Hi,    How to get the list of inbuild objets/variables like out,properties, resource etc from global.jsp. Hi,We have been managing digital asset using DAM .Please suggest best practice to export/import packages  from one environment to another environment when pkg size is larger.When ever  we have to upload new bunch of assets we are now building in one environment and uploading in higher environment which is very much time consuming though package size is keep on increasing.currently we are doing this process from package manager. Regards,Patty.

Hi all,I am working with an AEM setup running multiple sites. Lets call them "Site A" and "Site B". There are multiple Groups within the organization. Lets call them "Group 1" and "Group 2". Within the organization people are assigned to a group and a site. An individual might belong to "Site B" and "Group 1".The workflow wants to target specific Groups. Example: Step 1 goes to Group 1 for approval, then Step 2 goes to Group 2 and then finally gets activated. The desire is when workflows get started for content on Site A, Step 1 only goes to people belonging to both "Site A" and "Group 1".I am trying to avoid having to manage "Site A - Group 1" groups within AEM for management reasons.In looking at the Workflow implementation they need to be assigned to a specific principal. That seems to rule out the possibility of dynamically pulling the list of people in both groups.My best idea is to have a dynamic participant step chooser that, base on the payload, would populate a group like "Sit

I've created an OSGI component to be used in my application. I also want to control the values in the component using run modes.I would like to know how to create the xml representation of the OSGI component that is placed in the JCR inside specific run mode folders.As soon as the component is activated there is a file created under /apps/system/config but this is not an xml representation.Where can I get the xml version of the component or is there any way to create the xml representation of the component?Appreciate all leads.

As our team migrates toward a Continuous Delivery model (wherein we deploy our continuous integration branch to production several times a day), we find ourselves pushing code for features that pass all of our tests and criteria, but still aren't quite ready for prime time. As a simple example, let's say we're working on a new component, and we're half-way through its development. Does Apache Sling provide functionality for more complex selectors? I need to be able to select nodes with certain child properties as well as get the first child of a given node. I was hoping there would be some ability to query based on the XPath, but this doesn't seem possible using the REST framework.

Getting the error in publish instance for a page Error:org.apache.sling.servlets.resolver.internal.SlingServletResolver Original error null com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.WCMComponentFilter Requested page is not valid: <content path>org.apache.sling.servlets.resolver.internal.SlingServletResolver Calling the error handler resulted in an error org.apache.sling.api.scripting.ScriptEvaluationException: same page opens properly in author instance.Checked all the properties and everything looks good. Pages never loads and in the browser getting the error as too many redirects (tried to delete the browser cache but did not help).Please help to find out the cause for an issue. Thanks in advance

We have just created a new library of assets in AEM 6.0.  I have uploaded a set of images to act as folder images, but while the images are crisp and clear individually, when they are used as a folder preview, they are blurry.  Any thoughts as to why?  Adjusting the resolution of the image does not seem to make a difference.

I am trying to run server side unit testing as advised in the advance developer guide.I am able to see my Test class under the URL" http://localhost:4502/system/sling/junit/tset.com.test.TestableClassTest.html " when I execute the test case by clickling execute Tests, I get null pointer exception.This is because repository is not getting injected, isnt that the purpose of server side testing so that we dont have to mock these osgi provided objects?Please refer to the screenshot provided.

Hi,We have a custom staticreference rewrite transformer component written. Also, the mapping has been made in projectName.xml under/config/rewriter. The functionality was working fine with en_US site redirecting images etc to the static domain. Now that multi lingual sites have been created, the functionality has to be extended to all the sites. As specified, I created new config nodes under config.prod as com.projectName.wcm.rewriter.impl.StaticReferenceRewriteTransformerFactory-UScom.projectName.wcm.rewriter.impl.StaticReferenceRewriteTransformerFactory-FRand so on..In this case the rewritetransformer gets invoked, but not rightly. It always ends up taking the config of the last node in the order and replaces the url with the static domain specification of that node.eg :  Irrespective of whether it is US or UK or FR url, the static domain that is redirected would be static.siteName.FRIs anything else to be added here to make it work for Multi sites? In the dialog when an image is dragged and dropped into the dialog tab, the image is rendered in the dialog. If saved and the dialog is reopened, the image is not there, but appears as white space. Hi,I wanted to implement the foundation table component functionality in my application. But while testing it, i could see that it doesnt work as expected. So, on editing the Table component dialog, an author can expand or shorten the height and width of the dialog box. The height of the table viewing area does not grows/shrinks with the dialog. Instead, a vertical scroll bar appears when the table grows taller than the viewing area (see issue.jpg attached). The table viewing area should expand automatically with the dialog box. If it can't resize automatically, the author should be able to manually drag the table down to expand the height.Can anyone point me as to from where can i start changing the styling of the foundation components? Or is this an issue at the product end?I am using CQ5.6.1 version. Appreciate your response on this.

I have a doubt regarding osgi bundles version in felix console after uninstalling the package in aem. The build plan is that the packages are installed incremently with the build version like 1.13.1 then 1.13.2 and so on.If there is a package package-1.13.4.zip installed; which has a bundle bundle-1.13.4.jarAfter uninstalling the package-1.13.4.zip; as per my understanding; the bundle-1.13.4.jar should be removed from apps/myproject/install as well as from the felix console; the bundle that should be installed in felix console should be bundle-1.13.3.jar; since it was the version which was installed prior to 1.13.4But when I uninstall package-1.13.4.zip ; neither the bundle-1.13.4.jar gets removed from apps/myproject/install nor the bundle-1.13.4.jar gets removed from the felix console. Is there something wrong with my understanding?
