The product Im building requires our clients (Adobe Omniture users) to grant us access to their traffic data. I understand OAuth 3 legged Flow is there precisely for this purpose. I however am not a paying Adobe Omniture user and the Docs specify to use OAuth I need an AdobeID ("Step 1: Link your Analytics account to your Adobe ID") but this itself requires SiteCatalyst for which I understand I need to become a paying member. Am I mistaken in any of these steps, or is there a way around this?Additionally following the directions of OAuth 3 legged Flow I can (ignoring step 1, as explained above) get a code through steps 2&3, however in step 4 calling https://api.omniture/com/token/?[...] to exchange code for access token returns 404. Has this changed since the docs were last updated?Thanks,Javier

I'm using Evar2 for Internal Campaign IDs. It is set up as a Merchandising EvarSyntax: 'Conversion Variable Syntax'Allocation: 'First'Expiration: 'Purchase'Binding Events: 'Purchase Event', 'Product View Event', and 'Cart Add Event'In this particular question, there is an internal campaign that links to a product detail page, where a product view is set. Clicking through on the internal campaign results in this:Events 'prodView' products '123456' eVar2 '7890'Since the 'Product View Event' occurs on this resulting page, and is one of the binding methods, I would expect this SKU to bind to the value of '7890' in eVar2 and remain so until purchase.When I run a report on this particular entry (7890) in eVar2 and break it down by Products, with Revenue as a metric, I'm seeing other products being purchased.I'm okay that maybe SKU 7890 wasn't purchased at all, but I would not expect other products to be present there, because they were never bound to that value for eVar2Thanks

I seem to be running into limitations very quickly with row labels for a report I want to run in Report Builder.  It appears that I'm only able to add two or three dimensions at the most for a single metric, and then I'm done.  Am I really limited to running a report out of the Data Warehouse and not from Report Builder.  If so, what's the purpose in having report builder?

One of the report suites I work with is not showing full page URLS - I have other report suites that this menu option and data shows up for. I checked the warehouse and tried pulling with the Excel plug in. What would cause this to happen and how can I get to this data? Thanks, John

Hi, I'm trying to use numeric 2 classifications for cost data import. I've setup the classification called "MyCosts" under "campaign" variable. I've exported classification template and filled one row with data. As announced, I want to classify "campaign" parameter. But still facing difficulties with importing the classification file - error "Invalid Period" (I'm uploading csv file with tab delimiter which normally works for other imports). Hello there I have a job site which happens to publish jobs in Nigeria, but for some time now I am experiencing content theft via rss and I am looking for ways to make my web content more like adobe reader where by it will be difficult to steal my contents. Any help from anyone will be very much welcome.

We're a small marketing agency out of Canada, and had a few questions about adobe analytics. Mostly whether if it's worth the switch for small datasets, ie. is adobe marketing cloud more big data orientated or is there a smaller lightweight solution geared towards small teams. Last week (Feb 6) there was an AD HOC issue that slowed analysis way down, this was fixed Feb 9th  however since then I cannot use a saved project, I can open it but then the application either freezes or is "running reports" for a long time and in effect cannot be used. If I start a new project then it works just fine until I save it, exit and try to reload that project, then it freezes again on the reload. This is of course very annoying as I have to rebuild my project each time in order to complete my analysis.I use 2 different computers one corporate computer via VPN and the other my work computer directly over the Internet. I use the latest version of Java on both. Both have the same issue.Any suggestions as to how this can be resolved?Update - it appears that the data requests that I ran were quite large so Ad Hoc could manage it on the initial run but choked when the project needed to be reloaded. I will have to break up my requests into smaller projects and see if that helps.

Hi friends,Is it possible to display "calculated metrics" in the "Company Summary" report of the dashboard?I have created some "calculated metrics" in Adobe Ad-Hoc Analysis/Discover. I want to display these metrics for multiple reporting suites in the "Company Summary" Report of the DashboardHowever, the calculated metrics do not get listed in the "Available Metrics" section of the "Company Summary" report.Anybody knows how to fix this?The "calculated metric" involves visits based on custom segments which I created in Adobe Ad-hoc Analysis. While creating this metric, I am unable to include it into existing metric folders like 'Traffic', 'Conversion' but am forced to add it to a new folder. I think that if that the "calculated metric" can be added to existing metric folders, then it would get displayed in the "Available Metrics" section of the "Company Summary" Report.

Hello,Our client uses Omniture and for a recent campaign, it was realized that the campaign id was not included within the URL and URL Suffix string.  Would this data be able to be found still within the datawarehouse and reassigned to the correct campaign? 

Hey guys,Is it possible (in report builder) to run a report for page views, uvs etc, based on a campaign segment which gets the campaign number from a cell in Excel? That way instead of needing to create multiple segments for each campaign you want to report on, you can just enter the new campaign number in Excel and refresh the query.Cheers

Hello -Is there a limit on the number of rules in a Rule Set in the Classification Rule Builder?  Is there a point where performance will be degraded?We are using s.campaign as a query parameter in URLs for our campaign code (cid=Channel-CampaignID-Region-ActivityID).  I'd like to classify the campaignID value into a value that makes more sense than an ID using Classification Rule Builder.  This would give me just under 60 rules when combined with the existing rules I have in the rule set. If 60 rules are on the upper end (or way over the limit), is there a way to take just a piece of the campaign code and copy that to an eVar?  I looked at the processing rule options and didn't see any of my campaign components available to be copied. Thanks,Kerri

Hello,I would like to use fallout report with Report Builder.I think metrics of page fallout report is "visit" in Report & Analytics.(Excluding Ad hoc Analysis)But in my Report Builder setting window, metrics is only "page views".I checked that number of that fallout report is same as fallout report with Report & Analytics.I think that metrics should be "visits", not "page view".Could anyone tell me that reason?

Hi, any help with this is much appreciated.We have been using evar #5 to collect data from a page. Recently we noticed that we had 2 elements on that page calling the same evar #5 and as a consequence found the clash caused the data for only one of those elements to be picked up in the SiteCatalyst Custom Conversion report. As a work around and to prevent confusion over evar management and potential confusion we trialled a move to a list variable approach as it seemed more sensible.The listvar uses a pipe "|" to separate the data that would otherwise be pushed to evar #5 into separate entries in the list report. The data gets added to the list using Javascript in Tag Management in an addition to the s_code.We wanted to be sure the data was reliable, and checked the numbers in the following reports:- Pages report- Custom Conversion report (evar #5)- List Variables report (list1).Initial signs were good, the data looked the same across all 3, however after applying metrics to the reports

Hi, Our company has multiple Report Suites and the majority of users run Reports & Analytics in a Chrome browser. When opening the browser with the Omniture bookmark the Report Suite shown in the top right corner shows as 'X'. But when clicking on 'My Reports > View All Reports' the report suite shown to the right of the Search bar is 'Y'!  So when we select a report from the My Reports list, the report suite then automatically changes to 'Y'... Has anyone else noticed report suites changing? I can understand this could be a facet of multi tab browsing when using multiple reports/report suites on different tabs, but this happens when we first access to Adobe Analytics. ThanksGary

Is it possible to have "instances" available in Ad Hoc? Currently, if I want to know how many times a dimension is executed, I have only a couple of choices such as "occurrences" and this brings in too much noise. From my understanding, it brings in all clicks, downloads, etc. for the time period. However, if I breakdown the dimension by page or keyword search, it shows me the "occurrences" of those dimensions, but it adds the others as well. So, if I have 5 pages visited by a user, it will show a total of 150 occurrences instead of only 5. For reporting purposes, this total number is confusing and it's very manual for me to go through and try to clean that up after exporting to excel. If we want to make our companies move to a data-culture, we need to have the right data that reports easily to them.Thanks for your consideration and hope to hear back from someone on whether this is possible or not? I'm debugging my paid search detection rule by looking at a raw data feed, columns paid_search, page_url, ref_domain, and referrer columns. The rule is currently set to:Search Engine: - any -Rule: ContainsFilter: srch=1My paid search links have a parameter WT.srch=1 in them, and from the data feed I can see the rule is working, even though the paid search links have WT.srch=1 and my filter is srch=1. This is good. In addition, all paid search links from Google have an internal custom parameter that determines it was a paid link, in this case it is affiliate_id=020. There are a few scenarios that I'm not sure if Omniture is correctly identifying a paid search link. I noticed for a page URL containing affiliate_id=020 and WT.srch=1, the referring domain can be google.com, but the referrer can come from http://www.google.com/afs/ads/i/iframe.html. Today Omniture does not identify this as a paid search link, so I'm wondering the following: Is this referrer from the Google Display Content N
