Hi,By default we can create duplicate assets collections. Internally dam resource collection servlet appends the collection node name with 0,1,2 etc but will keep the same jcr:title. I wanted to know how we can restrict creating duplicate collections. I could not find any OSGI configuration for the servlet to avoid duplicates. Any thoughts? RegardsGuru

What options are available for migrating content when moving from 5.6.1 to 6.x?

We want to setup a new AEM 6.1 system and transfer the content from the AEM 5.6.1 instance via content package to the new system. Is there also a way to migrate the version history to the new system? In older versions of AEM/CQ there was an Importing Tool (http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/crx/2-3/deploying/upgrading.html#Migrating%20the%20Version%20History), does something like that exist for AEM 6.1?I think it is not possible/is not enough to make a content package of /jcr:system/jcr:versionStorage and just install it on the new AEM 6.1 system, right? Thanks!Anne

I have two users who have over 200 SiteCatalyst reports published as excel files on their Sharepoint site. Now they want to use Publishing Widgets in stead, and ask for Admin access. Apparently there is no alternative other than to give these users full Admin access. I regards this as a weak point.

I'm trying to support a CQ5 (5.5) installation developed by an outside firm for my company. It appears that my company wanted a pretty 404 page that looked like the rest of the site, and using the custom Sling 404.jsp error handler to redirect to a regular page that merely says "Page Not Found" was the easiest way to do it. The problem is that the "Page Not Found" page they are using actually returns a 200 status code since it really is just a regular content page that bears a "Not Found" message on it.This is causing us problems with Google and the GoogleBot, since Google believes all the old search links to now non-existent pages are still valid (200 status code). Is there any way to configure CQ to return the appropriate 404 status code for our regular "not found" HTML page that we display? When I am in the CQ Author mode editing the page, I find nothing in page properties or in components that could be added to the page.Any help would be appreciated, as CQ is not exactly my area of e

HI,I am looking for some help to use Target to fire 3rd party tags (few js files) so that I can control on percentage of users the tag fires. SO basically gonna be a A/B test where few users tags fire and few it doesn't. We want to do this to validate if this vendor is contributing in increasing our conversions. Currently we are firing those tags as a page load rule through DTM.

Hi Guys,When I'm working on customizing AEM, I've got some question. 1. As I know, If we want to change item assignee we have to use delegate. But sometime it doesn't show up or not work well. So Is there any other way to chaneg assignee?2. When I create Project  and try to insert workflow on it, I only can see few workflow. I made some customize workflows though. Only I can see ((project approval, request Launch, Request Landing page, Request Email). How can we see and use other workflow?3. And In the project there is Team menu. On here I only can assign user as Editor, Owner, Observer. But What I want is assign user with customized role. Is that possible to make customized role? If so how?Lastly, I have difficulty on developing customizing AEM with java. Cuz I wasn't able to debug line by line. Can you suggest any good way to debug?

Hi all - is it possible to require people to register in a DPS 2015 app, i.e. giving over their name, e-mail, etc. info in order to receive an all-access subscription? If so, how do I gain access to this information?

Hi,We would like to run a clustered AEM 6.1 environment, which is backed by a clustered Mongo DB.  We are able to do so, but only with both AEM 6.1 sharing the same Data Store.  Is it possible to have each instance of AEM 6.1 use it's own data store?  Our repository.home value for org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.FileDataStore.cfg is crx-quickstart/repository/repository/datastoreFor instance1, the above works. For instance2, if we point to the same datastore folder as instance1, instance2 can start upHowever, if we make a duplicate of instance1's crx-quickstart/repository/repository/datastore folder and put it into instance2's crx-qcuikstart/repository/repository folder and update instance2's repository.home value for org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.FileDataStore.cfg to instance2's crx-quickstart/repository/repository/datastore folder, then instance2 will fail to start. We looked at https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/upgrade/data-store-config.h

I am not sure if someone else has come across a similar situation, but once we have migrated all our code , we notice that the "send email" step from "Collaboration Workflow" section in 5.6.1 which is an OOTB( [com.adobe.cq.social.commons.SendEmailProcess]) and not a process step, just does not appear in the workflow and in the sidekick.1. Does this mean that  [com.adobe.cq.social.commons.SendEmailProcess] is deprecated OR are we missing any collaboration package? How do we overcome this?2. I also see no value prefilled for the "Process" field in the process tab out here.. http://localhost:4502/etc/workflow/models/geometrixx/signup.htmlKindly assistRegards,NZ

I've been going through the DPS 2015 information, but I can't seem to find any definitive info if DPS 2015 can publish a stand-alone app, similar to the older DPS folios? Is it still possible for users to download the app, but not have to go through the App Store/Google Play Store/Windows Store with DPS 2015? Or would we have to continue to use the original DPS to build and publish folios?
