We have Analytics, but do not have Activity Map implemented. Implementing it seems like a no-brainer, but I want to know if there are any reasons NOT to implement. For example:- Does it use any server calls? From what I read, this is a no.- Does it cost anything? Again, I think this is a no.- Does it delay any site activity for our visitors? Or delay any Analytics calls?- Is future implementation/tagging affected once Activity Map is loaded? Please let me know if there are any other considerations. Thanks!

Hello, This is my first post on these forums... so go easy on me.Here's the scenario..... I am trying to calculate the cumulative unique visitors hitting a certain page. My setup is as follows...- Free form table- Day down the left hand side (in this example lets assume it's 01/03-07/03)- Unique visitors visiting page X segment along the topThe problem I am running into is that I am double counting visitors when it is split out by day due to their being some visitors that visit the page on different days. So my number is much larger than if I just count how many visitors visit the page between 01/03-07/03.Has anyone found a way in which I can not count returning visitors when splitting by day? I.e. Only see visitors that I have not already counted on a previous day. Thanks,Max

Hi Community,  Fairly new to AA and had an agency setup our marketing channels & internal URL filters back in 2020.  Running into an issue right now where our Report Suites are suddenly dropping significantly for Organic (Natural Search) to Internal over the last week.   the only thing we changed was updating the internal URL filters to remove some staging sites....but that was back in late Nov, early Dec 2021.   Can someone weigh in on the potential issue here?  Thinking us using the period (.) default value as well as the value of the sites we are tracking in the report suite may be conflicting and causing issues.     And maybe the delay in seeing the change is a result of the Visitor timeout to be 30 days (default setting for Channel expiration)  Example of the data we are seeing (Organic drops to nothing, Internal spikes)  Processing Rules  Example of Internal URL filter setup (I think this is

Why does Auto-Target not show the uplift between control and Auto-Targeted as described in the documentation (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/reports/auto-target-summary-report.html?lang=en) were It says:"The top two rows in the table on the reporting page show the results of an A/B test between the visitors who were assigned to the control (i.e. randomly served experiences) and the visitors who were assigned to the personalization algorithm. This information can be used to measure how the personalization algorithm performed compared to the randomly-served control"

Hi all,   I'm trying to run a Java URL signer within Velocity for to handle a signature with on the Google Maps Static API, within a velocity token. In searching the forums I know that Java capabilities have been/are being deprecated in Velocity, but in looking at the Base64 module,  I'm curious if it's possible to merge the two together with the libraries listed on the Java URL signer, or if I have to go about it another way.    My thought was to add the Base64 module, #set the static strings, remove the error handling and print/input sections, as Marketo has no problem telling me the code is broken, and there's no need to input since the data would be within the script. That leaves the question of the other imports, specifically the HMAC-SHA1. Before I start down this path further, I figured I would ask, is this even remotely possible?

While creating analysis workspace dashboard for my first Auto Target activity reporting it became aparent that the Experience names as we define within AT test settings in Adobe Target do not show in A4T report (it only shows Expereince A, Experience B, etc. though that is now how the names are managed in Target and its reporting tab). Anything we can do to expose the activity name as dimension value? Any solution for replicating tables like these in tutorial (link below) that can show diemnsion names as understood by the stakeholders/defined in Target? Edit text like we can do on report legend now?   https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target-learn/tutorials/integrations/set-up-a4t-reports-in-analysis-workspace-for-auto-target-activities.html?lang=en#align-the-attribution-between-ml-model-training-and-goal-metric-generation  Thanks for your help! YT

Hi,I came across this document 'A4T support for Auto-Allocate and Auto-Target activities', https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/target/using/integrate/a4t/a4t-at-aa.html?lang=enNotice there is limitation stating, Target uses the “Same Touch” attribution model in the Auto-Allocate feature: Analytics for Target (A4T).From reporting point of view in AA, the default is using 'Last Touch'. Is there any impact or difference?

Hi friends, I'm not involved in App development at my organization--my work is all native web, front end development, et al. We have a vendor that handles our mobile App development. Anyway, we've been using the Experience Mobile SDKs for iOS and Android successfully, but now there is a push to develop an app for Amazon FireOS. Being essentially a fork of Android, one would think the Android SDK would be sufficient, but the vendor says it does not work. My question is: Does Adobe officially support FireOS or is there an SDK extension available? Or is the vendor incorrect in their assertion? Thank you

We're currently experiencing an issue with the drill-down capabilities in RCE.  Hopefully someone can identify what the issue might be.Many of our marketers constantly ask our team "why can't we drill down into the basic reports in Marketo to view the leads behind the individual metrics?"   I realize you can create a smart list for this additional level of insight, but it requires extra effort (and many are used to having this capability in other platforms).  Also, many of our marketers aren't that familiar with Marketo - so ease-of-use and self-service are key here.  So the next best thing is to use the Email Analysis reports in RCE - with "cell drill-through" enabled:We then select the attributes that we want to appear:You can now see each metric is a clickable link:Here's where the problem lies (unless I'm doing something wrong).  When I click on the number "7" under "unique clicks" for the first email, this is the underlying data:Why is it displaying e

Hello all! I have a service set up that runs sub-workflows in batches based on a set size (currently 15 but configurable to other values). It is multi-threaded (I have tested the concurrency and it appears to follow an appropriate ordering 100% of the time). The goal is to have a parent thread call workflowSession.startWorkflow(...), wait until the workflow completes, then release its thread back to the pool (I'm actually using a semaphore and an ExecutorService which might not both be necessary but shouldn't affect how anything works). The way I am accomplishing waiting until a workflow is completed is waiting the thread on a monitor stored in a map with the key being the workflow id. An EventHandler listens for workflow complete events and calls notify on that map at the workflow id (these are currently lining up properly). The issue that I am having is that I have a while guard (surrounding the wait call) that loops while the workflow.isActive(). The local workflow object

Hello ! On AEM 6.4.8.4, I have created a validation workflow which contains dynamic participant steps. The customer would like users to receive a reminder email X days after the first email (that they received when the step is assign to them).  I was trying to use the timeout option available in the first tab of the workflow step but, in the timeout handler, it doesn't seems to me that an email reminder step is available.  I can develop my own step (I already have) but it would be preferable to keep it native is possible. Am I missing something or does this option just don't exist ?  Many thanks,Grégory

dynamic media classic - what does the clear image cache and clear asset cache under personal account do?? what exactly is it clearing out?

Hello, I have a dispatcher configuration with /enableTTL "1" Most of the caching is done based on stat files, but some resources needs to be cached using TTL. When I have a resource that is cached with ttl I noticed that it affects the response headers that are send to the browser, for example I have an svg icon under my client library /etc.clientlibs/my-lib/resources/icon.svg when I have have TTL disabled I can se that Content-Type response header is present for this resource and browser correctly displays the icon. When I add the TTL "1" then the response header is gone. I noticed that I can fix this by extending the /headres section in the /cache configuration/cache{ ... /enableTTL "1" /rules { # Rules } /invalidate { # ... } /headers { # with this header content type is present in browser, without it it's lost for resources cached along with .ttl file "Content-Type" }} Is this a bug or a

Need small help. what could be the reason if dimension created using classification rule builder doesn't show in virtual reporting suite. It is working fine in parent reporting suite. Ideally virtual reporting suite will inherit from parent reporting suite. Any thoughts.

Hi All, I have a requirement where I need to bring in data linked to recipients at a large scale (e.g. sending to recipient volume > 2million, the linked table schema will have even more data than this). I have created a custom schema and created a link between recipient and the custom schema. In the delivery I have:* Set the "edit the recipient profile loading query..." to retrieve the linked records by editing the expression using some simple filters (including a date expression. field <= GetDate(). Most the time we'll set the limit to 1 / fetch single record, but there may be the need to retrieve 2 or 3 records per recipient. * Created a JS condition + loop that shows the data if the recipient has atleast one linked record, and iterates over it if multiple records. <% if ( recipient.customSchemaLinkName.length > 0 ) { %><% for (var i=0; i < recipient.customSchemaLinkName.length; i++) { %>Show linked record field 1 here: <%= recipie

Hi everyone,I have case where I need to store a lot of values (around 7000) under a certain node in an OAK repository (AEM 6.0). The previous implementation had each value (user ID) stored as a node without a hierarchy, which made page activations quite slow.I changed it now so the values are stored in a mutli-valued string property, which makes the page activation much faster, but on the publish instance I get following warning in the error.log:26.08.2015 17:43:01.466 *WARN* [127.0.0.1 [1440603781461] POST /bin/receive HTTP/1.1] org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.jcr.session.NodeImpl Large multi valued property detected (6527 values). It seems to work fine, but should I be concerned? I found the spot which is causing the warning: http://grepcode.com/file/repo1.maven.org/maven2/org.apache.jackrabbit/oak-jcr/1.0.7/org/apache/jackrabbit/oak/jcr/session/NodeImpl.java#NodeImpl.internalSetProperty%28java.lang.String%2Cjavax.jcr.Value[]%2Cint%2Cboolean%29Apparently the constant "MV_PROPERTY_WARN_THRES
