One of the components has reference to "cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/richtext" and I see the below suspicion in the Patter detector results. What would be the fix for this or can this be ignored if the functionality if working as expected?

I was wondering, if an email program settings are finalized / approved, will the smart list still be dynamic & auto-update before the email is sent out?

Hello! I'm trying to set up a new email CC field based off an email field on a Salesforce object (Has Case). I know it's not possible by default, but was trying to think of a creative way to accomplish this and am coming up blank. If it's not possible then I can always set up an alert instead, but wanted to check with the community first in case there is a solution I'm not thinking of?   Thanks in advance!

Hi,Within Adobe Launch, I'm looking to create a property for each section of a website. I would also like to have one global property that is consistent across the site. For example, the global could contain code such as Third-party scripts like Facebook or Advertising networks. The individual properties would be for specific sections such as a homepage or search results page. In this potential implementation, I wouldn't want to load the Adobe libraries twice though. Is this a possibility?

I am doing some verification work for a client site using the Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger tool.I think I have encountered a bug where s.pageType is not shown in the Debugger. One of the pages we track is the 404 page with s.pageType = "errorPage". However, s.pageType is not turning up in the Debugger tool. The following is the recording in the debugger tool:   Experience Cloud Visitor IDXAudience Manager Location Hint3Audience Manager BlobXPage Nameinternational:en:errors:not foundPage URLXServerXChannelXprop1D=v1prop2D=v2prop3D=v3prop4D=v4prop5D=v5prop6D=v6prop8D=v8prop11D=v11prop12D=v12prop13D=v13prop14D=v14prop15D=v15prop16D=v16prop17D=v17prop18D=v18prop19D=v19prop20D=v20prop22D=v22prop23D=v23eVar1RepeateVar2XeVar34PMeVar4FridayeVar5international:en:errors:not foundeVar6XeVar8XeVar1101-16-2018eVar1208-05-2017eVar13XeVar14XeVar15internationaleVar16eneVar17errorseVar18not foundeVar22Guesthier1XCurrency CodeSGDJavascript Version1.6Color Depth24Screen Resolution1920x1080Bro

I am building Launch Data Elements and a rule to capture modal-window opens on one of my sites.I have a event to register the click that opens the modal, and in the Adobe Experience Cloud debugger I see the event, the link_o Link Type, and correct data in the Link Name and Link URL fields.I'd also like to put the Name and URL into eVars.I created the eVars in the Report Suite admin, and Data Elements in Launch. For Link URL, for instance, I have this custom code in the data element:return(s.linkURL);and for Link Text (alot of html is coming in there between the <a> and </a>), so I'm tryingreturn(s.linkName.textContent);And I use those elements to populate the eVars in the event RuleHowever, I don't see this data in the debugger or in Reporting.I should note that the links are selected based on a class ( there are many on the page) but Link Text and Link URL does populate correctly. How can I transfer that data to two eVars? Thanks very much.

Hello everyone, I am getting this error after every rule is fired? Any idea? Thanks

Hello - we've come across the same question a few times from the business and our Adobe Target admins. We're seeking to do some onsite personalization via Adobe Target, using 3p audiences we built using an Audience Marketplace data provider.  Given that these are 3p cookie pools, devices have already qualified for the segment.  So when they land on our website for the first time, will they see the personalized experience (first page) or would need to take an action on our website to qualify?  Many thanks-   Marc K.

Hi all, I'm trying to serialize an event, transactions actually, and whenever I set the eventID the event isn't passed in the call off to Adobe Analytics. I've also tried using purchaseID both set in transactionID in the rule and set using custom code and neither of those approaches works so I'm trying to see if a custom success event will work. If I take the event ID out the event is sent but that doesn't really do what I need. TIA!

Hi all,I have a issue relating the box file transfer. I set the box in "Test to see if file exists" mode and in the server folder i insert the path and the filename: \Campaign\files\test_*.csv, but the workflow doesn't found the file even if present. My opinion is that the wildcard does not work. Please can you suggest or tell me what the problem is?Thanks,Gaetano

Hello all,I'm creating a workflow for a client where daily we will download a file from a SFTP server and update AC database. The file is uploaded to the SFTP server by the client, and it is created automatically and has a dynamic name: file_date.cvs (ie: clients_20180129.csv).Can I use computed name (dynamic name with date variables) on the file name?Did anyone have this problem before?BestRIck Romero

Hi, Once any user  logs in to the author environment how could I get the details of the groups the user is member of. I am using js so wanted to check if there is any json available through which I could get this details. Instead of me building a new code for this. I noticed that for authorizables.json  we need to provide the username.http://localhost:4502/bin/security/authorizables.json?filter=username&_charset_=utf-8 Now if is the case i would need a way to find the user name in the js and then again send the request.  Please let me know as I could resolve this in a better way .  Thanks

This may not be exclusively for AEM, but I would like to know what is the best approach considering the framework.I’m creating an Infinitescroll solution in a JSP fileI have a java class that uses query builder to load content into a jsp page. The class will load a content list based on a search filter. The solutions I found are:By creating a servlet, which I think it will require to refactor the whole business logic.By creating JSONObject and pull from it.By Calling the existing method (Which I favor since this is already loading into the page) Thanks for all your assistance in advance… AEM 6.3.3.8

Hello. I have the license key for AEM 6.5, but unfortunately system got crashed and missed the jar file. Is there a way I can get the file for reinstallation.

Hi Folks, Hope we have many Adobe Campaign experts in this group. I need some help if someone has done it already and provide the code snippet or send me to the right direction. Ask: While sending email deliveries there are some seed addresses which are getting targeted along with the target audience. We want that email which goes to the seed addresses has the subject line prefixed with a text i.e. "Client Name Seed Email: " and to the regular audience it should go with regular subject. Proposed Solution: I believe we can create a control typology rule/Typology to check if the recipient is a seed or not seed and based on that change the subject line. If someone can help in implementing this solution it will be helpful.

Hi There I have a requirement where a I need to add some html blocks to the email template based on the value of some attributes that are populated in the delivery workflow. I have a simple javascript code in the HTML template using an AND condition (&&) but the ampersands are being escaped after saving the template and they are converted into & Original code snippet:<tbody><!-- BEGIN DYNAMIC CONTENT BLOCKS --> <%if(targetData.recommendations1.ocidLink != '' && targetData.recommendations2.ocidLink != '') { %> After saving the template and re-opening it:<tbody><!-- BEGIN DYNAMIC CONTENT BLOCKS --> <%if(targetData.recommendations1.ocidLink != '' && targetData.recommendations2.ocidLink != '') { %> When I run the workflow with that template the delivery fails as the code snippet is broken due to the && code being escaped. I also tried to embed the code in a <script> tag, but u

Hello everyone! I am trying to upload images but the workflow is stuck in processing. A notification was received. Have anyone of you encountered this?

Hello,  Question regarding getting Page Load Time tracking running in Launch and pulling through in Analytics:I've installed the Common Analytics Launch plug-in, specifically to get Page Load Time tracking. Then, I created the rule (per documentation) to "initialize" getPageLoadTime. However, there isn't any documentation as to the 'now what'?Do I create another rule assigning the different values to the Props, Evar & Event?Or do I do it all in the same Rule?Or do I assign what info goes to which variables in the Adobe Analytics extension? If so, where? Hope this question makes sense. Would greatly appreciate the help, as I believe this is easier than I'm making it out to be Hahaha Best,

Hi folks, Further to my "I'm intrigued" conversation about User Photos with @John O'Sullivan‚ last week, I have (moments ago) noodled out a way to show a user's Initials if they have not yet set their photo, as shown below. Although I've not yet packaged it up, if you'd be interested in obtaining this solution for your instance, please let me know either here or via doug.denhoed@atappstore.com Regards,Doug
