AEM Test Planning by Adobe Docs Abstract Before You Start Before you start with the actual analysis and definition of tests review the following information: AEM Architecture - See Basic Concepts to introduce yourself to the architecture and basic principles of AEM. Documentation - See any of the documentation sections, or How To articles, for further information. Basic Principles of Testing - You should be aware of the basic principles of Software Testing and Quality Assurance. Preferably you should have experience of testing projects. There are many websites, books and courses which deal with such principles and so they will not be dealt with in detail in this document. Assumptions to Avoid - The biggest assumption (made regularly) is that your website will need to service millions of requests every day. In certain circumstances this may be true, but it cannot be assumed. Although future numbers cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy, observing your existing site and the traff
Compiling your Test Plan by Adobe Docs Abstract The individual test cases will then be amalgamated into your Test Plan, which will also define: Priorities Certain tests will have more significance than others, so it is advisable to indicate their priority. For example, certain tests can affect a Go / No-Go decision, and therefore must be confirmed with every interim release tested. Iterations If your project uses any form of development iteration (involving multiple releases being made available) then you may need or want an indication of the results for each iteration. This can be used to indicate: which tests will be covered in which iteration. the results seen for tests repeated in various iterations. that priority tests and tests on basic features are repeated at regular intervals. Tester At some point you can assign either the appropriate test team, or a specific test person (possibly dependent on availability and/or experience). Summary or Overview For reporting purpose
Testing and Tracking Tools by Adobe Docs Abstract The following are two Open Source Testing tools: Selenium Selenium is used for function testing in a browser with one user per activity. It records testing steps (clicks) as either HTML tables or Java classes. For more information see https://www.seleniumhq.org/. JMeter JMeter is used to track requests and can be used for functional, performance and stress tests. For more information see https://jakarta.apache.org/jmeter/. There are also many proprietary tools for automating tests and managing test plans. Tracking The following tools are easily available. However a key issue in all cases is the availability of the data to all members of the project team - partner and customer. Bugzilla A bug-tracking system which can be configured to your own requirements. Spreadsheets Although not specifically a bug-tracking tool, spreadsheets are often misused for this purpose as they are easy to understand and most users have experience

Datafacts — An App Builder Application for Adobe Experience Platform by Jeff Chasin Abstract When we introduced App Builder last year, we highlighted advantages of this complete framework for building cloud native apps hosted on Adobe’s architecture. Enterprise developers need to customize Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform for their specific business use cases and workflows and App Builder makes that so much easier. App Builder enables developers to build custom web apps that extend the functionality of Platform and Experience Cloud solutions. If you’re not familiar, check out this brief article to learn the basics, or this deep dive video for more details. The power and flexibility of App Builder was on full display recently when Softcrylic, an Adobe Solution Partner, demonstrated their Datafacts App Builder application. Sundar Sritharan is Senior Director, Software Development and Testing at Softcrylic and the engineering lead for their Datafacts App Builder appl

This tutorial builds upon the WKND GraphQL App, a React app that consumes AEM Content Fragment content over AEM’s GraphQL APIs, however does not provide any in-context authoring of SPA content. About the tutorial The tutorial intended to illustrate how a Remote SPA, or a SPA running outside the context of AEM, can be updated to consume and deliver content authored in AEM. Most activities in the tutorial focus on JavaScript development, however critical aspects are covered that revolve around AEM. These aspects include defining where the content is authored and stored in AEM and mapping SPA routes to AEM Pages. The tutorial

Hello, I am trying to sync API keys between publish instances. I followed instructions from this blog post (replacing files in the file system)I was trying to avoid instance restart so I restarted bundle with curl commandsRestarted bundle: com.adobe.granite.crypto Unfortunately when I deployed my app with encrypted config values AEM could not decrypt properties on the fly. I had to restart the instance to fix the issue. Did something change on the latest AEM and made the restart required ? Or maybe there is some other bundles that should be restarted after key sync ? And another question - seems that replacing crypto keys is a part of almost every AEM project - is there official Adobe documentation on that matter ?

Hi allrecently I've been with various discussions with Adobe Support to solve an issue I've been facing in my company by getting DTM library blocked by the Content Security Policy. Finally, we were able to solve the problem (not through Adobe support) by updating the CSP header to include the following:"default-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' *.adobedtm.com *.sc.omtrdc.net; font-src 'self' data:; img-src 'self' data: *.sc.omtrdc.net;";I wanted to share this with you as Adobe didn't have any standards on how to deal with such a problem. And I'm hoping that Adobe get something documented ASAPmore details can be found here:https://content-security-policy.com/
