We've noticed recently that we and some of our clients have started seeing the error "You don't have access to this global dimension" when trying to fetch visitor-related fields (such as Visitor ID). We checked and verified that the user we are using to log into Adobe Analytics should have rights to see those fields in the Admin Console and the report suites they are used in, yet we still get the error. Is there something else we are missing with the settings/permissions required for access? Thank you!

hi,I have a problem with the Seed list. I extend the schema SeedMember with a new field (userID) of recipient, this is OK. I put a Seed in a delivery and it's work ok.  The problem is when i put Seed Addresses in a campaign.  Attribute 'userID' unknown (see definition of element '/seedList/seedMember/custom_nms_recipient' in schema 'Campaigns (nms:operation)').----XML-110013 Error line 0, column 0 (document with schema 'input')----The graphical component 'treeEdit0' has generated an error.  I think that the problem is the schema 'Campaigns (nms:operation)' have to point to the extend of SeedMember and not to nms:SeedMember. Someone can help me ? Thanks !

Hi, I was wondering about this situation and I found the answer in this post: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Add-Field-to-Unique-Constraint/m-p/171236#M121709but I also wanted to know if we were to change the unique constraint to be email AND first and last name, what would happen if the name fields were blank ? Would it input as null? would it input as empty string? or would it just outright fail to process?

Hi there, We're wondering about the benefits of switching to 1st-party aam_uuid cookie if we're already using the visitor ID service (with CNAMEs) and have server-side-forwarding enabled. Does anybody knows more? Thanks in advance and best,Jones

Hi,I am looking to automate sending reports to a group of recipients at the end of a campaign.I am basing this off of THIS use case. I have some queries and questions. In the Javascript there are two different code examples available in that use case, one in the screen shot and the other in the example code snippet. I can get neither to work. Am I right in thinking there is an ';' missing from the code after _reportContext={reportName} />? If so could the fix be posted?var reportName = "deliveryFeedback"; var path = "C:\\"+"deliveryFeedback"+".pdf"; var exportFormat = "PDF"; isAdHoc = false; var _ctx = <ctx _context="global" _reportContext={reportName} />xtk.report.export(reportName,_ctx,exportFormat,path,isAdHoc)Second. The linked use case seems to store a file onto a local drive and then picks this up in the delivery. Is there a simple way to pass this over in the delivery and not involve downloading onto a local drive? My initial attempts to replicate the method I've used to

Hello all,I wanted to confirm this. I know AEM has out of the box support for Single Sign On using SAML (https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/deploy/configuring/single-sign-on.html). However, we have a requirement where the client prefers to use OAuth for Single Sign On instead of SAML.Is that possible in AEM 6.1 (vanilla) Out of the box? Or would we have to implement a customer login module to do that?Thank you.Sagar Sane

Hello, We have two different nodes for tags under /etc/tags. We want to customize the search facets based upon the path.for instance: if the user is in path: /content/dam/test1 then the search facets should fetch the results of tags from the node1 (/etc/tags/node1) if the user is in path: /content/dam/test2 then the search facets should fetch the results of tags from the node2 (/etc/tags/node2) Is this possible to do if yes, please guide me for the same  Thanks

When i have my projects page open, does anyone know what the difference between these two filters are? "My Projects" and "Projects i own" When i use "projects I own" it shows all the projects I have created. When I use "my projects" it shows all the projects have created and a few more. Ones that I am not or shouldn't be part of. Trying to determine the different between those two filters.

Hi All,I want to add the 'disabled' attribute to textarea tag by checking whether the read-only field functionality is enabled or not. If the user wants the textarea to appear as disabled, I have to add the disabled attribute to the textarea tag.Is it possible to add this attribute without a value? Currently, I use the code:  <textarea disabled="${properties.disabled}"></textarea>  But when I use this code, I get my resulting tag look like this in html:  <textarea disabled="true"></textarea>  I want the disabled attribute without a value like the below code after checking whether the user had enabled "${properties.disabled}" or not.  <textarea disabled></textarea>  Kindly help me figure a way to add the attribute by checking for the condition without adding a value along with the attribute.

Hello, I saw the discussion about getting pixel tracking to work on the submit button correctly here. and down below:   MktoForms2.whenReady(function(form){ var liPixelsrc="https://dc.ads.linkedin.com/whatever/the/img/url/is"; form.onSuccess(function(vals, thankYouURL){ var liPixel = new Image(); liPixel.onload = function(e){ document.location.href = thankYouURL; }; liPixel.src=liPixelSrc; return false; }); });     I've applied this the best way I could to my current landing page. The only difference is I added a Marketo variable to the tracking URL and I also don't want a follow up/thank you URL. I just want to hide the form and have some text come up.This worked before I applied the tracking pixel method in there. I also moved a few things around. I have some basic knowledge of JS but am still not understanding what's going on wrong... Now when I fill out the form it seems that the page just refreshes instead of giving a thank you message

Is it possible to run a report for only Active Users? I can't figure out which filter to use for this. We are running an hours report for teams, but are seeing the deactivated users in the report as well with 0 hours. Can we just run reports for active users? Thanks for your help!

Any documentation or examples on how to use the new property "Synchronized Attributes (~synchronizeAttributes)" ?

I have a forms experience setup on me homepage using the global mbox. I've setup click tracking but I'm not seeing the metrics aggregate in reporting. I have a backup metric that counts pageviews of the pages where the links go. So I know users are seeing these pages but the clicks aren't registering as I would expect. See below for more details.   I'm tracking clicks using the following script (there are five buttons across five image carousel slides).   // Adobe Target Tracking document.querySelectorAll('li.glide__slide div.info a').forEach(link => { link.addEventListener('click', event => { adobe.target.trackEvent({ "mbox": "July2020_CarouselTest", "params": { "ctaClick": link.getAttribute('href') } }); }) }); I can see the mbox request when I use Adobe Experience Platform Debugger and click one of the elements. See the sc

Hi, I am creating a custom video component. In cq dialog, added file upload module and droptarget. In HTML we are getting the file url with ${properties.fileNameParameterReference} So this works fine if I am dropping a  video from DAM but not when direct upload. So on time of direct upload fileNameParameterReference is empty but for image there is a Image model with ${image.src} we are able to get it. is there any same way for video too??

I have a couple of questions revolving around what Adobe Sensei function can do.  I was told that the more assets I load into the AEM DAM the quicker the Sensei AI will learn about how to smart tag my assets.  I have questions off of that below. -If I add a manual Tags to assets in my DAM does and or can the Sensei AI learn from the tags added manually?-If I remove smart tags that were added to assets that were inaccurate during a Sensei AI scan of my assets can or does the AI learn from smart tags being removed?

Hi all - I'm looking to run a report that will show the number of active projects within each Portfolio - INCLUDING Portfolios with 0 active projects. We would like a way to identify Portfolios that are no longer being used. Thanks in advance!

We tried to update our CORS configuration in AEM 6.5.0.0 according to this help article: Adobe Experience Manager Help | Understanding Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) with AEM .But this does not seem to work (anymore). If we follow the guide and add it to your package and deploy it again. It does not recognize it as an instance of the CORS configuration factory component. We have the same issue with adding a custom Logging to the LogFactory, as documented here: Monitoring and Maintaining Your AEM instance Do you have the same issue? We haven't tested it yet with the latest AEM 6.4.x.Thanks for support.
