On a project we are unsure whether or not to purchase the query service. In what scenarios can the query service be used? is it possible to have some practical examples that help to understand when it is actually necessary to have this service? I imagined the following two cases:1. Do complex searches on datasets (example with the use of JOIN on individual schema, event and lookup)2. insert the results of the research of point 1 in a dataset at time intervals. To create segments based on the data entered in the dataset through the JOINs (point 1) Does it make sense to buy the query service for the two scenarios I have illustrated? are there any other examples that can make us understand the importance of query service?

Hi Team! Which is the best practice that I have mentioned below? 1. Have single property with multiple companies  2. Multiple properties with multiple companies 3. Have multiple properties in a single company 4. Have multiple companies in a single property  Thank You

Hello Just wondering if anyone has seen an error 'GraphQL error: Aborting. Error encountered in estimate fetch: Invalid Predicates (ERROR)' while trying to load a segment in AEP UI? If so, any ideas how to fix this? Thanks Gigi

I can use the API to create a query, but can I also get the results from the query in the API?

Has anyone scripted a completion date (date field) to be calculated based on a user entered start date(date field) + user entered number of days(number field)? If so, do you mind sharing or point me to the proper thread? (Use case: A contractor chooses a start date for a job, and then enters the number of days the project will last, then the ending date is calculated based on the starting date + job length...we do not need to exclude the weekends.) Thanks!

There's an author  URL with /content/.../.../form.A1-T5-*.html#/.The shortened URL www.domainname/form.A1-T5-*  I want a  slash to be appended at the end of the URL without which a script doesn't load and the form is blank.www.domainname/form.A1-T5-*/A1-T5 is a model name which is dynamic and  keeps getting updated for the respective models and -* is appended through jquery.Script loads for this URl www.domainname/form.A1-T5-*/#/#/ gets appended when / is appended in the end, so I'm trying to append a slash. It works in author and publsiher but does not work in dispatcher. Is there a way / can be appended in the end to this dynamic URL without breaking the static URL using sling mapping or is there any other approach I need to use?www.domainname/form/#/ Thanks

Hello,I have problems to get content of delivery from AEM. I am using the AEM integration package function from JS library nms:amcIntegration.js   /** * Get the current content value from AEM * {DOMDocument} elDelivery The delivery * {DOMDocument} The node containing the content parts */ function nms_delivery_aemGetContent(elDelivery) { var result = <content/>; var iCMSAccountId = elDelivery.@["cmsAccount-id"];    But any type of delivery object I provide it will always fail on the line  var iCMSAccountId = elDelivery.@["cmsAccount-id"]; I tried NLWS.nmsDelivery.load(), queryDef with JXON  (have not tried with XML). Can somebody give me some hints? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I am looking to subscribe my revenue explorer dashboard. But upon creating the subscription, I am unable to locate my dashboard name. Though, it is showing me the full list of dashboards but not mine. Can anyone explain, why such thing is happening.

Dear community, I'm new to AEM and try to build my first site. My question is:I'd like to put icon / navigation bar/ user info, these three components on my header (made by experience fragment)but for the anonymous users, I'd like to hide the navibar and user info components (since the user is anonymous). Have checked the properties and some other items shown on my AEM instance but still have no idea what should I do next... or maybe I cannot get what I want with using experience fragment? Any advices are most welcome, thanks in advance!

Hi,we have the need to upload many assets with an external tool that connects to AEM and sends them via API.We didn't have any issue till we tried to upload files over 500MB, that are needed for very high resolution printings. When we try to upload that TIF pictures, on the client side we have this error:  Error code: ERROR_HTTP_STATUS_NOT_OK Error Description: Internal Server Error Error HTTP Status: 500  Then, checking on AEM we found no errors, but with the logs we understood that the upload servlet crashes when accessing the file parameter sent by the client (accessing the parameters array this way: params[0], even if the first parameter exists). Since we tried this upload also with a local environment of AEM, and we had no error there, we thought that maybe the problem is something about allocated memory for uploading assets. We also tried to increase the "Max Memory" in OSGi configuration "Day CQ DAM Buffered Image Cache" to 1073741824 (1GB, and it was set at 500MB

I have a scenario where if I access:<domain>/blah-blah (non existing page) redirects me to correct 404 page.BUT, if I access :<domain>/blah-blah.html (non existing page with .html extension) redirects me to generic 404 page. Expectation :Both the scenarios should be redirecting me to custom 404 page (same as scenario1).Open to suggestions, thanks in advance.

How can we secure path based Servlet from random user?

I have a new language it.json in the app and the translation for it is not being picked up in ResourceBundle resourceBundle = slingRequest.getResourceBundle(locale); The resourceBundle does not have this custom it.json in its languageRoots. Is there something else I have to do on AEM to configure this new location for it.json? JcrResourceBundle [locale=it, baseName=null, languageRoots=[/libs/granite/i18n/it.json, /libs/fd/i18n/it.json, /libs/wcm/core/i18n/it.json], parent=JcrResourceBundle [locale=en, baseName=null, languageRoots=[/libs/cq/searchpromote/components/pagination/i18n/en, /libs/social/subscriptions/components/hbs/subscriptions/i18n/en, /libs/foundation/components/search/i18n/en, /libs/foundation/components/mobilefooter/i18n/en, /libs/commerce/components/search/i18n/en, /libs/social/commons/components/hbs/comments/i18n/en], parent=org.apache.sling.i18n.impl.RootResourceBundle@266b232e]]

Hi All, I would like to know if MSM's standard rollout config behaves in below mentioned way.I have a source :- /content/en-US/home.html page on which I have a content fragment reference components which points to content fragment at /content/dam/content-fragments/en-US/movie-fragmentnow I created a live copy from this source en-US site for example en-CAexpecting that when I rollout home page, the content fragment reference will also be changed to /content.dam.content-fragments/en-CA/movie-fragment ! But this is not the observed behavior ...after rollout the page in livecopy still has content fragment referenced from /content/dam/content-fragments/en-US/movie-fragment. Few questions :Is this intended behavior ?What would it take to achieve what I explained above? Thanks in advance for your time and help!!

Been running into a particular situation in which I've been finding cross contamination of hits happening between different websites sharing the same reporting suite but they have different Adobe Launch properties.  The scenario is as follows: 'Website A' has 'Adobe Launch Property A' installed 'Website B' has 'Adobe Launch Property B' installed  Recently I introduced a new eVar in the reporting suite; let's call this 'eVar A'. The only time 'eVar A' is ever set is within 'Adobe Launch Property A'. 'eVar A' has never been set in 'Launch property B' in any rules. After a day of collecting data and checking Adobe Analytics, out of a sample of approximately 30,000 Instance metrics of 'eVar A', I see 29,999 instances from 'Website A' . However, there is 1 instance of 'eVar A' reporting in 'Website B'.... how could that be possible?  By definition an 'Instance' metric is 'the number of t

When to breakdown by evar and prop? For example I am trying to find which error message occurred on which page. So should I use evar(pagename) and breakdown by prop(error message) or should both be evar or prop ?

I've been currently looking at the GraphQL API in the latest SDK and documented here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/graphql/graphql-and-external-app.html?lang=en#prerequisites We currently still use an on-prem version of AEM and it looks like this functionality is currently only available in the Cloud Service solution.  Is there any plan to release a feature pack with the GraphQL API capabilities for 6.5 and the additional content fragment features (e.g. fragment reference types)?

Hi There,On every page, there is a call to "assets.adobedtm" while using "AEM as a cloud service" version.I am just curious about how this is happening, from where this external call is originating, and if we want to change it or disable it how one can do that. Please let me know your thoughts on the same. ThanksRavi Joshi
