How do you add a target blank page on a link that's on a landing page?

What does the "Click to Open" rate mean when sending an email campaign?

I have just imported a static list and marketo has updated some of the lead names that are associated with other contacts for the same email addresses . This being because some schools have general emails. The static list that I imported with the new leads they have been changed to the names to these emails already in the system.  How do I make sure all my lead contact names stay correct from my static list for these email addresses.

You used to be able to click on the program name in the program dashboard, but now it shows the calendar. Anyone know where I can edit the name of an event program?

Is there a way to restrict certain users from sending operational emails specifically?

Hi,I've got a question concerning default-values in Dropdown-Lists.When I am open a new marketing campaign form I can choose a main channel. By default "(Non-specified)" is selected. By reason that about 90%+ of my campaigns are in the main channel "E-Mail", I would like to chose "E-Mail" as the default value.I analyzed that the form refers to the schema "nms:operation", which is a factory-configured object. In fact of this information I have to create an extension object. The XML of the extension object is given below:<srcSchema _cs="Campaigns (fue)" created="2014-09-02 13:51:00.947Z" createdBy-id="0"           desc="Extension Schema by FUe" entitySchema="xtk:srcSchema" extendedSchema="nms:operation"           img="nms:operation.png" label="Campaigns" labelSingular="Campaign" lastModified="2014-09-02 14:52:05.857Z"           mappingType="sql" md5="A66FD32F668697F9E1B9E09B5EA920CE" modifiedBy-id="0"           name="operation" namespace="fue" xtkschema="xtk:srcSchema">  <created

Hi,Is there a way to automatically create a new lead when they fill out a form, even if there is already a lead with the same email address in our database? Thanks!

When I try to create an email in Marketing Activities, my new email template does not show up as an option. How can I use my new template, is there a location where the template needs to be saved to? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Does anyone have experience adding Marketo tags in Google Tag Manager? Please share your experience. Thanks in advance.

Hi,in a real world scenario I have to implement three different operator groups named "supervisor", "manager" and "associate".Each operator group has different rights to implement a marketing plan, program and campaign:The supervisor is allowed to define everything. The manager is allowed to define programs and campaigns. The associate is allowed to define only campaigns. At the moment I have implemented every operator group. That was without any difficulty. Now I have to define the differnt rights to each group. To do that - in my opinion - I have to define named rights by myself. That would be without any difficulties as well. But how can I match the defined named right with the function "create/delete a new plan/program/campaign"?I am looking forward to your support. Thanks,Frank

If we wanted to test a number of different portions of the email campaign, first starting with the entire email, then testing the time and date sent, and finally the subject line. Is that possible? If it is what must be done?

So I have a landing page that's a rather simple form that i am embedding into an iframe within a wordpress post. it looks good. When you hit 'submit' it triggers an automatic link to a pdf, which unfortunately opens up in the iframe. that doesn't look good.  Any advice I've tried to find on this has broken links or no info on the jquery code necessary. Any help is appreciated! Colby

I am setting up a webex event and sending to about 400,000 people and the max that one webex session can hold is 2,000 people. What happens if the session fills up? Is there anything that Marketo does to adjust for that?

This may be a really simple question to answer....how do you add the maximum number of attendees to an event registration site?  Would this be through the smart campaign?

Hey everyone,I am currently trying to utilize the REST API's scheduleCampaign to send out blog posts via email. The basic flow is that when a blog post is posted, get the content, and send it to Marketo via the scheduleCampaign end point.I get this back as the response body: "{"requestId":"xxx","success":false,"errors":[{"code":"611","message":"System error"}]}"Any ideas? Where is there a list of what the error code means? What is a "System Error" in this context? Thanks ahead of time,AJ

Hi all,My team is doing an inventory of our Marketo instance and would like to come up with a comprehensive list of ALL of the smart campaigns we've created in the past 6 months. Does anyone know if there's a way for us to find that out, aside from manually checking the Created date on the overall summary tab of each campaign in our instance? Thanks in advance for any ideas! Hi there,We recently installed the Marketo GTW adapter for our events. The hookup was seamless and everything appears to have worked correctly, as far as the data pushing back and forth from Marketo and GTW.However, while pulling the registration and attendee lists after the event concluded, we noticed that a few email addresses/names appeared in the attendee list but not in the registration list. How is that possible?

Hi Guysany tips on how to set up a flow for unsubcription for example Once a visitor completes the Marketo registration form and if they are a member of ‘Unsubscribed’ List, they should automatically be directed to a different thank you page that says ‘You are currently unsubscribed from our lists, to change that please subscribe again here:” or something to that effect. Thank you

I have a form that has a dropdown containing a number of product areas of interest. For just one of those products, I need to send alerts to any of 5 different salespeople depending on the country the customer has chosen in the "country" field. Each of these 5 people represent a specific region, so my plan is to append the name of the region after the name of the country. For example, Saudia Arabia (MENA). Then I was thinking I would be able to filter by "contains - MENA" and route to the MENA salesperson. I can't figure out how to do this. I tried using the "Send Alert" flow alert and was thinking I would have it look for the product (area of interest) and also the region, but now I see that it will only look for the first choice and stop at that. There's no way to have it look for 2 choices, as far as I can tell.Has anyone done something like this or have a suggestion for a simple way to do this?

For 98% of my lead database, these fields are blank. I would like to understand why these don't get populated on leads that have come in from organic search to my website. Anyone out there know the answer to this one? Thanks.

Hi there,I temporarily switched from JavaScript to FormCalc just to see what functions were available.  It didn't have what I was looking for, so I did not add any functions, I just browsed, then I switched back to JavaScript.  However, now when I view my PDF I get the following error messages which were not there before:Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.

Hi Everyone, I just completed an A/B test but everytime I go to look at the dashboard it defaults to the test view, I want it to default to the regular dashboard. Is this possible? Thanks!!

I've completed the set up, the quick wins, Foundation, and have set up my templates and first full program. I'll be testing all this next of course - not launching until after Labor Day (and boy, am I nervous!)But, what do I do NOW? Convert existing forms to Marketo? Set up some reports? Set up lead scoring? Just import something from the library to start with? Then talk to my sales team to adjust? Set up Sales Insights? What's your best tips for what to do after getting started, and if you could include some resources, great :)Thank you!

I tried to approve a new email template and got an error message. One or more Mkteditable sections have errors. Make sure you have at least one and that they all have valid IDs. I then went into the Validate Code section and it showed these errors. Are these grave issues? If not, how do I bypass this so I can approve the template?  line 11 column 1 - Warning: <style> isn't allowed in <body> elements line 10 column 1 - Info: <body> previously mentioned line 370 column 17 - Warning: <table> attribute "cellpadding" has invalid value "10px" line 453 column 10 - Warning: <table> attribute "cellpadding" has invalid value "10px" line 525 column 12 - Warning: <table> attribute "cellpadding" has invalid value "10px" line 692 column 10 - Warning: <table> attribute "cellpadding" has invalid value "10px" line 777 column 12 - Warning: <table> attribute "c

I am trying to find a list of Marketo Response Codes and meanings for webhooks operations, but can't find any information about the various codes and what they mean. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or provide me with a list? Thanks, Greg
