Solved

Hello all, I'm following the tutorial of Service Credentials | Adobe Experience Manager and everything is going well except the  part where it's supposed to create a technical account in my aem in the cloud. So instead of giving a 200 and 403 for the other requests its giving me a 401 for everything. I assume because the technical account is not being created on the first request. Does anybody have a clue on why this is happening? Thanks

I'm working on Adobe Analytics project for mobile which is made using Cordova. There are few plugins which need to be added as per Adobe's document. Can someone let me know which plugins have to be put up where and if it  follows any order ?The adobe document mentions about the plugins but it is little confusing to understand. Plugins:cordova plugin add https://github.com/adobe/cordova-acpcore.gitcordova plugin add https://github.com/adobe/cordova-acpanalytics.gitcordova plugin add https://github.com/adobe/cordova-aepassurance.git

I've tried to view the Analytics for several times but failed for some reason.I have already tried using other account, internet server, browser, resetting, refresh etc.For some odd reason, other members of our team(using the same account) can view the Analytics without any problem.Does anyone have any idea with this issue??

Hi all,I’am facing an issue regarding the handling of the @586265 annotation with AEM-Junit test scenario. Here an example of the issue:Model Class: @Model(adaptables = {SlingHttpServletRequest.class}, defaultInjectionStrategy = DefaultInjectionStrategy.OPTIONAL) public class SimpleModel { @586265 private Resource currentResource; public Resource getCurrentResource(){ return currentResource; } } Test Class: @ExtendWith({AemContextExtension.class, MockitoExtension.class}) public class SimpleModelTest{ private AemContext context = new AemContext(); private SimpleModel simpleModel; @BeforeEach public void setup() throws Exception { context.addModelsForClasses(SimpleModel.class); context.load().json("SimpleModelTest.json", "/content/myproject/us"); } @2785667 void testResource() { context.currentResource("/content/myproject/us/jcr:content/simple-component"); simpleModel = context.request

Hi All,We have a scenario, where we would like to send an event to another system when a page has been replicated (and more importantly cache from dispatcher is cleared for that page then only send event). In AEM as cloud service, how can we perform a task after cache has been flushed for a page?

Hi, In latest AEM cloud SDK aem-sdk-2022.2.6433.20220223T194056Z-220100, inbox rows are not displaying properly in Chrome browser. In other browsers, inbox page is working fine. Only in chrome, sometimes the checkboxes on the left end are not displayed for few inbox items, users are not able to complete inbox items. Please share feedback if this is an AEM SDK issue and will be fixed as part of version upgrades.

Hi there, A question just come up to my mind: why people use Visits*Bounce% to evaluate the effective traffic from specific referrer? It seems that Bounce, Bounce% are metrics match with Entries, for a site level Entries = Visits, but for a specific referrer, e.g. Organic Search or Referrer = Google.com, the Visits does not equal to Entries. Will it more reasonable to use Entries*Bounce% as the metric?E.g., when I set segment: visit level, referrer = google.com, then should use above metric instead of Visits*Bounce%. Thanks.H_L

Hi all,We counted a lot of crash event after new mobile app launched, is it related mobile app upgrade? Any idea to find out the root cause on it? Thanks so much!Regards,L

I'm analyzing language (using the out-of-the-box Language dimension) use on one of our sites, and I'm seeing consistent differences reported for Japanese users based on whether their language is "Japanese" or "Japanese (Japan)". Invariably, "Japanese (Japan)" performs much worse than those where the language is reported as "Japanese". I'm only looking at traffic from within Japan, by the way. Does anyone know the difference between those two values? Thanks! Edit:I think I figured it out, and it has to do with mobile. Mobile traffic is primarily reported as "Japanese (Japan)", where desktop traffic is mostly reported as "Japanese".

Hi , I have integrated AEM - CJA using Adobe Launch. I have followed self-hosting library approach  using download link . The issue i am facing is, launch.js is  cached in browser and continues to be served from browser memory. How can i make sure that the launch.js is not served from browser memory rather fetched from AEM so that it reflects the latest config.I am exploring cache-control header approach , can some one suggest me whats the best approach and provide me with sample config for that.

Hi Everyone,Hoping someone can help.If a user is set to Reviewer (no longer needs to be a Approver but may have comments), should they still receive an email notification that a proof is available for them to review? Recent activity is telling me they don't. And when I Iog in as that person, I don't see that proof listed on their My Updates page. I haven't changed any email notifications settings for anyone. Thanks!Linda

I've usually left security and access to servlets up to the network policies and the dispatcher configuration. Is there a best practice for securing an individual servlet within that servlet?

Hi,   Is there a way to have Marketo not escape HTML of a specific email module? Currently the system is encoding "&" to "amp;" and it breaks a third party tool we are attempting to use. I didn't see any template specific syntax and am curious to see if anyone has a workaround.

I'm an trying to add fulltext search function using Lucene, Issue is the depth of the fulltext search. Let me explain this through an example. Say you have to pages that contain a text component with the term "Foo" in the text and the search Predicate {fulltext=Foo, p.offset=0, p.limit=2, path=/content/mypath, type=cq:Page, p.excerpt=true}. cq:Page Page 1   jcr:content      par1         component_text (search term "Foo" is here)cq:Page Page 2    jcr:content      par1         component_wrapper               component_text (search term "Foo" is here) The default index will find Page 1 but not Page 2. I created a custom index increasing the number of aggregates for cq:Page (xml included below). That successfully returns Page 1 and Page 2, but it also returns all the parent pages in the tree.Any suggestions how to resolve this?&nbsp

Wanted to check if Adobe analytics provides the capabilities  of hiding/unhiding of any variable (evar, prop or events).for example we have successful "Logins" and trigger event2 and event10 for that purpose. In analysis workspace we wanted to show only event2 for generating the report but don't want to disable event10. After a certain period of time (say an year or so) we want to reverse this meaning event10 will be visible and event1 will hidden. So visibility of events can be set in Admin panel (Analytics > Admin > Report Suites > Edit Settings > Conversion > Success Events )  But do we have such provision in Adobe Analytics for props and evars too? Any thoughts / suggestion will be highly appreciated.

I understand I can download the report suite into a text file where the Go Live Date is present, but I wondered if it is listed somewhere. I don't want to download and scan 20 report suites if the Go Live Date is presented in the UI for easy access?

Hi all,We have connected to Adobe analytics via an API using denodo and have retrieved the metrics and dimensions. what we want to do is replicate front end reporting in denodo by creating views based on the logic of the front end reports. I've extracted the JSON query but the structure of this is in id strings that don't match the objects we can see in denodo. Has anyone done anything similar? Thanks

I have a voucher for a certification exam and I want to cancel the scheduled exam so if I cancel it will it render the voucher ineffective?

Hello Omniture gurus,I have a question about the two approaches belowWhat i want to do:How many organic natural search visits occurred from a set of pages (i made a segment out of it)Solutions:1) make a segment and go to visit report and make a calculated metrics to have visits only from channel= natural search (note the total)2) Break the visits from above report further with pages and count the total of the metrics for all the pagesI believe the second solution is proper. Is it?The sum of pages are much higher than total of the pages displayed which i am curious about as well as to why the total doesnt match the sum of pagesPlease guideThanks

Certain single user actions in my analytics setup result in multiple columns in the Adobe Analytics Debugger. In other words, a single user action results in more than one column of data sent to Adobe, as seen in the debugger. Typically, one column exists to track link clicks and the secondary column tracks other pages attributes. I want to know if data column 1 and data column 2 are both counted as a single hits, when using this option in a segment. Thanks

Hello,I have a problem with a form. I have hidden subforms which appear when the add button is clicked. They are hidden in adobe acrobat dc, but when I save it as reader extended pdf all these hidden subforms are visible, and it makes the document 19 pages, instead of three. Is there a way of solving it?Thanks

Hi guysI have an issue linked to OSGI bundles, an is like this:I have two bundles, A and B.Bundle A is dependency to bundle B ( B ----> A ).When deploy bundle A on instance, bundle B gets into Installed status and it stays there, it does not get active only if I set it manually. While the B bundle is in Installed status, all the dependencies are resolved (nothing red there). What do you think is the problem might be?
