Can we do custom logic on indexing process to create a custom field and value? For example, adding a custom logic to convert value from field ABC from AEM to value in field ABC1 in SOLR

Looking for an AEM consultant / developer to help us identify solutions for our outdated AEM platform and help us migrate from 6.2 to 6.5

As we upload the asset in aem dam we observed that /content/dam folder properties getting updated due to which asset is not visible after uploading . This is AEMAACS 2022.9.8722.20220912T101352Z .   However we tried with same jar version on local sdk with same custom codebase but it is working fine .It is only happening in cloud service . Does anyone encounter the same before.   Thanks Himanshu

I've installed AEM Workbench and I'm trying to login and create a new server connection on the same machine/harddrive.  I've been using this Youtube video as a tutorial. I have NOT installed "aemforms_server_6_5_0_jboss_all_win.zip" yet, although I have it ready and available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q740bCcgV8k In Workbench, when I click Login -> Configure -> Add new Server -> add title, hostname (localhost), SOAP/HTTP, and port 8080, and set username and password credentials to administrator/password, it gives me the error "Connection to (server title) failed. Please verify your connection settings and make sure the server is available before retrying".     How do I create a new server on the same machine? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to install "aemforms_server_6_5_0_jboss_all_win.zip"?

Hi Everyone We have a state-of-the-art data collection setup using the AEP Web SDK that redirects all events toward an AEP Datastream which distributes all captured events to AEP, Adobe Analytics, and other destinations. Recently a client enquired if it would be possible to dynamically filter different events and distribute them accordingly. E.g., certain events should be only sent to Adobe Analytics while others should be sent to all activated destinations within the datastream. Is there some feature (e.g., within the data prep) that could be utilized for this purpose? Thank you in advance!

Hello Experts, We are trying to Reverse replicate few nodes from Publish to Author, One amongst them is /home/users.I setup a launcher for the same, but even when the workflow shows that reverse replication is complete, User nodes are replicated from Publish to Author.Any Ideas why? Also, In case of Multi Publisher environment does AEM automatiacally replicates /home/user nodes to all Publishers including any custom properties for User? Thanks,Nitin

our AEM cloud is currently hosted in Europe North (aka NL). However, as well as europe, we have customers in Brazil, for whom the site is unusably slow due to the large latency between the regions.   Now AEM fully supports putting publish instances into different locations, to solve this problem, but this feature is missing in the arguably-crippled Cloud version.   The question is what locations are available for hosing the cloud service, and specifically is Brazil supported?   The only option we have is to create and manage complete duplicationions of our sites in each region, which is going to be difficult and expensive, especially given its not possible to create a package with all our images even (due to the package size limitations) so we cant even backup or manually copy content from one env to another in the same region.   On prem might help, but we do not have any technical operations teams in our organization.

Hi 🙂 We are migrating our native app implementation to AEP. In the process, we are changing the custom IDs being set on the app. Old implementation sets VID and ECID New implementation will set ECID only. We will ensure that the ECID set will be the same as the old implementation for all existing users. We are also sending the data to the same report suite. My question is, if I ask Analytics the total number of unique visitors to our platform spanning a date range over the upgrade, will Analytics consider the same person as 2 unique visitors over that range because we dropped VID?  (for argument sake assume there was a force upgrade of the app so everyone is on the AEP App)My concerns comes from the order of operations for IDs https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/id-service/using/reference/analytics-reference/analytics-order-of-operations.html?lang=en

Is it possible to create custom views and filters in the Requests section? I know I can create a custom report and create views, filters, groups there but I would like to be able to add the view and filter to the request object in the same way I do for other objects (portfolios, programs, projects, users etc) Specifically, I want to create a filter so that users only see requests that belong to the users HOME GROUP but I don't see a way to do that without creating a report.

Jumping off of this post - does anyone know a way to view the Learning Paths without having and Experience League login? We like to share the learning paths with new users and I am afraid that if there is any sort of barrier teammates won't review the training. Has anyone been able to find how to or is it possible to make these links 'public' since most of our users won't need an account? Even if they can sign into Workfront and then go to the learning paths that would be helpful - currently it just displays the Workfront Documentation Link Page when you click on Help in Workfront.   Links for reference:  Workfront for Collaborators - Learn how to use a Review or Request license to easily request, review, and collaborate on tasks, documents, and proofs in the new Workfront experience Workfront for Workers - For individuals who receive work or requests and collaborate with teams on projects and documents Workfront for Planners - Start your W

Hi,   Is there a way to edit policies and assign them to all instances of a component within a site?  For instance, I want all teasers on my site, regardless of where they are placed or page they are used in to share the same policy settings.   I am trying to follow this strategy: Page templates have a baked in header/footer and an unlocked Container.  This container is set to the Page Main policy. Page Main renders a <main> tag, and the only components allowed inside are Containers. The containers that are placed inside of the Page Main container receive the Dynamic Container Policy Dynamic Container Policy allows for all core components, renders as a section element, is set to Responsive Grid and has a fixed set of background colors and style variations that can be applied. This allows me to "force" the content author into using the Container element on pages to break them up into logical chunks of content. The design matches this strategy, and we us

There is a click event which triggers on specific dom element visibility on page load. For example it will show some random number value in page load and the value is captured in prop. Can I use the prop value in that event along with visits and visitors to see how many visitors or visits were shown with that prop value?

We recently upgraded AEM Environment from 6.5.9 to 6.5.10, and we don't see a simple fragment coming from AEM OOTB(/libs). Is this deprecated in the latest version?  in 6.5.9, when we create content fragments below simple fragment showed up - in 6.5.10 it is not available -

I've been unable to use Analytics at all this morning, because whenever I try navigating to Workspace or Reports, the following error shows up after a solid minute or two of loading: UI_RENDER_ERRORAn error is preventing this section from rendering. You can try refreshing the page. If the error persists, try rebuilding this section.  Is there anything I can do on my end to resolve this, or is it something that Adobe themselves have to fix?

Hello, Adobe Community We're in the process of migration AEM from 6.3 to 6.5. We've made first steps and now we have the problem with loading pages which have target areas:And the error is: Uncaught ReferenceError: $CQ is not defined. Could you please suggest what's the problem can be? Thanks.

Hi I need some help on a velocity script token I am trying to create to use in a text based email. Here's what I'm trying to do: My email is a notification that goes out after a customer fills out a form and the reason I'm going this route is because we're over the 40 token limit that you can include in an email. However not every form fill will have over 40 fields to display as some of those fields are conditional on the form. We have fields for up to 4 users. In the email I want the data that the user 2 has inputted in the form to display only if that field is not empty (if statement only needs to be on the User name since if this is empty the rest of the fields would be too). Some of the fields that they are filling out are Boolean fields (so they check them or leave them blank) and rather than my email having 1's and 0's I want the script to say Yes or No on that particular field and display what the name of the field is. Here's example data input: User 2 Name: Jane Doe User 2 Emai

I've done much searching, but I'm still looking for more information on the physical location of the servers that host the AEM Cloud files. As Cloud implies, there are probably a redundant amount of servers to support backup when connections go down. Is there anyway to tell if these server locations are all US based or can and are sometimes based outside the US?Our company is subject to strict NSA standards to keep our suppliers and data hosted in the US, and not include any foreign entities or locations.Thanks,-V

I've got multiple reports scheduled, delivering directly to my SFTP server but I don't see the option anymore where we could set the Report Destination. It's set to the 'Email' by default. How can I schedule new reports to be delivered directly to my SFTP server?

We've been working to get our DKIM verified with Marketo but with no luck. I've confirmed the SPF record is set up correctly, and the DKIM can be verified as accurate through MXToolbox or other DKIM/Dmarc checker sites. However Marketo is still pending setup Marketo support has given instructions that all our servers need to have the DKIM key on them, but we have several internal servers that our IT/Security team has issues adding publicly accessible keys too. So my question...   If external checker sites confirm that our DKIM record is set up correctly, does Marketo's verification matter at all? Or are we able to just leave this as 'pending verification' forever?

Hi lovely community. Just very new to Adobe so pardon my ignorance. Just wanted to check how would I figure out all the entry points to a particular CTA( Call to action) on a website. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi All,   Need to know the best approach for Reindexing data after a Content is Activated using Custom Indexes.   We are using Lucene OOTB search.

I am working on AEM and SPA, here I want to use Assets REST API but want to know how I can secure our Assets REST API.   how we can configure OAuth with Assets REST API?   If there is any suggestion/example it will really helpful.

Hi  I am trying to hit http://localhost:4503/api/assets.json using wrong credentials but getting 200 as responce why this is so ?

I enabled currency events in Admin console, but was not able to see them in the Analysis Workspace interface. I see it in the image request that the data is sent in the currency event.
