like to have \L lowercase regex replacements in an Adobe Classification Rule Builder rule. For example, match $1 and lowercase it.http://www.regular-expressions.info/replacecase.html
If i am using a freeform table with my metrics on the top and the time range on the i can create a new time range to allow me to see metrics for specific periods. This is great for reports but can be time consuming when analysing data and i want to quickly check different ranges or want to quickly extract a number. It also clutters up the time menu with lots of random ranges i've created. It would be good if there was a report time frame which is whatever the date is set to in the top right of the panel. I can do this currently with the Year time frame and the date range is within the same year but as soon as you cross over a year you lose the total.
Often we use the report filters in order to filter out specific groups of items in a freeform table, however applying this filter does not have any impact on the figure shown in the column total. The column total accounts for all item totals including those not included in any eventual filters. We have use cases with many of our users where it would be more useful for them for this total to be a subtotal (i.e. total of only items that are included in the filter).Could this be an option to include in the column total options? I.e. display as subtotal rather than total.
I'd like to use more often the Visualisation type "Text" - however, I'd see a lot more benefit if it was possible to use image content.Cheers/sandro
With the release of Processing Rules where all Admins have the ability to leverage processing rules to increase their data accuracy and completeness, it would extremely helpful if we added Events to the line item conditions.Use Case - We currently have a DTM Javascript heavy based implementation of Adobe Analytics and have been working with our IT department to reduce the size of both the JS files (DTM's satelliteLib and AA's s_code) as well as reduce the size of the client side beacon calls / hits to the Adobe servers.we are looking for ways to achieve these size reduces without sacrificing our tracking / metrics capabilities. so we thought processing Rules would be a great place to start, as we can set our metrics and define our props/evars based on the end user's URL and the Defined Page Name.Since this is a migration strategy and not a new install, we have to use conditions like set prop14 = name when prop14 is not set. which means processing rules are simply filling in the gaps
For workspace projects that are built around a specific use case, e.g. the detailed analysis of a specific site feature, it'd be extremely helpful if we could upload a screenshot/image and place it next to our visualizations to provide context and better tell the story with data.
We have 38 actively used report suites. Classifications require back end div IDs to be aligned across all 38 in order to create a classification on a variable. When one report suite is misaligned, there is no way to easily identify which report suite is misaligned or to update all report suites with new classification or div values at the same time. You would need to manually click through all report suites to identify the delta, delete, and realign. ALL manually.Occasionally as well, you may have a report suite with the same friendly named classifications, but the back end div IDs could be out of sync depending on how they were created in the past. There is no way to see the div IDs in the client facing UI to know which one is misaligned. Again, the only way to correct this is to delete all classifications in all report suites and start over. I would LOVE to see new functionality in this area of the admin UI. Something similar to processing rules where you can work in one report su
