I am investigating the feasibility of overriding the Context Aware values using OSGi configurations as stated in this document https://sling.apache.org/documentation/bundles/context-aware-configuration/context-aware-configuration-override.html#override-via-osgi-configuration Essentially this is for having different values based on run mode configurations. Not for production environment. For example, I am taking the a sample implementation created by Jörg here. If I want to overwrite the value of the property 'approverGroup' in  caconfig file following the above doc by providing a run mode config for the factory for e.g  org.apache.sling.caconfig.impl.override.OsgiConfigurationOverrideProvider-test1. Is the value for 'overrides' property something like this to do the job. I tried below and it doesn't seem to work. Or am I missing something else?[/content/test/en]de.joerghoh.cqdump.caconfig.workflow.CaConfigParticipantStepChooserConfig/approverGroup =os

Hi All, I have a situation where I want a third party messaging automation platform connect with ACS and trigger sending an email through ACS. There exists connectors in the marketing platform and I am here to know more how to about doing it. Basically, we want to use another platform as the brain to send out messages across different channels. The contexts reside in the other platform but email functionality is through ACS. Any information related to this will be immensely helpful. Thanks

Is it possible to use Static and Editable templates under one same JCR Site structure? For example, the out of the box we-retail project uses editable templates. I'm trying to create a static template for the we-retail site; its not showing on the page creation page. This is a new author AEM 6.4 build, without any customizations. In the screenshot below, it indicates that I've created a new AEM static template, and set allowedPaths to allow template to be used under /content/*... On page creation, the template is not showing; only the editable templates are showing. What to do?

Hi all,I have to create emails & LP templates that will support different alphabets (Cyrillic, traditional Chinese, Japanese, Arabic + standard alphabet). No segmentation on language existing or possible. Anyone has ever been through this situation? Any tips before I start? Things to avoid?Cheers!

Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to apply filtering rules during sending? i am noticing when i am doing a pre-run we have a 'clean' list with no blacklist recipients but when i come to check the day after the newsletter has gone out I'm seeing that some recipients have blacklisted us since our last pre-run 9 hours before..is this a common problem?

Hi guys, It is possible to insert a date (in a new field) once a recipient's field is updated, for instance, the blacklist field? So we can check when a user opted-in or opted-out? Thank you! Regards,Raúl

Requirement is to show components of Page-A to specific user group therefore we need to apply business logic where model.json is getting generated ? Any pointers on how to do this ?Currently when /content/xyz/en.model.json is generated, it checks components on each page and call the sling model for those component. Before calling, i want to check some user info and then call the sling model else skip it.

Hi there, I am trying to query data from javascript like below: var query = NLWS.xtkQueryDef.create( {queryDef: {schema: "nms:recipient", operation: "select", select: { node: [{expr: "@id"}, {expr: "@label"}, {expr: "@internalName"}] }, where: { condition: [{expr: "@id='16'"}] } }}) So for the above query, if I have another table which is nms:userEmail. And I want to inner join this table with the current one(which is the one that shows above in the js code(nms:recipient)), and get the joined table. How can I do that here? What the query should be like? Thank you!

Hello everyone, We are trying to dynamically add bins to a cube using enumerations (Reference : https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-classic/using/reporting/designing-reports-with-cubes/concepts-and-methodology.html#calculating-and-using-aggregates). What we want to do is when ever there is a new value in a particular column that is used for binning, a bin should be created automatically in the cube. This can be done by using enumerations (refer the about link). But then again we will have to insert the value manually in the enumeration. So is there any way to insert/ update enumeration, enumeration values and enumeration alias using a workflow? I have tried to do it using update activity(on xtk enumeration values schema) and it indicates that the values have been updated/ added once the workflow is finished. But when I check in the enumeration, no changes can be seen. Any suggestion would be helpful. Regards,Jayesh

Hi, I have added max limit 5 for multifield dialog validation but after reaching the message it is showing red border around the dialog but fields still can be added.  Please find the below code snippet for dialog validation:  (function ($, window, document) {$(window).adaptTo("foundation-registry").register("foundation.validation.validator", {// check elements that has attribute data-foundation-validation with value starting with "multifield-max"selector: "[data-foundation-validation^='max']",validate: function (el) {debugger;// parse the max number from the attribute value, the value maybe something like "multifield-max-6"var validationName = el.getAttribute("data-validation")var max = validationName.replace("max-", "");max = parseInt(max);var ui = $(window).adaptTo("foundation-ui");// el here is a coral-multifield elementif (el.items.length > max) {return "Max allowed items is "+ max}}});})($, window, document);  The validation message is there

Hi Team, If we create a workflow view folder, We are able to see all workflows from our environment. Because this workflows are stored in xtl:workflow schema. But delivery template and delivery are stored in same schema nms:delivery. But how it gets differentiated as delivery or delivery template? Or, if i need to query all deliveries (and not delivery template) or only delivery template (and not deliveries), how can i query it in nms:delivery schema? Thanks and regards,ParthaSarathy.

We need to take a report from monitoring options in tools (libs/granite/operations/content/monitoring/page.html) is this possible in AEM, is there any external tool needed ?

Hi,I have created a component that works fine with my static template but shows some unexpected variations ( e.g.- wrong positioning, cannot be resized, cannot be deleted, without CSS properties, etc.) when used in an editable template. And also the same components show different variations for different editable templates. How can I make a component to show the same behaviour in editable templates as in static templates? Please feel free to ask in case more information is required.

I have a schema with a string field of length 2100.In enrichment, an expression field is added which does a substring of that field such as this: Substring(@recommendation, 101, Length(@recommendation)-100)  This is the error I get:03/03/2020 12:01:29 PM enrich PostgreSQL error: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(255) Which mean the WKF field is created with length of 255, while the source of that expression field is much longer than that. Is there a way to define the length for the expression field or maybe controlling the WKF field length instead?

Hi Team, I am very new to the AEM and trying to see how can we generate the barcodes in AEM Forms. Is this possible to generate based on the adaptive form? A little bit of guidance suffice. Thanks In Advance.

For my particular use case, I work at a higher ed institution and am setting up an internal alert email to the student's Academic Advisor when they unsubscribe from emails.  I've set up an alert email that is triggered when the Data Value Changes for attribute "Unsubscribed" to New Value = True and everything seems to be working ok.  The one concern I have is that the footer of the email (that is default added in by Marketo) says that this email was sent to the student record (screenshot attached). Is there a way to verify that this alert has not been sent to the student record? And is there a way to edit the footer for internal alert emails instead of the default wording and values for external emails ("This email has been sent to emailaddress@domain.edu. If you no longer wish to receive these emails you may unsubscribe at any time."Thanks!

All,Jo's next silly question.I have a form with a list box on it.  I want to make values in the list box dependent on another field, but not a field the users can see (i.e. a value already set against the lead), that in turn controls the values in a subsequent listbox.Any thoughts on how best to handle this?CheersJo

Hello, We have a series of category pages on our e-comm site. Each page can be sorted/filtered different ways. With each sort/filter the URL changes. How can I test the variations of this same URL to a single audience? I have tried setting up as A/B test, but the page delivery only allows for a single URL. I have tried using experience targeting, where I can add additional pages, but since the audience is the same, I can't add a second experience with the same audience but different URL. URL #1: https://shop.lww.com/medicine/c/1?sortBy=tenant~publicationdate%2bdesc&facetValueFilter=tenant~isprimary%3atrue& URL #2: https://shop.lww.com/medicine/c/1?facetValueFilter=tenant~isprimary:true&sortBy=tenant~purchasedtotal1+desc (default) Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks,Heather Walls

Dear Community, We are transitioning from a .NET driven CMS to AEM.Until now, we cannot find where to maintain lists of content in the AEM backend.Something that is a very basic feature of CMS'. For example, a list of press-releases, events, or manage a list of redirects. Is such a feature coming with AEM, or do you have to code your own? Kind regards, Sebastian

The requirement is basically, send an encrypted file to the external SFTP server, previously, that server gives me a Bearer Token, with that, I will be available to send a file.Is there any way to accomplish that? Any help is well received.

Hi I'm working on Mobile Push Notification in ACC SDK 5 (AEP) and using Launch to configure. I have a scenario where I have to store additional custom fields in the trackingLogAppSubRcp by extending it, upon a push notification open/click.The extension and field addition part is straightforward within Campaign, but I'm not able to figure out how to configure the tracking server to read these 2 fields and any configuration to be done in the Launch for the same. Is there a list of steps to configure this setup? Also what additional code should be added within the API call in the mobile app? I found the calls made normally are documented here: https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/using-mobile-extensions/adobe-campaignclassic/adobe-campaignclassic-api-reference#tracking-push-notifications. Any help/pointing in the right direction is appreciated!
