Hi,I am new to AEM. I am working on AEM 6.2 in premise instance. I have to create a news listing page, with common functionality like sorting, paging, filtering based on tags. Can anyone suggest if there is default component already available using which this functionality is achievable.Thanks.Mukesh

Hello,I am wondering if Adobe publishes a list of jcr paths that correspond to features of AEM itself as a product.I am looking for this to better enable me to create a fresh set of role based user groups in AEM with differing access to AEM features. For example:When creating a new group for a basic AEM user until I granted access to /libs AEM itself did not function properly as a user of only that group. This makes perfect sense but at a high level since Adobe provides no admin screen to admin AEM product features only the JCR tree and ACL screen within useradmin it makes sense that additional guidelines or a list of paths corresponding to OOTB AEM product features be published.Anyone have any information as to if such as list exists? Thanks,Tim

Hello folks,I'm working on the migration from ES2 to AEM and it seems that there are some problems mainly with the "Preview HTML5" TAB in AEM.In designer AEM, when I tried to add a new instance of a repeatable subform (using addInstance function in a click event of a button), the new instance shows in preview PDF, it doesn't  in "Preview HTML5" .It seems that is related to a refresh page problem. Is there any idea that solve this issue? Below my code:form1.#subform[0].AddInstance.add::click - (JavaScript, both)app.alert("count:"+_content.count);_content.addInstance(true);app.alert("count :"+_content.count);(content is the name of the repeatable subform, containing a simple textField)Thanks to everybody.

Hello,I am having difficulties using the date comparison function in workspace. In other words, when I go to right click on my freeform table and try to compare to a previous date it does not pull up the data for the previous date nor the % Change. It used to do this in the past but now this functionality no longer works for me. Is this a know issue?Andy

Hello Marketo community, I'm trying to modify the input type for several hidden fields on the following page when the page loads by using the following jquery to modify the input type from hidden to text. There are other fields with an input type that needs to be updated to select too. Landing page: www3.sungevity.com/Modernize.html?FirstName=Test <script> jQuery(document).ready(function(){      jQuery('input[name="FirstName"]').prop('type', 'text'); }) </script>I've tested this with FirstName, one of the currently hidden fields, but no updates are taking effect. Any ideas?

I am trying to validate the radio buttons in a survey I am creating on my HTML5 form. The survey has a question and 5 different radio buttons to choose from (Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neither Agree nor Disagree, etc.) If the user does not select an answer within the radio button group, I want it to be highlighted and a message displayed on each group that was not answered.I followed the directions from this link shown below:The messages displayed on a text field, however the message will not display on the radio button group. In the Object palette, Value tab I have set the Type: User Entered - Required and in the Empty Message box I wrote the message I want displayed. The radio buttons only have a gray box around them when they are not answered, no display message. Is there any reason why this isn't working or any other way I can validate radio buttons with a display message?Thank you.

Hi everyone,As a part of the sing off process all our users create their Marketing programs in Sandbox and once is validated they can proceed to Import into Production. The problems now lies when every time someone import their programs to production a new template is created and now we've dozens of LP and Email templates versions. We've been explaining to them to use the default conflict rules to use the destination template. However we still need to sort this mess out. Any suggestion how can I fix this? Is there a way I can merge all those templates ?

Regarding the email sent today and the post by @Kenny Elkington on March 1st: http://developers.marketo.com/blog/important-change-activity-records-marketo-apis/ When exactly is this happening? The post says beginning May 2017 and the Spring 2017 release is currently planned for May 17th 2017. Is May 17th 2017 the first day we should expect to see this on any instances? The email says “This will be supplanted by the "marketoGUID" string field in the next release.”Is the “next release” that same Spring 2017 release or will the API be updated before that? Will there be any time before the switch-over that the API returns both the new “marketoGUID” string field and the existing ActivityId? Is there a way to switch an instance over to this prior to the Spring 2017 release? This would help in the case of having a sandbox instance to program against prior to the Spring 2017 release to make sure this is in and tested ahead of time. If the MarketoGUID is not available when the current ActivityID b

Hi all,I'm building a lookup javascript object whose values I want to use in an enrichment activity as a calculated field. Here's an example of what i want to happenVariable:instance.vars.variableA={key:'value'};---Expression$(instance/vars/@variableA[@columnFromTargetingDimension])Hope I'm making sense. I need to read the associated value from the javascript object based on a field from the targeting dimension but i'm having problems with the syntax or if this is possible in the first place. I'm also open to other approaches as well except for enumerations for reasons I won't get into.Thanks,--Erik

To Roman's point, I'm getting multiple(2) calls to Analytics servers if I add the _satellite.pageBottom() just before the closing body tag.

I'm curious if anyone has, or has seen, a list of common Salesforce sync errors/Notifications? Product documentation only lists 1 ( Not Allowed: Salesforce campaign contains incompatible statuses.) and I'm aware of permission errors, but are there any others that are common? Thanks in advance!

Hi,Can anyone suggest on the below issue.I'm using ?wcmmode=design with my content URL and i can see a component group "Project ABC" in my sidekick. But i didn't select the component group(Project ABC) in the "Allowed components" of Design section. I didn't set the read permission for the component(Project ABC) in /apps and /etc/designs. Is there are any special permission for wcmmode-design? How could i find the permission for that? Thanks,Sankar.

I am working on setting up AEM YouTube integration so we can publish videos from AEM to YouTube.  I followed the documentation found here: Video - docs.adobe.com .  I was able to create a google account, a new YouTube channel, and setup the configuration.  However, when I try to add a tag, I am receiving a "Unspecified Error" in AEM.  Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the error or how I can get more information?  This is on our Stage environment which is on Adobe servers so I don't have access to a lot of files.

Hi Folks,I recently ran into a strange situation. We are leveraging AEM for use as a DAM. One use-case is where we upload images to AEM.As an admin, I can upload an image. I can then double-click the JPG, edit all the fields, and save. But I've received a complaint from authors - they too can upload JPG images, but when they open/double-click the image, they don't see the same thing that I do. Instead of a full window to edit properties, they see an "Asset Properties" window where they can at most edit the Title and description. But here's whats most strange - when I impersonate an author, I am still able to edit all the fields associated with the asset, as I had been able to as an admin. What could be happening here? I think its a privileges issue, but then shouldn't I see the same issue that authors see when I impersonate them?Thank you.
