Hi  I have a componenet that has some dynamic content. And I don't want to dispatcher to cache this part.  So inspired by http://www.slideshare.net/netceteragroup/dynamic-components-using-singlepageapplication-concepts-in-aemcq-39532610 (Page 4), This is what I did, under apps/myapp/dynamicComponent, I have a two files, one is dynamicComponent.jsp and the other is dynamicComponent.dynamic.jsp, So in dynamicComponent.dynamic.jsp page, I have some JSP code to render the dynamic content. and in dynamicComponenet.jsp, I am using SSI to include this like this<div color="red">render this</div> <!--# include virtual="<%=currentNode.getPath().replace("jcr:content","_jcr_content")%>.dynamic.html" />So I decide to directly hit the page component link like this http://localhost:4505/content/myapp/mypage/_jcr_content/rightPar/dynamicComponent.dynamic.html page, and it didn't show me this red "render this" text, so apparently, it didn't render me anything.Can someone tell me

I am getting an unclosed session detected warning in the error.log . I have opened and closed all the sessions in the finally block. Still I am getting the warning. It has made the author instance very slow due to large number of unclosed session . Hi,I have a shell script running on AEM server which uploads assets from a shared drive to AEM (6.0 SP2) over regular interval. Hi Guys,We are in between a asset migration where we are using webdav tool(bitkinnex) to migrate assets to AEM author server(AEM 5.6.1). We have migrated around 11 Gigs of assets until now and as obvious there are lot of workflows are being trigged in background.But the issue we are facing over here is although we have stopped the migration before 1 day but still the back-end workflows are running and some times the AEM is going down. Below is my AEM start up configuration.CQ_JVM_OPTS='-server -Xmx2048M -XX:PermSize=256M -XX:MaxPermSize=1024M -Djava.awt.headless=true  -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError Server details :- quad core processor, 10GB RAMSo need yours valuable input on this.

Hello Experts !I have a silly question to ask.We have java 1.6 running in prod environment with AEM 6.0 SP2 and after a maintenance activity (java upgrade) system admin has started AEM with Java 1.7 version. I know AEM 6.0 SP2 is compatible with Java 6 and & 7 both but was wondering if there could be any other impact of it.Please suggest.~TD

I need to extend the foundation reference component. All I need to add is an additional <icon> element above the normal content so that the authors know it's a reference and not a regular component. Is there a way to do that without including the foundation component in the custom reference component? Javascript is not a viable solution either. CQ. 5.6.1Thanks

I am new to CQ5 and learning it. When I try to rollout a live copy from a blueprint page; the actions are create,update,full update, partial update and 'No action' . I would want to know when does a user get 'No action' option.I rolled out a live copy from a blueprint page and then deleted the blueprint page and then deleted the live copy page as well. After that; if I create the blueprint page with the same name again and try to roll it out; I am getting a 'No action' and not create.Even if I delete the live copy page and then try to to roll it out again; it does not show the action as 'create'. It display 'No action'Is this a bug in AEM 5.6.1?

We are in the process of converting our components dialogs to the new touchUI.  Some widget have direct equivalence in the new framework, but we're scratching our head for a few of them, namely the tag picker. Is there something OOTB we can use? or should we code it from scratch?Thank you.

The new collaboration apis has been repackaged from com.day.cq.collab to  com.adobe.cq.social  and is located at the adobe maven repo https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/com/adobe/cq/social.When I started using the social calendar https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/com/adobe/cq/social/cq-social-calendar/1.2.19   version 1.2.19 maven build erred saying the socialcommunities-parent  (version 1.1.55) is not available at the repo. So if we navigate to  https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/com/adobe/cq/social/socialcommunities-parent we saw no version greater than 1.0.8 is available.Any responsible developer, could you please upload those missing poms in the repo?

In a page template I'm loading in a component to show content related to the page the user is on. I'm loading in the resource in sightly like:<div data-sly-resource="${'related' @ resourceType='/apps/newsadmin/components/newsList'}"></div>The issue im running into is when I want to edit some settings on this component, the dialog fails to load, and a 400 (bad request) message appears in the console. I believe this is because /jcr:content/related does not exist on my repository, so it is unable to load settings in cq:dialog.htmlI'm not sure how to proceed, as I haven't run into this yet. I suppose I can programmatically create the "related" node, but if there's some other solution I'd like to go with that.

Hello,I have a simple navigation with some menu items and submenus.On click of any of the navigation items ,it should redirect to the corresponding page.However,our requirement is not to render the entire page each time,but only the main content area should change.The header,footer and navigation should not be rendered eachtime.I tried redirecting it to the paragraph node on click example  /content/appname/pagename/jcr:content/par but this gives an error at the webserver - ForbiddenCannot serve request to /content/appname/pagename/jcr:content/par on this serverIs there any setting that I am missing or is there any other way to achieve this.
