If a lead who is unsubscribed is deleted from Marketo, does the email address remain in the master unsubscribed list? Does durable unsubscribe play a role here? Or is there a risk that if you delete an unsubscribed lead you could unwittingly import the same lead (from a list purchase, e.g.) without realizing she or he had unsubscribed?

My web app is creating Leads in Salesforce using their SOAP API. Those leads are then synced to Marketo through the integration. I would like to associate the anonymous history of the customers. Is there some way to include the marketo cookie in the Salesforce lead so it's used by Marketo to automatically do the association?

Hello,we have created some programs in Prod that we need to amend. Before making changes we would like to test them in dev. When I open my Sandbox instance I don't see those programs. I'm assuming that synchronization between Prod and Sandbox has been done prior to the creation of those programs. Is it possible to easily copy somd selected programs from Prod to Sandbox?Cécile @ Talend

Hi everyone! I created a Nurturing program with a single stream that sends emails twice a week; it contains a triggered smart campaign that adds leads to the stream. By the time of the 1st cast, it added 400+ leads, and today there are more than 700 leads. However, I see that the 1st email of the stream had been sent to only 4 leads, and the 2nd one to 2 leads (while the number of members was more like several hundreds by those dates). Why are the emails not being sent to all program members? I'm just learning to use Engagement programs, so I think I could have missed something important. Thanks in advance for any clue!

Hi.  Just created new email in Design Studio and published to Marketo Sales Insight.  I am certain of this because I can see them in Sales Insight for Outlook.  However, I can't see them in Salesforce under Leads/Send an Email/Select Template.  No templates there.Trying to present this to Sales in the am.  Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

We have a SFDC sync and I'm noticing when someone submits information (like a title) via a form where we previously had a "null" value in SFDC, the value is replaced with "null" with our next sync so when I pull that lead I no longer have that information (unless I look back through their history). Is there a way to keep the updated information (without creating duplicate fields in Marketo)?Or is there a way to get a report of what information was actually entered into the form so that we can update the information in SFDC manually?Or has anyone else discovered a work-around for this situation?

Hello,I'm writing because our lead generation team is in charge of reassigning leads to the sales team. Since we have a rather complex automatic reassignment process with criteria based upon company headquarters, company size, market segment and named accounts, we chose to build this within Marketo (i.e., Traffic Cop) via a series of smart campaigns and requested campaign calls instead of leveraging SFDC's lead assignment rules. For the most part, we believe it is extremely accurate. At the same time, we would like to be able to point to a lead reassignment accuracy metric, which would validate our efforts. For example, 90% of leads reassigned from Traffic Cop are assigned to the correct rep. Eventually, we would also like to use this lead reassignment accuracy metric for other lead generation sources that don't use Traffic Cop too. For example, our client services team handles inbound calls. They create leads from these calls and reassign them. We would like to be able to use this sam

I am trying to create a hidden form field to track where webinar registrations and content downloads come from. I have a hidden field on my form, but my URL builder is saying I don't. Is there a global setting? Thanks for the help!

I created a campaign, and added a fill out form trigger in Smart List, add a Send Email in Flow. When I submitted the form(the lead doesn't exist in marketo),the campaign worked. When I submitted the form(the lead already exist in different partition), the campaign didn't work and not sent email.I have set the email schedule "every time".Anybody know that how to work?

Hello Adobe Forum,I'm an SAP user and am creating an Adobe form (my first). I posted this in an SAP forum, but have yet to receive any feedback whatsoever so I thought it may be better to go to the Adobe experts themselves. I've run into an Adobe issue and am just spinning and spinning trying different techniques to make it work. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. In my content area I have three subforms. The first subform is positioned, the fields have to be placed correctly. The second subform is fundamentally a table header for the third subform, which is the rows of the data. All three subforms are wrapped in another subform that is flowed. Why would I do it like this? Well, the table in the third subform has control levels so it merges like rows nicely in this way when the first column rows are the same...Source image file 4466 not availableSo the first page of my document would look like this...which is what I want. We ran a campaign that updated some leads that weren't intended to be updated.  How can I revert the program status of those leads to a previous state?  Right now they show as success and I want to pull them out of that status.

What does it mean by Pending Approval in GoToWebinar?

I'm wondering how you some of you deal with this sort of situation:We want people to fill out a form at our booth at a tradeshow. I want to set this up as a campaign so that if you fill out a booth, your SFDC status changes to visited booth. I want this information right away so it can be sent over to our sales team. When we get the list from the show later and tradeshow attendees are uploaded, I don't want those who visited my booth's SFDC campaign member status to change.Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.I've set up a form which has the 'standard' form fields (like name, email, address etc).  However at the bottom of this form I have a further 2 check boxes which are 'Contact me now' and 'I have a project'.  Now depending on what they tick I want an auto responder to send - one per check box.  This is the easy bit!The problem is, if the lead ticks both boxes they'll get 2 emails - how do I stop this happening?  If they tick both boxes I want them to ONLY recieve the 'i have a project' follow up email.  Can anyone help?ThanksJuli

Hi, we are considering seting up a public portal where anyone of our leads can quickly check whether they are subscribed/unsubscribed. Anyone has experience setting this up?

For my smart campaign, people should receive the email I’ve created immediately after a specific action occurs, what I understand to be a trigger. However, this action, which comes from our Microsoft Dynamics CRM, is classified as a filter. Is there an easy way for me to convert the filter to a trigger?

When I insert an HTML Element in my landing page, it always ends up going to the whole_thing Div, which then destroys my header and footer info that appears lower down the page.  I've tried to strip the div out and move it in my template, but then I get some 'multiple div' error (don't have that off-hand).Here's a snippet of code - the last line is where my inserted HTML element begins...  I would much rather have that lower down the source page... ideas?  Thanks!!      <div id="outerWrapDiv" class="mktoMobileShow"> <div id="innerWrapDiv" class="mktEditable mktoMobileShow">   <div id="whole_thing" class="mktEditable mktoMobileShow">   <div class="mktoContent mktoMobileShow"><div id='lpeCDiv_81280' class='lpeCElement HTML_1'><div class='lpContentsItem rawHtmlSpan'>

I'm trying to implement an accordion drop down, but everything seems to point that I'll need to create a new template that has the proper jQuery or CSS styles included in them.  I don't think there's a way around this (but would love to hear it if there was!), but my main question is whether either of these options below will be editable on a page by dropping an HTML element instead of hard-coding the template with all the content as well.I've narrowed it down to these 2 options, but if there's an eaiser one out there I'm open to that as well!CSS: http://tympanus.net/codrops/2012/02/21/accordion-with-css3/jQuery: http://jqueryui.com/accordion/#defaultWhen implementing the jQuery option, it doesn't work when I drop the DIV codes in an HTML element -- it all just comes out as text.Any advice out there?  THANKS!!!

Hi all,I've been setting up a live event (roadshow) for the first time, and feel like I'm almost there, but have one final stumbling block.I want leads to be able to click a link in an email, go to a landing page, and submit a form to RSVP and let us know if they can attend or not. I'm struggling to figure out how the RSVP field in the form should work. I want to have a Yes/No dropdown. If they select Yes, it should change their Program Status to 'Registered'. If they RSVP No, it should change their Program Status to 'Declined' (which is a Roadshow status that I've created). My question is how do I make the connection between the field and the program status? I don't want to have to create a field for every event we do, but I'm also struggling to see how a single field could work across multiple events. I need to set it up in a way that will allow me to clone programs, and will allow leads to RSVP to more than one event, possibly with different responses, without it messing up their pro

I understand that Marketo marks all new leads who receive FtaF emails as unsubscribed.  But what if those recipients are already leads in our DB and have already opted-in - is Marketo marking them as unsubscribed as well?  I sure hope not.But if so, would a solutions be to have a trigger campaign always listening for when a FtaF is sent an email (although, I haven't determined how to listen for that in a smart list yet).  And then if lead source IS NOT FtaF (meaning, they're already in our DB), "change data value" of Unsubscribed to FALSE?  I just tried this, but "lead source" isn't something that you can select when building a smart list.

Hi, we use the double div hack to build responsive landing pages.  Our marketing team was interested in using Marketo's social media icons feature in some of our landing pages.  The only way I have seen to implement this is to drag the social media feature on to the landing page inside the landing page builder. Since we do not use absolute positioning, is there another way to insert social media icons.  Is there a Javascript API that I don't know about.    I can change to css positioning to fixed but I would like to have the buttons within the document flow.   Anyone else run into this issue?  Thanks-John

We have some forms that only collect email address. All leads are automatically pushed to SFDC and since Last Name/Company are required, they are automatically set to "NEEDS INFO". When a lead fills in the next form, they are now seeing the ugly "NEEDS INFO" in the pre-populated fields.I do not want to turn off pre-population becasue in most cases the values are correct. However, I would like to be able to clear the field if it contains "NEEDS INFO".I tried this Javascript but it isn't working. Any ideas why or how I can do this? Thanks so much for your help!<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/public/jquery-latest.min.js"></script><script type="text/javascript">    // set no conflict mode for jquery  var $jQ = jQuery.noConflict();  $jQ(document).ready(function(){  var CompanyField = $jQ("#Company");  var LastNameField = $jQ("#LastName");  if (CompanyField == "NEEDS INFO")

We want to have a URL (page X) that immediately redirects to our homepage in order to track visitors coming from a specific place. Even though page X and our homepage both have the Marketo munchkin tracking code, it appears that Marketo isn't able to track visitors to page X because of the redirect. For example, if a lead visits page X and gets redirected to our home page, Marketo will only show that the lead visited our homepage, NOT page X. I contacted support and there doesn't seem to be a workaround, but wanted to check here and see if anyone else has encountered this problem (and found a solution). Thanks!
