We have Adobe Managed Services AEM 6.5 with AEM Guides add-on 4.3.  We're noticing that user preferences are not persisted across a user's session (e.g., pick a different Folder Profiles value and save, then exit Guides and come back in to find the default Global Profile selected).  Is this the expected behavior, or should the preferences be saved for the duration of the session (or even across different logins)?  Any thoughts as to why the changes are not being saved? I am relatively new to AEM and Guides, so not sure what the expected behavior is and if this is a bug in our setup.  

Hi, gentlemen.I have the following scenrio:The website has hundreds of pages, and each of them need a vanity URL. This is because the content structure on AEM does not match the expected end URLs (eg.: on content tree the page will be at /content/<site>/<lang>/<product type>/<country>/<state>/<city>/<page> while the URL will be /<city>/<page> or even /<marketing-stuff>/<another-page-name>).Those vanities must not contain extension (eg.: .html).This scenario leads me to two problems that I'd like to ask for your help or advice:As I'll have new vanities each day, following the recommendation on http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/deploying/dispatcher/disp_config.html that states "depending on how restrictive your filter configuration is, you may need to explicitly register each individual vanity URL. Is there a Out of the Box way or ACS Commons utility to get a report of all User groups in AEM?I saw something in ACS Commons for getting the list of users here - etc/acs-commons/exporters/usergroupstagelist.html, but not for user group.

Hello,I am trying to build a recurring workflow (running daily) to send an email 3 days after a contact fills a form on a specific landing page. But I can't find a way to target only those contacts using a Query. The form only gives me the submitted fields information. How can I target those profiles everyday?Is there a way to do this using Additional Data, adding a Campaign flag? Or a GetDate() when someone submits the form? 

We have a group of a creative user and we want to give permission for only check-in check-out to dam assets without showing menu option like edit, delete and other options as well. So how we can achieve this without overlaying or customization of OOB component.

1. We have a source feed which splits huge files into multiple smaller files on a daily basis. I'm trying to figure out how can we automate a schedule to pick up all files for that day (file name has Date) from the source location and ingest into AEP. 2. Is there a way that I can get certain task-level updates to show at the project-level? Specifically I'm looking to show the task percent-complete at the project level.When I go to the task "updates" section, I can see the task's percent-complete listed (e.g. Jim said this is 73% done.)When I go to the project "updates" section, instead of the percent-complete for the task, I see the name of the task and a message about the condition (e.g. Assign Resources, Jim said the condition is Going Smoothly.)Ideally, rather than the project "updates" section showing the condition of the task, I would like to see the task percent-complete (e.g. "Assign Resources, Jim said this is 73% done.")Is this possible?

In my Single Page Application, I have an iframe containing the Launch script and Datalayer. I am loading utag.js through the Adobe Analytics extension using Adobe Launch. I initially attempted to load utag.js using the page Load event in Adobe Launch, which worked fine in the UAT environment but failed in the Production environment. Currently, in the Production environment, I can see that utag.js and i.gif are loading on the pages with a 200 status in the network tab. However, the Tealium events are not being recorded in Tealium's eventstream.We are not using tealium's Datalayer instead of it we are using our Developer's developed datalayer. I need help to resolve this issue. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

My designers send me proofs to route by using a template. I then use another template to route it to the correct team/people.  When I look into proof activities, I can see the name of the first template used, but not any others. Anyone know a work around to seeing the name of the other templates used?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but.... ...is there a way to prevent someone from marking a task complete until they have populated a field on an attached custom task form?

Hi all,I'm replacing a custom field with a new field, and when I tested the process in Sandbox environment, all the original data was removed from that filed. I going to have to work-around this in this occasion, but is this expected behaviour?ThanksMatt

Hi,We came to know that there is no id sync placed on our logged-in site.  However, we have a data source that has cross-device as data type and we are still getting data on that data source.  There is no trace of DIL code on the site either.  Do any of you know how this might be possible?Thanks

Has anyone ever deleted the percent complete in requests? The owner of this project doesn't need it. As well as delete planned completion date? It's also not a relevant use to this team at this moment. Screenshot attached Thanks 

I'm on recommendations feeds page and trying to create a new feed. I've selected CSV, and picked the URL with a link to the CSV. Once I click save, it errors out to "File parsing failed". I've tried the sample CSV and other CSV formats and none of them change this error.

Hi there,Still new to Target, and have a bit of a odd question. I have an A/B Activity set up with 2 experiences (1 Control, and 1 Personalized). When I choose my Goal Metric to be 'Conversion > Clicked an Element' and I select a certain element in one of the experiences (For example, we can say the element is a Main Nav item in the Personalized Experience), I am finding that Target selects the same element in both Experiences. Is there any way to set this up so that I can select an Element in one Experience, but not have Target automatically select the same element in the other Experience?Thank you

We are selecting evar1 or any other analytics variables from the "TimeseriesEvents" object on mapping section(mapping section>add new field>select schema field >select timeSeriesEvents object >experinece>analytics>customdimensions>eVars>eVar1), it's throwing error. error message: There was a problem preparing mappings.Bad request parameters or payload. Hi All, We are using File Attachment Component and have configured the maximum size of 1MB for an attachment. The alert provided is OOTB when the size of the file exceeds 1 MB.How can we restrict the Alert from coming and customize to our error Message. This js is called ootb and we need to restrict it.    Thanks

  Why there is minor data mismatch between Workspace and Report builder report.  (used same segment and metrics).   Is it because of API version? Just wanted to confirm.
