The idea is to have a centralized notification program for internal notifications. Tokens are used in the content for the mail. ( e.g. the subject for the notification )I have defined a token at the highest level :  {{my.Notification_Title}} A certain operational program overrides the value for that token , when the operational program is triggered,  a smart campaign in my centralized notification program is called. I was expecting the "local" updated {{my.Notification_Title}} to appear in the mail sent, but i see the default value from the definition at the highest level.What am i doing wrong here?

What happens if two records exist in the system with the same email address? How does the Communication Limit handle that? Which option?Option 1 (ideal): Does it work like the Durable Unsub where anyone with that email address is blocked? Option 2: Will skip the first record and send to the second email? ExampleCommunication limit set to 1 email per week.DupsJohn Smith (jsmith@abccompany.com)Jonathan Smith (jsmith@abccompany.com) EmailsBoth John Smith (jsmith@abccompany.com) and Jonathan Smith (jsmith@abccompany.com)  qualify for an email on 11/1. Marketo picks one of those records and sends the email.Both John Smith (jsmith@abccompany.com) and Jonathan Smith (jsmith@abccompany.com)  qualify for an email on 11/2. Which option happens?Option 1. Marketo recognizes jsmith@abccompany.com as being sent an email on 11/1. No emails are sent because of the Communication limit (Ideal)Option 2. Marketo recognizes John Smith record as being sent an email. That record is not sent an emai

In ACC WebApp I am trying to get the number of days between System date and Offer date with the below syntax but I dont get anything, even tried converting just to "%2M/%2D/%4Y" that also does not work when used with DaysDiff function.  ctx.vars.OfferDate= formatDate(ctx.recipient.Offer_Date,"%2M/%2D/%4Y %02H:%02N:%02S");ctx.vars.SysDate = formatDate(getCurrentDate(),"%2M/%2D/%4Y %02H:%02N:%02S")ctx.vars.datediff = DaysDiff(ctx.vars.OfferDate, ctx.vars.SysDate ) Also tried javascript  syntax, this also does not workctx.vars.SysDt=ctx.vars.SysDate.getTime();ctx.vars.OfferDt =ctx.vars.OfferDate.getTime(); ctx.vars.Time_Diff = ctx.vars.SysDt - ctx.vars.OfferDt;ctx.vars.Date_Diff = ctx.vars.Time_Diff/(1000 * 3600 * 24);

Hi , We're in the process of converting all of our Classic UI dialogs to Touch UI using the dialog conversion tool. We're using the showhide xtype in a lot of our form field components and we're looking for an equivalent or alternative widget for the Touch UI. Any suggestions?Description about showhide xtype widgets:-I'm referring to the specific showhide xtype which handles show/hide logic for the HTML elements in a web form, not widgets in a dialog. The values captured in this xtype are passed along to the Abacus JS which handles form logic for components that extend OOTB form field components. Below is a screenshot of the showhide xtype. Clicking that checkbox in the background dialog opens the 2nd dialog that allows authors to configure show/hide logic for elements that are present on the web form.Dialog screen shot:- ThanksJeetendra

Hi Members,In my current project template policies are named like policy_<some hash> but I have created one template policy with different naming convention like in below image with RED underlined, when I deploy the code with -PautoInstallPackage maven profile it does not deploy that policy with different naming convention.So my question is that is there any place where I need to make this policy or naming convention enable to be picked up by Maven ? Looking for your kindly response.ThanksUmesh Thakur

When we re-order by dragging pages by the handles in list view into Alphabetical order in AEM, it always shows in the timeline that the author "moved" the page.  Is that expected behavior.  ?

Is there a solution that can provide an Active-Active Authoring configuration for AEM, with 1 Author node inside the china firewall, and 1 Author node outside the china firewall?The result would be to allow users inside the China firewall to access the CMS with the node inside the china firewall, and all users outside the china firewall to access the CMS with the node outside the china firewall.This way the content can be shared across the 2 regions? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Luciano.

Hi All,We are using AEM 6.4.8. For the Assets(http://localhost:4502/assets.html/content/dam), the "reordering" of the assets is not working in List View. This behavior is not experienced in Pages(sites.html). Is anyone experiencing this issue? Let me know If anyone have similar Issue or anyone have any solution. Thanks,Prince.

Hi everyone,I am getting the following error message in the past 3 days. Anyone familiar with it or have any ideas on fixing it? Lena

Hi, I am trying to build an SPA with Angular in AEM. Adobe has done a good job in giving step too step instructions on how to build one. However, I am trying to understand how does the AEM Clientlib generator work exactly while compiling the Angular JS and CSS files to be included as ClientLibs in the ui.apps module. I would love to know more about it to see if there are any customizations I am able to do to it and also the core functionality of it as well. Any information you might be able to provide would be of great help. Thanks for the help in advance.

I am planning to send an email to customers who are in their sales cycle, its information is stored and fetched from our CRM The expectation is when the customer clicks on reply to address the email of the sales manager must be populated and not a generic address is it possible? Also, does it harm ip or domain reputation in any manner?

Dear members,Problem#1: I have uploaded the SVG images in DAM but it's not generating the thumbnails. Problem#2: They don't even appear when I search them in the side-panel(in order to author it on the page):Problem#3: When I copy the svg asset path from the dam and author it(or add it in the back end[crx/de]), it appears onto the page but when I open the dialog, it doesn't preview: Can anyone please help me with this? Much appreciate the help and thanks in advance. BTW, once I place the correct path, the image appears on the page:@arunpatidar @ahmedmusallam, your valuable thoughts on this ? Thanks, Bilal.

Hi there, I am creating complex document, where the amount of pages depedns from user. Also there is a lot of footnotes in it (placed in Master Pages). Some of them, which should appear when the normal text fild is visible, I made as exaple below (written at layout:ready on footnote subform).But I also have some footonotes which depend from dropdown list, f.ex. only when value = 3 it shows, else hidden. Please kindly advise.  if(xfa.layout.page(this) == xfa.layout.page (textfield)){this.presence ="visible";}else {this.presence ="hidden";}

Is there any procedure to sort the assets in DAM by alphabetically while loading the page itself not by filtering options and also the same for site admin pages too.And we're using AEM 6.4 version

Hi All, we are facing issues in fetching rte custom plugins in the component when there is case of double inheritance in the component dialog. Following is the scenario We have a global module as shown below. 2. we have another module in which we have master text component which inherits the custom rte plugins defined in the Master project as shown in the below image. 3. In the same module (my project-1), we have another component which inherit a tab from the dialog of master text component for title subtitle and description. as shown in below image 4. Issue that we are facing here is when we drag and drop master text component in the page we are able to see all the custom rte plugins in the component dialog. But when we are including the custom component on the page, we are getting only default rte plugins and not the custom plugins defined in the global module. Please let me know if we need any special configuration for this. Thanks,Gajanan&nbs

Hi We are already capturing visitor id information inside our website. We want to pass the visitor id information in a third-party form embedded in our website. Any way of doing that? A good example will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Roy

Hi, I am having a challenge for pull the sales numbers from adobe analytics. Would be great if anyone can throw your answers "how many purchases do visitors make before they purchase a mobile? Kind regards,Rajaash

I have a question coming from our BI Department and I am not sure I can answer them as I am not 100% sure, Quention below, Can you tell us the difference between the DELIVERY_CONTACT_DATE and EVENT_DATE in the delivery log? We are using EVENT_DATE in the delivery log, but when we match it to the tracking log, there’s opens or clicks with a LOG_DATE before the EVENT_DATE that’s in the delivery log. When compared to the DELIVERY_CONTACT_DATE, the EVENT_DATE seems to be different and it’s sometimes multiple days after the DELIVERY_CONTACT_DATE. I’m running some numbers to see how often it happens that I can follow-up with but figured I’d get this over to you to see if you had any insight. Thank you

In AEM 6.0, whenever I install any package it overwrites existing structure on the server. I am creating package and tried with different options such as merge, mergepreserve but it always overwrite existing contents while installing package.For eg: If  "testpackage" has /content/test/pages in it and target author instance has test pages /content/test/pages/existingpage. After installing "testpackage" on target author instance, I would like to preserve "existingpage" under content path /content/test/pages.How can I achieve that?I tried diffferent options provided in package manager but nothing worked - please find screenshot enclosed.

Is there a way that the dropdown select values can be taken from the CRM values ?(other than manual input)

Hi, Similar question as inserting the lead.Id in the CTA url. I would like to insert the email address of the lead however I have tried 2 ways; and cannot seem to get the email address to show in the URL once the CTA is clicked.  I have tried creating an Email Script token, then selecting Email Address under Person>Standard Objects. Upon selection, it generates ${lead.Email} within the token. I tried placing the token into my CTA url however it did not work.  I tried removing the token and inserting the following:  ${lead.Email}{{lead.Email}}{lead.Email}                          into the url - all following my non-Marketo LP. (using bbc as example) - bbc.com/${lead.Email} however here I lose the email address in the url. {{lead.Email}} returns an error saying it doesn't exist. While bbc.com/{lead.Email} returns the following URL: bbc.co.uk/%7Blead.Email%7D?mkt_tok=

Hi All, Is there a way in ACS to consume cloud exposed API's? Not SFTP and external API activity as it is beta version and the ability for external api activity is to pass a value from ACS DB to fetch details from 3rd party API. My use case is to receive data from the cloud APIs exposed. Thanks,cl
