After Create the XF from dynamic template and create the variation of the experience fragment. The Component is fine there is no container class in the publish view but when I export to target in the target i am getting extra container class above the component html structure that create the UI of the component distorted. Can anyone have an idea about why it is coming in the target. Thanks

Hi Team, I just created a brand new AEM project (referring to WKND Tutorial) and created one template, component and few sample pages. I have used my custom component along with few out of box core component to create pages. After creating pages in author I tried “View as Published Page” option and everything looks good. Once done, I started a brand new publisher instance on another port and installed newly created project on publisher instance. After installation of package on publisher I am noticing that assets referred via any of components, out of box or the custom is not appearing on page. I verified and could see the node present from CRXDE of publisher and even logged in as admin to publisher to rule out any access conflict. 1102 TIMER_END{80,ResourceResolution} URI=/language-masters/en/myproject/abcdPage/_jcr_content/root/responsivegrid_2041874655/responsivegrid_1344640622/carousel/item_1587246455642.coreimg.png/1587841266885/carousel-replace-02.png resolves

we have a customer requirement to upload workd documents in AEM, they want to directly view the document in the page, do we have any OOTB component in AEM which can add the word document and users can see the contents of the document.

Hi Team, Can anyone help what would be perfect way to achieve this requirement:We have number of OSGi services in our project and divided into 2 sets.Based on a parameter passed during build, we need to enable one set of OSGi services and disable other set.For Example:We have OSGi service1, service2, service3, service4.If param == enableFirstSet ----> then enable service1 & service2If param == enableSecondSet ----> then enable service3 & service4 Also,I have tried below code in activate method to deactivate individual services  based on param but the problem is their attached OCD(configuration) still available in OSGi configuration tab as those configurations attached at bundle level rather than component level. context.disableComponent((String) properties.get(Constants.SERVICE_PID)); Any pointer will be good.

What is the difference between "Average Page Views per Visit" and "Page Views / Visits"? Both are out of the box metrics (though the latter is a calculated metric). Just wondering if there is a difference or why two exist.

Dear all,  I have a question regarding the Form Additional Informations. We want to have more information on the contact forms which are implemented on our campaign pages. In all of our contact forms there is a dropdown list with the name of some dealers. My client wants to see how many requests we have per dealer. Is there a dimension or a metric where we could select the link of the form and the measure  "contains" and the available names? Could we have this possibility? Thank you in advance, Kind regards, Vicky

Reserved variables are defined as "Reserved Variable - Indicates whether the data is captured as an event, eVar, prop, or classification in a reserved variable." When a Parameter is listed as Reserved Variable: eVar, does this mean:1. This parameter can only be mapped to an eVar2. Adobe will automatically create a new OOB eVar available in reporting when this parameter is implemented If 2. is true, does the new Parameter count against a licensee's limited number of Custom eVars?

I see how one can start a session with ACPGriffon. (eg -> ACPGriffon.startSession(url))How can one check for an active session? And better yet listen for session changes, such as disconnections inside the app/client? No documentation indicates this is possible, and the ACPGriffon.h file has no indication either.

I need to export page as zip file programatically and i used Page Exporter interface and its export(page, resourceResolver, targetPath) method, but, its not happening.I found the zip file under /var/contentsync node, but that has only html in it, no clientlibs, no assets.I tried to delete the nodes under /var/contentsync, but of no use. ThanksAnkita A

I hit publish but it does not give me a link with the url. how do i find the live url?

Hello everyone, does anyone know if there is a way to make the rendered html more readable?. I mean, properly tabulated and ordered.I'm using sigthly and the markup of each component is well tabulated on the app code. But I understand that the rendering engine is modifying that indentation and rendering an html that is not ordered and indenting.an example<html> <head></head> <body> <div><span> </span></div> </body> <footer> <div> </div> </footer> </html>instead of something like this <html> <head></head> <body> <div> <span></span> </div> </body> <footer> <div></div> </footer> </html> Is that posible without add an extra html processor or something similar to that? Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,I've got a specific question regarding Message Center in Adobe Campaign Classic. One of our customers would like to restrict the sending of emails through Message Center on his Stage/Sandbox environment. No matter what email is used in an API call to the Message Center, the outgoing emails shall all be sent to a specific inbox (e.g. sandbox-test@company.com). Can anyone think of a way to achieve this? Maybe setup a typology rule that overwrites the target email address of the initial API call? I know it is possible to restrict the email sendout on a ACC sandbox in general, I just have no clue how this can be done 🙂I would be very thankful for any hints. Kind regards, Marcel

Hello All,      Our project is being run on AEM 6.4 with SP7 service pack.     Content authors are uploading the assets in bulk and after asset upload, they open each image and set few custom metadata(ex: asset expiration date).     We have created a custom workflow for setting these custom metadatas.     We have  configured workflow launcher to trigger this custom workflow (both on node:created and node:modified events)      The issue we are facing here is : When user updates some metadata on image, dam-xmp-writeback workflow will be triggered (as it is configured in workflow launcher for node:modified event), at the same time our custom workflow is also triggered.     Hence, for few assets, we are getting this exception javax.jcr.version.VersionException: Cannot set property. Node is checked in. since both the workflows will be trying to act

Hi,I have created some Event Based Rules to track critical conversion activities. Currently the Custom Event Variables I with these rules are set to "Record Once Per Visit".My preference is to record these events once per Visitor.I see there is another option to "Use Event ID" and I can see an option in my Event Based Rules to "Serialize from value".How do I use this option?I would like serialize using the "Marketing Cloud Visitor ID" (MCVID). What do I type into that box? If it helps, I'm capturing the MCVID in an eVar.Thanks,Ali

We wanted to build a website in AEM using a combination of React, Core and custom components. We are learning AEM SPA and not sure if we can do this? Built the base project using AEM Archetype 24-SNAPSHOT using "react" as frontend.  Based on this https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/developing/headless/spas/spa-overview.html looks like we cannot add non-spa components to a SPA Editor based template. Is there any way to add regular/core components to a SPA Editor template? What are our other options? Some we can think of..Make all regular/core components as React components then use them on the templates, so they are editable?Build non-spa editor and add React components there. Authors cannot edit the React components?Build static templates with react and other non-spa components added to it?

Hi,I want to integrate drupal 8 to use the content in email for various campaigns.  Any lead would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi All, We have made necessary changes in Adobe Cross Origin Sharing Configuration policy in configMgr. Also we have added "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" in headers file under dispatcher.any but we are still facing this below issue. when we try to hit the java script of salesforce component from aem. Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://xxxxxxxx.com/c/createClassLightningOut.app?aura.format=JSON&aura.formatAdapter=LIGHTNING_OUT' from origin 'xxAEM DEV AUTHORxxx.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.   Thanks,Sagar

Hi Forum,  We have a scene7 classic integration and we are uploading assets to scene7 through AEM DAM.  Upload works fine when the users upload asset in burst of 5-10 assets. But if DAM author submit 50-100 assets, assets dont appear on scene7.  Is this an issue with scene7 upload process (I am not able to find any documentation on scene7uploadprocess) ? Or is this an issue with DAM update asset workflow ?  Is there a recommendation on scale of upload ?
