Anyone else notice the "Black Listed" fields have been renamed to "Block Listed"?   Not that it makes any difference, just want to make sure I'm not going mad.  They did used to be named Black Listed, right??

We are exploring the use of synonyms to help our search results, but it raises the question of what users are entering for their search.  To my knowledge, I've not seen a preset report for this and nothing ACS AEM Commons - this is for an Assets (Author) only implementation.

I have a success event that fires on form submit. It sets and sends several pieces of data such as the form name, language and so on into evars. This success event is assigned to event1. I'm doing an audit and found out that there are similar success events that also fire on form submit and sends similar data but using a different event number, lets say event2. So in essence I have duplicate events; same kind of success event (form submit) and same evars are set but different event numbers (event1, event2). This is just an exercise in cleaning up AA. I would like to incorporate both events into a single event number. For example, I want to stop using event2 moving forward and so all form submits from now on will be event1. How can I copy old/historical instances of event2 and change them to event1? I was just reading about Data Sources>Full processing. Do I download event2 data, edit them (change event2 to event1), then upload them? Or is there an easier way to do wha

Hi, We have four import workflows where we use the external API activity to fetch new blog content. We need to run these quite often since we can only fetch the latest blog post. My question is if it is most efficient to have four workflows or if you should run them sequentially in one workflow? I think I have seen that it is not good to have several external API activities in the same workflow? But I am also concerned running several workflows often, when it could be one workflow (although including more steps). Br,Filip

We have purchased AEM cloud service for a considerable amount, but the documentation seem to have no information about CDN, other than there is one. Could anyone who already has AEM cloud version, tell us: Which CDN provider they use, e.g. Cloudflare, AkamaiIf we can access the CDN control panel to block specific countriesIf we can access the control panel to white list/blacklist Ips.If we cant access the control panel, If we can request Adobe block specific countries for us, and, if so, what is the process and how long does it take?If the provided CDN includes, without additional cost, bot protection products such as Cloudflare bot manager or Akamai bot manager. If the CDN is cloudflare, if we can add on cloudflare marketplace products such as DataDome.Do we have the ability to flush the CDN caches ourselves. Can we set cache timeouts for individual assets, and for categories of assets (e.g. by type or location)Is this info documented anywhere? Many thanks for any help.

Hey Everyone,I just wanted to share something regarding ordering the AEM Tags under Tagging console (Touch UI) in ascending order. There isn't any OOTB way to do it. However, I tried something and it worked. The solution may not be the most optimal one, but it works.-------------Steps to Do:-------------1) Overlay /libs/cq/tagging/gui/components/admin/endor/datasources/tagsdatasource/tagsdatasource.jspin /apps/cq/tagging/gui/components/admin/endor/datasources/tagsdatasource/tagsdatasource.jsp and then make the changes to the apps' tagsdatasource.jsp file accordingly.2) Code Sample: Added the lines that have comments on their right.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TagManager tagMgr = resourceResolver.adaptTo(TagManager.class);String suffix = slingRequest.getRequestPathInfo().getSuffix();Iterator<Tag> it;List<Tag> listTag = new ArrayList<Tag>(); // Initializing a new List of type Tag.if (suffix == null) {it = ta

Hi Community,I need some help in setting up alerting for our transactional messages in ACS. We are going to define a minimum and maximum threshold for the message and would like to get a notification daily if this threshold is met.I tried doing some set up via delivery resource extension under custome resources but I don't think it works out for transactional messages. Is there any other way around to achieve this?

HI, I need to create Symlinks in my Enabled farm and vhost folder as part of my code repository for Cloud Manager.Previously I used to create them after deployment right in the AEM box by issuing commands: sudo /bin/ln -s /etc/httpd/conf.d/available_vhosts/* /etc/httpd/conf.d/enabled_vhosts/sudo /bin/ln -s /etc/httpd/conf.dispatcher.d/available_farms/* /etc/httpd/conf.dispatcher.d/enabled_farms/ But as per Cloud Manager requirement, I need to create and push the Symlinks as part of the code Repo itself. Any suggestion how to do it locally using IDE like Eclipse/VSCode..?

Hello,   we are promoting a webinar with a registration form and it looks like people with email address with this format something@x.digital are not accepted and they are getting "Please enter a valid email format" error message. Hi,We have configured SAML Authn handler in our AEM 6.5 . We have a public page (ex - /content/test/mypage.html ) which has a link to login page , ex - /content/test/login.html.Login page URL is configured in SAML Authentication handler & Sling Authentication Service. On click of login link, we redirect to http://localhost:4503/content/test/login.html?saml_request_path=http://localhost:4503/content/test/mypage.html . This takes us to Okta IDP login page and Okta then submits SAML response to ACS service configured in AEM viz.  "/content/test/saml_login" but after that we get redirected back to the login page : http://localhost:4503/content/test/login.html?saml_request_path=http://localhost:4503/content/test/mypage.html,instead of going to public page from where login was started http://localhost:4503/content/test/mypage.html.  How can I redirect back to public page , instead of going to login page ?Thanks!

I have an existing form that was created in Designer (Experience Manager-Forms) that has multiple required fields and then has a digital signature box at the end of the form.  Up until recently, the form has always worked great and would not let the user complete the digital signature until all of the required fields were completed.  Is anyone aware of a rencent change in Adobe Reader/Pro that would allow this to happen?  My form will not let you use the "submit by email" button unless all required fields are completed, but will allow for digital signatures without the required fields all being filled out. Thanks.Caleb

Hi,We have a requirement to ensure that <b> are converted to <strong> and <i> are converted to <em> in RTE. I followed the instructions in the post : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17946117/strong-tag-getting-replaced-to-b-tag-in-cq5  and added the nodes as specified. I added the property "b" with value "strong" and property "i" with value "em" to the semanticMarkupMap node. However, I still see <b> on bold text and <i> on Italicized text in RTE.  Has the functionality been changed in AEM 5.6? Is there any more information / documentation available on semanticMarkupMap anywhere? I tried adding property "strong" with value "b". After this, The bold text gets wrapped by <b> initially. but on opening source edit, <b> changes to <strong>, On disabling and enabling source edit, it changes back to <b>. It continues to  alternate between strong and b tags. Thanks,Chaitanya

Hi All,  Is it possible to create a more complex data structure on a Content Fragment Model than what comes OOTB?We are using AEM 6.5 and the data types available when defining a content fragment model are as shown in the screencap. 1. Is it possible to add another datatype, such as a Multifield?2. If not, would a content fragment template be the recommended approach? Would appreciate your insights and expert help. TIA!
