Hi there,I've been using the adobe api 1.4 to pull out data from analytics and every now and then, the error 'system_error' or error 7004 appears. Does anyone know why that happens and how can you prevent such an issue from reoccurring?Thanks!

All, Trying to confirm some logic I using in constructing a not so simple Customer Journey where: 1) An email is sent instructing a recipient to subscribe to a weekly program being offered through a landing page2) The client would like to use the Landing Page information (email) to trigger the email confirmation message based 1 of the 3 scenerios:     A) If the submission is a current profile that has and Opt-Out flag of NO they would get a confirmation of being added and begin the customer Journey..OR     B) If the submission is a current profile that has and Opt-Out flag of YES they would need to go through a Double Opt-in confirmation before they can begin the      customer Journey...OR     C) If the submission is a NEW profile they would need to go through a Double Opt-in confirmation before they can begin the customer journeyBased on what I'm reading regarding Landing Pages and Subscription services: I would need them to subscribe to the program via LP. Once subscribed, I just cre

Hi,Is there a way in AEM that you can cusomise the delete dialog for a component?What I'm am aiming to do is to detect if there is a content reference to the component that is about to be deleted.  And would like to display in the delete dialog itself a list of paths where it is being reference elsewhere on the site.  Thus the user can decide if the delete is a wise choice or not.I have managed to hook into the 'beforedelete' in the 'EditListenersConfig', but that will only trigger when the 'delete' button is pressed.  So not ideal.Thanks,David Miller

Folks, we've been using Omniture for years and we were receiving nice geolocation reports until we put our B2B sites behind a proxy.   So now all of our business customers access the site through the proxy, and since they all appear as coming from the same IP address, the geolocation reports have become rather boring.I've seen conflicting ideas as to how to resolve this, and I would be thrilled if someone could chime in and let me know what worked for them.Seems like we can enable the X-Forwarded-For header on the webseal proxy and then Omniture *should* pick it up automatically.However, https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2328123 suggests that it doesn't work,On the other hand, https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/analytics/audiences/audiences.pdf suggests that it does work.The second link says "Analytics will have already parsed the incoming X-Forwarded-For header and determined the correct IP address to use."Jeff

Hello,I work on a web application (JSSP) that is supposed to allows users to create their own recipient lists.Historically these lists were generated by a workflow and the activity update/create list, so i have already plenty of list (type list).But today i need to create, purge, fill these lists through js code.Unfortunally i didn't found how to do it. I am able to create group and add recipient in it but it's not the same story for list.Also i can create a group of list type but the table (ex grp100000) is not created in database like list activity does, so i cannot fill it with my recipients. Does anyone has an idea about how to proceed ? Thanks a lot.

Hi all,We recently had an upgrade from AEM 6.1 to AEM 6.3 SP3 and now we are evaluating the different custom components and see how they are in the touch UI.One thing that we noticed is that there is no refresh when switching between Edit and Preview mode in the touch UI, while the classic UI does.We used this refresh to switch styles because the classic Ui is sometimes very messy. Is there some way to fix the switch between the 2 wcmmodes (I already tried the solution in javascript described here: AEM6.3 - force page refresh when change mode to preview on touch ui  , but it doesn't work)?Thanks in advance!

All of our deploys have started failing with the following error. Even trying to deploy packages that have previously been installed results in the same error. Could anyone tell me how I can start investigating a problem like this? I don't see anything useful in the logs.This problem is happening on our stage publishers and all of our production instances but our stage author is working fine. I know that is a clue but I'm not sure where to look.[ERROR] Request failed: javax.jcr.AccessDeniedException: Access denied. (500)[INFO] Looks like the package was not installed, checking the list...[INFO] package not installed, re-uploading it...[ERROR] Request failed: javax.jcr.AccessDeniedException: Access denied. Our Standard users are getting an error message when they try to create an email (screenshot below).According to the documentation a Basic user (assuming that is the same as Standard user), should be able to create an email. Adobe Campaign Help | Types of users How can we adjust the configuration of roles and security groups to ensure Standard users can create and send an email.

Ugh. I know I've asked very similar things to this before, so I feel like I should know better....but I'm having trouble comparing a date to today's date. I've successfully done this in the past with two points in time, but not when one is today's date....and that's tripping me up. Here's what I have so far. $LTD.Expiry_Date__c is a date field that comes in from Salesforce like this: "2015-11-05".##set time zone and locale settings for date conversions#set( $TimeZone = $date.getTimeZone().getTimeZone('America/New York') )   #set( $locale = $date.getLocale() ) ##set a calendar object#set( $calNow = $date.getCalendar() )#set( $calConst = $field.in($calNow) )#set ($validCredits = [])#if( ! $LTD.Expiry_Date__c)#set ($discard = $validCredits.add($LTD.Compass_ID__c))#else##set travel credit expiry date and convert it to a date, then a calendar so we can compare later#set($TravelCreditExpiryDate = $LTD.Expiry_Date__c)#set($TravelCreditExpiryDate = $convert.parseDate($TravelCreditExpiryDate,'y

All, I'm trying to create a Landing Page where the Location>Country Code/Region  (@country) can be selected and captured during the process. I don't see 'List' being an option in the HTML Type of Field. I tried manipulating the Source Code - but when I selected the Country from code, the Profile did not save the Country Code. How can I create a Drop Down List on the Landing Page that will allow me to select the data from the Location>Country Code/Region schema and populate this data in the Profiles table?

I am working on AEM products. I have a multifield component in a dialog. After adding it then saving it resulted in unexpected structure of the nodes on sp2. But it is working fine on sp2. Below is the comparison of the node structure of sp2 and sp3 after performing the same steps(adding item 3).on SP2:<item2    jcr:lastModified="{Date}2019-08-22T17:17:02.548+05:30"    jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"    contentTitle="This is title"    enabled="Y"/><item3    jcr:lastModified="{Date}2019-08-22T17:17:02.547+05:30"    jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"    fieldsCheckOne="agree"    fieldCheckTwo="agree"    contentTitle="ThisIsLabel"/>on SP3:<item2    jcr:lastModified="{Date}2019-08-22T17:10:51.203+05:30"    jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured">    <contentList        jcr:lastModified="{Date}2019-08-22T17:10:51.204+05:30"        jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured">        <item3            jcr:lastModified="{Date}2019-08-22T17:10:51.206+05:30"            jcr:primaryTyp

Hi everyone! There is a feature "htmllibmanager.longcache.patterns" of com.adobe.granite.ui.clientlibs.impl.HtmlLibraryManagerImpl that allows to mark the clientlib call, but unfortunately it generates stamp only when the service restarts. E.g., with service configuration, I see at the output markup /etc.clientlibs/foo/bar.123.js where 123 is unique value, that generates on service restart. Basically, clientlib is included through sightly template "/libs/granite/sightly/templates/clientlib.html". Finally, I want to have new stamp on every UI-related code deploy, to prevent using of alredy cached by browser js or css. Currently, I have a solution: "${maven.build.timestamp}" but it requires direct path include of the clientlib, that doesn't suit to us, because we are migrating to AEM 6.5 and all clientlibs were moved to /apps structure.I would be grateful, if you share your own experience, how this objective can be reached. Thanks

for AEM 6.5 what is the best supported JDK 8 or 11?

Hi All,Is there a way to get the /content/my-project/mypage.model.json directly from content path within AEM OSGI service, instead of hitting absolute url http://localhost:4502/content/my-project/mypage.model.json We do get html of a page with below code snippetHttpServletRequest httpRequest = requestResponseFactory.createRequest("GET", location);HttpServletResponse httpResponse = requestResponseFactory.createResponse(out);requestProcessor.processRequest(httpRequest, httpResponse, resourceResolver);Is there a way to get the model.json as well similar to above logic?

Hello,We're currently using Marketo with Unbounce landing pages. We need to combine last name, last 4 of the phone number, and the word 'Household' to populate the company field in Marketo, if possible.Example Company field format in Marketo: Smith7890 HouseholdIs it possible to concatenate a full field (last name), capitalize the first letter and lowercase the rest, if needed, add the last 4 numbers of the phone, add a space, then add the word 'Household', all inside Marketo? Or is this something that needs to be done/can be done on the page via JS before sending the data to Marketo?Sanford Whiteman, is this something you're familiar with?

Hi,We are mapping segments to cookie destination (AAM - GA Segment Export), from where we picking values for GA reporting. Since we found some issue on load we planned to remove all the segments that mapped to cookie destination. But still, the cookie populates segments information after it is removed. We tested by deleting the cookie from the browser but no luck. It generates the cookie every time.Can anyone help me how and why it is generated again, and how we can stop populating the cookie in the browser. We don't want to delete the destination.ThanksKeerthivasan

Hi Team,I am new and a very beginner to adobe launch and i am confused in implementing event analytics in adobe launch. I have digitalData object with events like shown below.. How i need to capture all these events and push to adobe launch? Kindly share me the documentation reference URL to implement from scratch. That should be very helpful.digitalData.event = [  {    "eventInfo": {      "eventName": "From Component",      "eventAction": "Content Click",      "eventLabel": "label name",      "type": "click",      "timestamp": 1566513244361    },    "attributes": {      "target": {        "class": "link",        "text": "submit",        "action": "click"      }    }  },{    "eventInfo": {      "eventName": "From Component2",      "eventAction": "Content Click",      "eventLabel": "new label name",      "type": "click",      "timestamp": 1566513244361    },    "attributes": {      "target": {        "class": "link",        "text": "lorem",        "action": "click"      }    }  }]

I am doing some search-engines related research on Adobe Experience Manager's reference site - We Retail.I've realised that page properties on some pages (ex. http://server:port/sites.html/content/we-retail/us/en/products) are disabled like it is shown in this picture. Tried on another clean instance, it is the same.What could be a reason for this and where it can be enabled for editing again?The interesting fact is that I can edit the same page properties in page -> page information -> edit template -> page information -> initial page properties This tells me that there might be some restriction in product-page template, but it has the same properties as content-page template.I am logged in as administrator, so there should be no permission problems.AEM 6.4.2v

In my SPA I impleted Target only with triggerView (in the Target V2 extension of Launch).In the VEC I can see all viewnames and navigate through. But when I make some changes and go check it out in QA link I cannot see my changes on the page, it only works if it's a page with page load.Soo my acitivitys need adobe.target.getOffers and adobe.target.applyOffers to work? I'm missing something?

We have a requirement where we are supposed to show the 2nd question from the dropdown based on the answer of the 1st question.Currently on aem 6.2 component.Any code help is appreciated.
