Hi All, We have a component where we have added a config dialog using below code in template JSP :   <script type="text/javascript" id="cq-gen73"> CQ.WCM .edit({ "path" : "${currentNode.path}/config", "dialog" : "<path>/config_dialog", "type" : "", "csp" : "", "editConfig" : { "listeners" : { "afteredit" : "REFRESH_PAGE" }, } }); </script>  While we access the page in touch UI above config dialog does not appear. Any quick solution on how to fix and show the dialog in touch UI mode as well? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, We are planning a mass merge of duplicates in SDFC. During the tests, we saw that many campaigns were triggered after the merge. We have more than 400 active triggered campaigns where the user can run through the flow more than once.   Is there any way we can deactivate the trigger of the full list of these campaigns at once only during the mass merge? Is it possible the merge to trigger campaigns with current status inactive?   Thank you in advance for your help!

Adobe SPA SDK provides implementation of ResponsiveGrid which is already mapped to wcm/foundation/components/responsivegridIn case I want to extend it, how am I supposed to do it? It is not very documented anywhere.I'm referring to newly updated ResponsiveGrid which is coming with 1.0.0 of@adobe/aem-react-editable-componentsOne example I found was suggesting something like this:export class MyGrid extends ResponsiveGrid { render() { return ( <div {...this.containerProps}> <div className="MyGrid-message">Welcome to my Custom Grid!</div> { super.childComponents } { super.placeholderComponent } </div> ) }} But that didn't work. It renders the "welcome..." text, but no placeholder for adding new components.

Hi All, I kindly need a help if someone has any idea. I have recently worked on search implementation for a multi site setup. It is working fine on all languages ( arabic, french, japanese) except specifically on chinese. I have used Query builder API along with Lucene indexing. I debugged but the query won't give any result on any query with chinese characters. I have tested on http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/search/content/querydebug.html .  If you have any idea to overcome this issue please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, We have written a custom preprocessor that gets invoked on page publish to identify if a particular component is present on the page and invoke a workflow for approval before page activation. This all works fine but the custom 'ReplicationException' is not showing up in the page. It shows up in the sites/siteadmin section when i click on "quick publish" button, but the exception is not showing up in the actual page when i click on "Publish Page". In the actual page, it only says "ERROR: Failed to publish the selected page(s)" I am on AEM 6.4.6.0, any idea why this behavior?

We configured Microsoft Translate Service which is the default service in AEM and we use "Machine Translation" which can be able to translate i18n, Page Metadata. But we want to translate Asset content as well. We just imported text files, ms word file, PDF file but the translate service only translates the asset metadata alone not the asset content.Do I need to configure something to translate the asset content as well or this the limitation. Our main goal is to translate the DITA XML Assets, in the document it says it is possible to translate the asset but we need to enable "Component-Based Translation" in Config Manager. No luck after setting this property as well. Thanks advance if someone gives the solution.

I have this content hierarchy (see below). If I were to manually drag/drop components before and after the RTE component, the new components also show as before/after the RTE. I want to programmatically add a new node (as an example, a reference component) and I already know how to create new node that as I got existing code I can use as a base. But what I do not know is how make sure it's added before/after the RTE as the order matters. Thanks!

I am looking for help from anyone who has run AEM Communities, on how to best optimize for performance.  An AEM Communities site I am supporting, backed by MongoDB & SolrCloud (MSRP) is running into severe performance constraints.  The performance constraints stem from the sheer number of calls our blog pages are making back to Solr, and I've not found any good way as yet to optimize such. The site primarily uses Communities for blog post likes, comments and comment likes, on which the out-of-the-box components are being used.  The site also uses Communities for user forums.  The issues we're facing here stem from the fact that on an average blog post page with, say, 25 comments on it (10 of which are being displayed, rest are hidden behind comment pagination) as well as 3 post likes, AEM then generates 88 backend calls to Solr.  Minimally, this seems to include:At least one call for every displayed comment (sometimes more)At least one call p

How can I get the current page path e.g. /content/site/en/pageName or the current component path e.g. /content/site/en/pageName/jcr:content/component from within a dialog field validator (foundation.validation.validator)registry.register("foundation.validation.validator", {    selector: "[data-foundation-validation=someValidator]",    validate: function(el) {     // Some code to get page or component URL to make AJAX call    }});

Hi All,Here's my requirement.I have a component which is invoking the servlet via an Ajax call.I would like to get the path of this component's instance under the page in the servlet.If test is the page and comp1, comp2 are the instances of the same component dragged and dropped twice in the parsys called par,I would like to get the path /content/test/jcr:content/par/comp1 in my servlet invoked from comp1, similarly /content/test/jcr:content/par/comp2 for comp2.Alternatively, I am currently achieving this by using the resource HTL Global Object ${resource.path} in the JavaScript which gives the path of the current resource instance and passing it as a request parameter to the servlet.But this is not admissible as I am trying to eliminate any query parameters being passed to the servlet due to caching constraints.Is there a way to get path of the component instance under par which invokes the servlet at the back-end???Please Help!!

Hi, everyone! I am starting to work in AEM and I was required to implement experience fragments functionality on a classic UI project for migration to Touch UI. Currently, I am working with AEM 6.5, I have already created my editable templates configuration under the /conf folder as the official documentation recommends https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/developing/platform/templates/page-templates-editable.html. However I am facing the following problems: 1. None of my layout containers is displaying the option "insert component". 2. When I try to access the "Edit Template" option in Page information icon on my page editor toolbar, it does not redirect me to the corresponding editable template, I mean, nothing happens.3. This behavior is present as well in the We-retail OOTB project of my instance that neither shows the emulator option on the page editor toolbar. I am assuming that is some configuration of my project but not a cl

I have need to build a JSON representation of the content hierarchy represented in AEM.I'm trying to use the SlingRequestProcessor to return the rendered JSON of a target page as a string I can use to insert into a larger JSON object.I'm finding that the SlingRequestProcessor works as intended when retrieving the HTML representation of a page, but does not return anything when requesting a JSON response for the same page:This example returns the HTML of the page correctly:SlingRequestProcessor requestProcessor = sling.getService(SlingRequestProcessor.class); RequestResponseFactory requestResponseFactory = sling.getService(RequestResponseFactory.class); HttpServletRequest servrequest = requestResponseFactory.createRequest("GET", "/content/geometrixx-media/en/entertainment.html"); ByteArrayOutputStream servout = new ByteArrayOutputStream(); HttpServletResponse servresponse = requestResponseFactory.createResponse(servout); requestProcessor.processRequest(servrequest, servresponse, resourc
