"categories (string) multiple - is the identifier used to directly include this clientlib from a content page or to embed it in other clientlibs. We can categorize our clientlibs using this property to manage files easily and only load whatever we need. The categories property, being multi-valued, allows a library folder to be    part of more than one category." hi folks,I'm just try to understand the above. Can I have multiple clientlibs with the same "category" value in the .content.xml files ?I tried it and it seems to work but I have some doubts if it is allowed.I know all about "embed" and "dependency" etc. and I didn't use them here.Just asking if I can use the above method. I know you can have a clientlib with multiple categories.thanks!Fiona

Hi, I am trying to integrate AEM 6.5 with  Adobe Launch using Adobe I/OReferring :- https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-learn/sites/integrations/adobe-launch-integration-tutorial-understand.html But i am unable to map Adobe Launch cloud service with my project as we have static templates and our project is not under conf. Is it the case that we can only using header approach for integrating launch with static templates in AEM?By any chance can we integrate Adobe Launch using Adobe IO while being on static templates.?@neerajpandey24 @kautuk_sahni

We have a connector which uploads file using Asset API HTTP Put to upload any new assets into AEM OnPrem. The issue we are facing is when we disable WebDAV in AEM, the HTTP PUT also stops. Is there a way to allow to upload assets via HTTP PUT while keeping WebDAV disabled. Thanks

Hi all, If I am implementing Headless AEM1. What is the relevance of AEM Templates, given that pages will not be built in AEM and AEM supplies only data to te front end?2. How content could be created?3. How could the front end consumes AEM Experience Fragments? Appreciate your support. Thanks,Rama.

Is there any feature of Page expiration alerts in AEM?Example if my page is going to expire in 3 days a group or a user is need to be notified with the date some days earlier

Can i use Javascript to controller a component in AEM 6.4? How configure to build a script JS in UI.Frontend to Clientlib-site.JS?

Hello,  We have implemented authentication requirement (from page properties -> advanced -> Authentication Requirement) for some of our sites and added Custom User Group so that only users part of that group can access the site after successful authentication.  The solution does not prevent users from trying as many attempts as they want. This may lead to brute force attack where attacker can try as many combinations for a user and get access to the secured site.  Is there any OOTB feature for locking out users based upon some number of unsuccessful authentication attempts? We can reproduce the same in author environment (though author is accessible by company network only) as well which requires login before updating any content.

Hello all, We manage our company's website in AEM, and there are two teams on which I'd like to focus here: content managers and developers. Developers create new templates and components, and content managers use both developed and out-of-the-box components ti create and update pages. Both teams use localization strings via AEM Translator: content managers manage them in the production instance, developers on dev and test ones. To minimize issues in newly developed code, developers would like a convenient way to have up-to-date translations from production at their local instances. So far we have tried two approaches:- keeping content managers' and developers' translations in separate dictionaries, the second one is not allowed to edit in production translator. Drawback: need a code deployment every time there is a change needed in the developers' dictionary- building a package with production translations when a developer needs it, so he can install it locally. Drawbac

Hello All - I am trying to build a project using maven archetype 25 which use the package com.adobe.cq.editor.model. If I use the below dependency, it didn't resolve and am getting compilator error saying 'package com.adobe.cq.editor.model does not exist'. Could someone tell me what needs to be used. Note: I am already using 6-5 uber.jar. <dependency><artifactId>com.adobe.cq.editor</artifactId><version>1.3.18</version><groupId>com.adobe.cq</groupId><scope>provided</scope></dependency>

Hi, We are looking to use customer attributes for Target. If we are setting the customer id via the ECID service on login along with auth state - do we also need to set the Target thirdpartyID parameter too? Or can we still target visitors based on customer attributes using just ECID? Thanks

I have a requirement where my site-structure is like this/content     --/mysite              --/us(master)                 --/en/page              --/fr(live-copy)                 --/en/pageon page i have a experience fragment which is pointing to /content/experience-fragments/mysite/us/en/xfon fr site i want this experience fragment to be picked /content/experience-fragments/mysite/fr/en/xfhow can i achieve this??

Is it possible to monitor the transactional messages via the delivery alerting dashboard? I don't see any filtering criteria available for this, any other workaround?

Hello! Can you help me how to embed a Windows program in a pdf? (LiveCycle)Thanks!

I'd love to know if anyone has tracked users via multiple IP addresses on their contact record.  For example, we would like to track a users IP across their devices and locations (e.g. work laptop, work phone, home phone, home computer).  Has anyone has experience tracking this in Marketo, and if so, is the data stored on anonymous IP or on the activity record field 'client IP' (or is there a third option?).  I'd also like to know if Marketo overwrites the data, keeps track of all or how is it managed?

I am currently rebuilding a site's analytics code from scratch and for link tracking, the current implementation relies on CSS selectors with data- attributes. I've used this method in the past, but this makes me reliant on front-end changes, and could be liable to break during any new release. In the past, I've also used custom events passed to me through the front-end, but then that also makes the Launch implementation even more reliant on front-end releases (but less likely to break), thereby circumventing the whole notion of a tag manager. Thoughts? Thank you in advance

Hi, customer wants to use Adobe I/O and has a VIP teams account. Does he need to change to VIP Enterprise to get full functionality of I/O?

I am almost done with the Form from Heck! I have a page that needs to be duplicated when a button is clicked.Ideally, when the button is clicked, a copy of the page will be created, placed at the end of the pdf, with new empty fields ready to be filled in.I used this previous post as a guide and was able to make the button. However, it places the duplicate subform on the same page, and not at the top of a new one.I'm sure I just have something, somewhere, set incorrectly. The page is a landscape master page (Page2). It is set as Flowed, Allow Page Breaks, Pagination is OnPage "Page2" and Binding is set for Repeat Subform for Each Data Item. There is a subform on this page (CurrentandPending_subform) which contains all the elements I'd like to have on the duplicate page. This includes other subforms and a dynamic table and other elements. The settings on this subform are: Flowed, Top to Bottom, Allow Page Breaks; Pagination On Page, "Page2"; Binding Repeat Subform for

Hello,   We're trying to find a better way to automate lead hand-off for the form submissions on our company's Contact Us form. Currently, our Marketo instance is sending alert emails to the EMEA region's marketing mailbox. The EMEA marketing team would like to automate the creation of a lead/contact record in the Salesforce instance they use. However, our Marketo instance is currently synced with a different/separate Salesforce instance, so we can't sync to Salesforce or create a new task from our Marketo into their Salesforce instance. Does anybody know of a workaround to this dilemma?   Maybe there is a third-party integrator that's capable of receiving/storing data from our Marketo and pushing that form submit data via an API call into their Salesforce instance? Here is a possible solution I found online (I think): https://automate.io/bots/create-salesforce-leads-new-google-sheets-rows   I appreciate your feedback, and if there are any questions or concerns plea

Hi all. Trying to determine if it is possible to not have issues display on timesheets. We want 100% of time being entered to be entered onto the task, not the issue for the projects. Additionally, some people may have several dozens of issues at a time, and it would make the timesheet impossible to look at. Any advice?

I have a velocity script token in my email to add 30 days from today's date with a "friendly" date format: "Feb 25, 2021"I also directly include a Date field using its {{lead.token}}: {{lead.Membership End Date:default=end date}}. However, that output is of course not in a "friendly" date format, but in the default system format "2021-01-22".   Sample email copy:  Your membership expired on 2022-01-22; however, if you renew before Feb 25, 2021 we'll be happy to extend your renewal rate.   I know I need to use Velocity to output the Membership End Date instead of using the {{lead.token}} directly but how do I format that field?

I have an issue with the contain filter in my smart campaigns and wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue:   I have a Smart campaign filtering people into Static lists based on a populated field. For example, if someone submits an assignment called "✉️ Skill check: Create a Smart Campaign" they would go into the relevant Static list. In the Smart campaign flow I had If "assignment name" contains "Create a Smart Campaign" add to Static list 1, with a default of add to Static list 00. Everyone coming through the Smart campaign is being added to Static list 00 and I can't figure out why. I've changed the flow to If "assignment name" is "✉️ Skill check: Create a Smart Campaign" add to Static list 1 and it works fine.    Has anyone else experienced any issues with the contain filter, or might it be instance specific and therefore I should submit a ticket?   Thanks, Maddie

Dear Community, According to Adobe docs...The Assets HTTP API allows for create-read-update-delete (CRUD) operations on digital assets, including on metadata, on renditions, and on comments, together with structured content using Experience Manager Content Fragments. It is exposed at /api/assets and is implemented as REST API. It includes support for Content Fragments 1. Does it mean that, a 3rd party application can view everything under asset folder?2. How can I give restricted access to different business units under /api/assets/ For example: content fragment created for specific business unit should be under /api/assets/bu1/. They should have access to assets under this folder only. Any thoughts? Thanks,

I have a regular freeform table working properly below. However, when I attempt to Create Metric from Selection to find the percent change or any change, then the column data drops to zero.  Has anyone seen this issue? Thanks
