so I have the following code snippetimport com.day.cq.wcm.api.Page;import com.day.cq.wcm.api.PageManager;......//more unrelated code here......Page currentPage = pageManager.getPage("/content/data/fishes/greatwhite");log.error(currentPage.getTitle());from what I understand (PageManager ("The Adobe AEM Quickstart and Web Application.") ), getPath requires a String input. And from the code snippet I have provided above, the path I provided is valid. I checked this via CRX/DE.I've looked at various examples around the net and I cannot find examples where the string supplied to getPath is a string literal. It's always a variable.I'm just wondering what sort of path is required. When I debugged my code using Eclipse, currentPage is neither empty or null. like it's undefined. so perhaps I'm using it wrong. Thanks

Hi guys,Have anybody tried something like this before? I have custom external datasource that i was able to connect to adobe and it works fine if i just pull some data and immediately change the dimension to use Adobe internal database. However i have use cases where i cannot do it in the beginning and any activity in Adobe that uses internal templates to create the query will fail as the syntax is slightly different.First time i got this error "Unable to load document of identifier 'xtk:crdb_<mydb>.xsl' and type 'xtk:xslt'." So what i did is that i created following .xsl files for this case- crdb_<mydb>.xsl- updb_<mydb>.xsl- tools_<mydb>.xslThe crdb.xsl is a reference to load and call tools_.xsl which has some template for creating and inserting to table. My problem is that no matter what i change in these .xsl files, the query submitted by Adobe doesn't change. Is there some other layer of how these templates are stored? What does updb do since it is not called

Hi all,I have a question related to an issue i'm having when creating a schema in ACC and I'm wondering if you have any clues.Basically when i'm saving the schema, i 'm having and error message saying "Cannot preview and keep receiving the error message An error occurred during the SOAP call. You don't have the required rights to view the detail. ". But when i  check in my schemas list, the schema appeared but i can not see it when i try to update the database structure. I am also getting the following error while trying to view the structure of Schema: The graphical component 'schemaview5' has generated an error. Here are the steps I followed which gives me this error.1. Selecting Administration-->Configuration-->Data schemas2. Click the NEW icon3. Leave default selection of Create a new table in the data template and click next4. For namespace, type rt (the namespace of the line of business - but the default namespace cus also gives the same error)5. For name, type TEST6. F

I created a mirror page URL content block and wanted all of the text, including the link, to be gray. The text is gray in every email client that I tested except for Outlook when I view on my desktop (here it's blue). This is the HTML used:<% if ( document.mode != 'mirror' && document.mode != 'forward' ) { %><p align=center>  <font style="font-family: Arial, Arial; font-size: 12px;">  To view this email as a web page, go   <span style="color: #58595b;"><a style="color: #58595b;" <a href="<%@ include fragment='MirrorPageUrl' %>" _label="Mirror page" _type="mirrorPage">here.</span></a>  </font></p><% } %>Any ideas on why the link is blue in Outlook?

When we upload a new custom clientlib - to etc/designs - and then do a tree activation, the next time we request a webpage that includes those font files, then the font files are created in the dispatcher with file size 0.  The resulting impact is that when requesting a web page in the browser, font files are not properly downloaded (browser reports "Failed to decode downloaded font:")We can work around this issue by connecting to the dispatcher and manually removing the font files before re-requesting them (when they are subsequently cached and served correctly).  In front of our Apache dispatchers we use Cloudflare as a CDN.Is this a known problem with the dispatcher or likely to be a combination of the above (we also have CORS configurations in place to specifically allow cross origin use of the font files)?

Hello everyone,we are trying to create blocks (header block, primary block,) in delivery templates so that the content creator can utilize delivery templates flexibly. How can I create a delivery template with blocks like the above image?Kind regards,Imran

I have a data element that is using JavaScript variable name to get a value. The values are boolean. Is it the case that this field can only return string values? It seems that anytime i try to capture a boolean, the data doesn't appear in the analyics debugger. Thanks!

We have an app where a user can select documents via checkboxes and then press a btn to email a list of links. I'm basically faking an array in Launch and storing the titles and then writing them out in custom code when the user presses the button. But now there's a requirement to capture department, so that they can do analytics on what documents each department is sending. If I also pass department (which I'm already capturing in a data element) in the same loop as I go through the array of documents will that department value then be associated with that specific document on the reporting side? They want to drag the document title dimension and they drop department underneath to see which departments used that document. Any thoughts? I feel like I'm missing some basic way in which Launch/DTM and Analytics works...

Hi all,few day ago I read the feature releases for Firefox. In the near future they will block the web tracking. Here ist the release note:https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2018/08/30/changing-our-approach-to-anti-tracking/ How will this concern Adobe Analytics and DTM?Does anyone have further information about this topic? Thanks and best regards,Christian

I was contacted by the IT Team at my office and they said Firefox is implementing a feature to set DNT as a default which will prevent DTM/Launch from firing. We have all our vendor tags and analytics tags in Launch. Does this mean we will not be able to track our customers anymore if they use Firefox? Can anyone help us with this? Thanks

I have a site with a master language (en).I have a page (es) already translated by a translation project. Then I update that page from my master language (en). The launcher generated is full in English. The translator provider should translate full content again if they do not have a memory translation. Is there a way somehow I can send only the content modified in my page, I should not pay for the translated content again?

Sometimes, infrequently, my test and control do not add up correctly.  For example, let's say my test group is 10K unique visitors and my control is also 10K.  I would expect my activity total unique visitors to be 20K, but sometimes I see something lower than expected (i.e. 19,998).  Can you explain why this occurs? Thanks!

Hi everyone,i want to limit the amount of items an author can set in a component with multifield values to a specific number specified by the template editor in design_dialog. I did not find a AEM native solution for this, so I tried with jQuery. But I don't know how I can access the number specified in design_dialog in jQuery. So is there a clean solution for this, or how can I access the data?

Hi,Is there a way to get exactly-once delivery while using the transactional APIs for sending emails (Within some short window)? The status codes do not provide the sufficient information - Adobe Campaign Standard API . The issue is specially in case of any gateway issues like 502, 503, 504 there is no way for the client's to know that a retry wouldn't cause a duplicate email to be sent out. Looking for some guidance here.

Hi,We are trying to integrate Adobe Analytics and Adobe Audience Manager using Server side forwarding (Configuration on Launch and analytics). We have followed the steps mentioned in https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/analytics/audiences/audiences.pdf . As per section "How to Verify Your Server-Side Forwarding Implementation" in document, we are able to see implementation is correct and server side forwarding is working. We could see custom props in Analytics interface. But, when we check in AAM Signal Search (after laps of 1 day), we are not able to find any signals or custom properties. Can you please help if there is any issues or any additional steps to be followed?

Any idea why I am not seeing anything under administration within AAM interface although I am product admin? Where can I get & set option around limits of traits, segments, destinations. Is this now available at experience cloud level ? I can't access https://admin.demdex.com/ How can I ensure that certain audience created in AAM don't show up in Adobe analytics?

Hi,Can someone please explain to me what if an MID value is fired on a site level, do we need the DPID as well or MID is a replacement for that? Thanks

I am setting up a simple AAM Segment, basically when a user visits a page. The trait rule is defined as c_pageURL = "[webpage url]"I've tried multiple event types, but it still wont work. It wont even work when i try the Test Event URL. The website has been configured correctly and has worked for other segments, I am taking over the ownership and trying to apply some new segmentsWhat am i missing thats causing this to work? Thanks

I configured AEM SAML integration on author instance and it just works fine. Now this was time to put the config in code repository. So:1. I put that config in the code repository (at /apps/<project-folder>/config.author.dev/com.adobe.granite.auth.saml.SamlAuthenticationHandler-myproject.xml2. Deleted the manually created SAML configuration in Felix Console.2. Performed a build3. I see the SAML config added by code4. I hit Author URL and it doesn't take me to IDP login page.5. I go to felix, open SAML config, click Save (without touching anything else)6. I hit Author URL again and now it takes me to IDP login page.Any reason? Thanks in advance!!

We are currently in the midst of simplifying our Adobe Analytics implementation and access for end-users in our company. One goal is to get rid of the old "Reports" section as there are still several people in the organization that are using outdated & old reports – no matter how many times we tell them to use "Workspace" instead. One issue we are now facing: We still would want to keep up the access to the Real-Time Reports (which are to our knowledge only accessible from within the old "Reports" section). We have tried several possibilities within the Admin console of limiting Analytics and Report Suite tools, but could not find a way to strip the users of all other reports than just the Real-Time. As soon as we give access to the old Reports section, all old reports are available to the user.Is there any way to keep alive the Real-Time report but get rid of all other (standard) reports in the "Reports" section?

Hello and TIA,I have 12 emails in an engagement program, do I have to add a smart campaign for each one?The flow show be they recieve an email and get added to an individual campaign in SFDC.

I'm following the tutorial  Adobe Experience Manager Help | Getting Started with Angular and AEM SPA Editor After Chapter three, I'm not able to see any components on the home.html page. When I looked to edit the template it is not redirecting correctly. (http://localhost:4502/editor.html/conf/wknd-events/settings/wcm/templates/wknd-events-app-template/structure.html ) angular routing seems to redirect it to http://localhost:4502/editor.html. Console log errorError: Uncaught (in promise): Error: Cannot match any routes. URL Segment: 'conf/wknd-events/settings/wcm/templates/wknd-events-page-template/structure.html' Error: Cannot match any routes. URL Segment: 'conf/wknd-events/settings/wcm/templates/wknd-events-page-template/structure.html'So that may be the reason why I'm getting blank page for home.html since there is no components available in the template. Could anyone please help to resolve this issue.
