Solved

Hi all, I'm using the official user guide to access the prep portal and can't get pass this screen:I had no issue accessing the platform about a month ago using the same steps, account, device. Any suggestions? Many thanks,Ana

We have a package that contains AEM pages and DAM files, around 800MB in size. In AEM prem, as a best practice, we usually log in separately to both author and publish instances to deploy the AEM packages. This approach allows us to uninstall the package from either instance in case of any issues. However, in AEM Cloud, this doesn't seem feasible because we can't directly log into the publish instance due to the auto-scaling nature of the cloud pods. The only available option appears to be installing the package on the author instance and then replicating it to the publish instance. However this approach doesn't allow us to uninstall content from the publish instance if there's a need to revert changes. Is there any alternative option available to handle this scenario effectively?

Looking for any suggestions/recommendations on how we can load and penetration test before our go-live date through Adobe? Appreciate any documentation or other references. Thanks!

Hi,  I have created a new events type schema as an addition to already created and working/enabled XDM data model (B2B model).. I used custom field groups for the new schema and to add the new schema to existing system, I used a common identifier and Identity namespace.. After enabling the schema and dataset and having 3 sucessful ingestions(post enabling schema and dataset), when I am building an audience (the fields from new schema are also available in the segment builder, with option set to "show only fields with data").. I am not getting any counts.. I have even verfied using Query service if my Ids are present in dataset and Took an Id field and searched for a profle.. A profile popped up and In it's Events tab, I see last 3 successful ingestions... Its has been close to 40 hrs and also the segment Job has run.. I dont understand why I wont get counts and why profiles wont get qualified.. Help please

Hello, if I'm adding a group email in "Email Address" filter in the smart list the affected leads are not getting updated. Is it even possible to use a group email address instead of a single recipient address?

There was an issue with short url mapping in Production Publish 2 instance for one of our site where we had the mapping under /etc/map/https/www.xyz.com. The short URL was resolving in Prod publish 1 instance whereas it was not resolving in Publish 2. Due to this, when the pages are accessed pages from the site, 404 page not found was coming up occasionally (whenever the request hits dispatcher 2 which points to publish 2). We tried the following steps to resolve the issue. Package /etc/map/https/www.xyz.com and /etc/map/http/www.xyz.com from Publish 1 and installed it in Publish 2 – Issue was not resolved. We restarted the following 2 bundles – The issue was resolved. Apache Sling JCR Resource Resolver org.apache.sling.jcr.resource Apache Sling Resource Resolver org.apache.sling.resourceresolver The issue was resolved but we are unable to determine the root cause of this issue. So that we could prevent this kind of issue from occurring again in production environment.Any idea what cou

I've set Max. number of retries to 0. May someone tell me why the delivery is still showing "Retry pending"? Maybe changing "Period of retries" to 0h.

I'm currently using the sandbox environment credentials provided by Adobe for learning Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). While trying to explore and set up API connections with these sandbox credentials, I encountered an issue where the APIs seem to be disabled for my account. Is there any way to connect to AEP APIs using the sandbox credentials, or is there another method I can follow to explore and learn the APIs? Any guidance or solutions to help me set up the API connection would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Customer would like to implement CDP with Target using WEB SDK. However its www has lots of page views. Then he would like to not turn on Target on every page but only on some (to not generate Target network calls -> cut costs). I come up with the solution that on some pages we can use Datastream Overrides. It would be two datastream:1. First - Target turn on2. Second - Target - turned off The other solution is to implement Target using at.js and then turning it on only on particular urls. But then are we able to share audiences between Target and CDP?

I have implemented an activity with at.js version 2.11.6. And I noticed that, in addition to the at_check and mbox cookies, the at_geo cookie is also generated and stores information about the user's location, including longitude, latitude, country, region, and city. I could not find any mention of this cookie in the official documentation. Therefore, I would like to inquire about the reason for its generation and whether there is a specific setting that allows for its activation.

I am working on a workflow to send an email to an email distro pulling project brief fields when there are new briefs. I am looking for a way to be able to pull in the project owner's email address into the blind copy recipient field. Is this possible to pull in as mapped object? I am not sure where/how I would approach this. Thanks!

Hi Experts,   We have implemented Adobe Target through Web SDK (async) and added pre-hiding snippet. The order is : Pre hiding snippet  (in the head section)                      Launch Web SDK (in the head section)                      data layer ( in body section )   Observation : There is a flicker in the first visit but post page refresh the flicker is not at all present.   Flicker code :<script>!function(e,a,n,t){var i=e.head;if(i){if (a) return;var o=e.createElement("style");o.id="alloy-prehiding",o.innerText=n,i.appendChild(o),setTimeout(function(){o.parentNode&&o.parentNode.removeChild(o)},t)}}(document, document.location.href.indexOf("adobe_authoring_enabled") !== -1, "body { opacity: 0 !important }", 3000);</script>   Can someone suggest if we are missing some configuration here ?

Hi Community, I've searched for this answer on documentation and community but couldn't manage to find any. We've created an A/B test activity and set the goal to "Viewed an mbox", with the following (fictional) values:  We're triggering an:adobe.target.trackEvent({ "mbox": "ABCD" //or "WXYZ" });when the user clicks the desired element. We're correctly tracking the total amount of conversions, but we are unable to breakdown by ABCD/WXYZ mbox both on Target reporting and Analytics Workspace (we're using A4T as the reporting source), since there is no option or Workspace dimension to use for breaking down/segmenting the traffic. Is there really no way to get to know this detail for the conversions, or are we missing some steps?  Kind regards,Daniele

Hello team, Query is related to: CIF graphql configurationIn my application, we have introduced region, language based (Multi region) product display. For this, I have created separate CIF configurations under these folders./conf/abc/FR/en/conf/abc/FR/fr/conf/abc/GB/gb/conf/abc/GB/enAlso, enabled custom http headers using: com.adobe.cq.cif.http.internal.HttpHeadersConfigProviderImplNow, in above 4 CIF configurations, I have eneabled custom httpHeaders : region, language: example: /conf/abc/FR/enregion: fr, language: en/conf/abc/FR/fr  Here region: fr, language: frNow, in my content pages, I will mentione these in the page properties -> Advanced -> Cloud configurationexample: /content/abc/fr/en : mentioning: /conf/abc/FR/en/content/abc/fr/fr : mentioning: /conf/abc/FR/frNow, I need to get the headers details: /conf/abc/FR/en/settings/cloudconfigs/commerce/jcr:content/httpHeadersTreein my sling model. will get "cq:conf" path. Then, go to the httpHeaders

My sandbox is enabled with the Universal Editor, and I attempted to apply ACLs for certain users. When I set deny for rep write, it worked as expected—the user was unable to make content updates. Next, I tried allowing rep write but denying crx replicate. This blocked the publish action for AEM Sites, but not for the Universal Editor. The user could still see the publish button in the Universal Editor and was able to publish pages.I referred to this Adobe Document : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developing/universal-editor/customizing which mentions using <meta name="urn adobe aue config disable" content="publish"/> to disable the publish button. However, the document doesn't specify where to add this meta tag.I created the project using GitHub's Xwalk project template, which doesn’t include an index.js or index.html. Instead, it has a head.html file. I tried adding the meta tag to head.html, but the pub

I've been working in a template. So far, it only has containers and a title in the structure:Root containerMain containerTitleContainerI want to leave the possibility to the editor to add components in "Main container", in the same level as "Title" or "Container".But in Edit mode, the sidebar looks like this: There is no possibility to add to "Main container" (or "Root container").My template structure looks like this:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <jcr:root xmlns:jcr="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/1.0" xmlns:nt="http://www.jcp.org/jcr/nt/1.0" xmlns:cq="http://www.day.com/jcr/cq/1.0" xmlns:sling="http://sling.apache.org/jcr/sling/1.0" jcr:primaryType="cq:Page"> <jcr:content cq:deviceGroups="[mobile/groups/responsive]" cq:lastModified="{Date}2024-07-17T10:51:42.552+02:00" cq:lastModifiedBy="admin" cq:template="/conf/mysite/settings/wcm/templates/page-content" jcr:primaryType="cq:PageContent" sling:resource

I am trying to add custom metadata using json in with a dropdown field in AEM Metadata Schema Form Editor with a dropdown field in AEM Metadata Schema Form Editor, I cannot see how this works. can someone provide a sample Json file and an explanation

I tried to import a JDBC config from another AEM instance into /apps/system/config/ via Package Manager, but it seems it is not recognized even afer server restart. I can see it in the configuration page, but not directly under the Day Commons JDBC Connection Pool, like other JDBC configurations that were created manually. Can anyone give me a hint, what is needed? When I open the jcr_content file, the attributes look the same as in the valid configurations already present.
