When a prospect/Profile unsubscribes from a journey, Which system dataset in AJO captures the information. How Journey uses this dataset to exclude the member from further communications when journey uses different identifier

How to join journey_step_events with ajo_message_feedback_event_dataset or ajo_email_tracking_experience_event_dataset. Not able to find profile ID in tracking or feedback table and not able to find messageid in Journey table

Hi there, I am looking to configure an event in AJO, for example I am looking for pagename = A OR pagename = B. But I noticed in the editor I can only use AND statement instead of OR. Just wanted to check if there's a way around this or we need to build something higher level to encapsulate these pages and then filter out by Condition in the journey. Thanks.

hi all,  I am curious how people set up their smart campaigns in the channel campaign.  Is it considered best practice to build an unsubscribe campaign that tracks the people who click the unsub link in that particular email?  Or is the best way to set it up in terms of structure is to not track per campaign since Marketo tracks unsubscribes anyway?Would be solely based on reporting why the additional campaign is set up? I am seeing that this is done in many ways but in terms of best practice, I would love to hear others thoughts.

I'm trying to fetch the site page path that my AEM component resides in. However when I try it with this following method, I get the top-level path returned (i.e. /content/my-site/us/en) instead of the actual page path. Any suggestions on how to adjust this method? Thanks. PageManager pageManager = resourceResolver.adaptTo(PageManager.class); Page currentPage = pageManager.getContainingPage(request.getResource()); String currentPagePath = currentPage.getPath();

Hi All, I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried to capture a task status (timestamp) on timesheet report? For example, have status of task display on a report when the time was entered to the task.

Hello evryone,Currently we are using Adobe Analytics API 1.4, anyone knows when they will be sunsetted ?Thanks

Hello! I can't seem to get projects organized alphabetically within a grouping.  Anyone know how to make that happen?

We are using S_Code H.25.4 on our site currently. We use a JS "on click" command when we have a PDF file download to force those files to report to Analytics. (I do realize that I'm missing the ; in the appropriate spots on these screenshots. When they were in place between each evar definition it has the same results)The struggle we have is that we do not get all our other evars and props that we get with our page views. I tried modifying our OnClick link to add the other evars (and then I'll add sProps after I sort this out), and my link code looks like this nowThe problem we have is... when I load this page, it populates all the correct variables, but when I click to download, it still only populates evar5 (below... Left column is the page load and the right column is the file download click)

We have a campaign launching that will be pushing data into a custom object. In the past (before I was with the company), we had them come in through one field via JSON string and then parsed out in velocity. We can still do that OR push the info into fields within the custom object. Here are examples of the fields we would create and then push them to:  Tier 5 Join date: {marketplace_tier_change_date}Tier 6 Join date: {marketplace_tier_change_date}Temporary stop sell start date:{temporary_suspension_start_date}Next Evaluation date: {next_evaluation_date}Permanent stop sell date: {permanent_suspension_start_date}I personally think it's easier to push this data into individual fields because it makes it "cleaner" and because it's less work on the velocity side. Just curious if there's a best practice for this? A colleague of mine thinks we should just push to one field and parse it out in velocity but I'm not entirely sure why. Is my approach just lazy?&nbs

I would like to configure and fine-tune our preference center. Can we have an umbrella, or parent, content category with sub-categories underneath? For example:  Marketing □* Monthly Newsletter □* Promotions & Product Updates □* Announcements □ Marketing ☑ * Monthly Newsletter ☑* Promotions & Product Updates ☑* Announcements ☑ If a contact selects "Marketing" they opt-in to all of the subcategories and will display a field on their Info page titled "Marketing Subscribe to All". If they unsubscribe to 1, but leave 2 selected, only those opt-ins would be checked, and the "Marketing Subscribe to All" will be unchecked.  Additionally, if a subscriber visits the preference center, could they see exactly what they are subscribed to in real time? Does anyone have any resources they can share with me that could help me understand how I'd be able to accomplish the above? Thank you!

I need to do a bulk delete operation on a folder with a large amount of nodes as the folder we migrated had a lot more junk in it than was originally expected.  So we want to scrap the folder and re-migrate correctly.  However, I have to go folder by folder essentially using the UI delete button.  Is there a better way that I can do a delete in bulk?  I don't have access or ability to change the code but I can leverage something like Postman to hit an OOTB API if necessary.  Just seeing what options I have here.

Hello,   We are currently utilizing the Edge Decisioning API WebSDK to accurately present customers with the most relevant offers. The ask is to present the offer related to customer's most recently viewed product.   What we did Once a customer views a product on our website, a journey is triggered that updates the profile with the ID of the recently viewed product. Subsequently, in our offer decision-making process, we employ a rule that displays the offer associated with that product if it is found in the customer's profile. This is working fine but it takes sometime before the customer see the correct offer.   Whats the issue We are encountering an issue because the journey updates the customer's profile in the hub, but the Edge Decisioning API retrieves profile data from the Edge. The synchronization between the profile on the Edge and the hub can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours, leading to customers receiving incorrect offers.   Question Is it possib

Hi Guys,I've been searching about how to migrate external pages into AEM but seems like there is not much information out there with a general guide in how to implement this process. Let me give you some context of what I'd like to do: Business wants to migrate a website that was built with a different technology. The way we can fetch the data is through an API they have. The response is in JSON format. I don't know if I need to do kind of a transformation activity to convert from JSON to JCR so I'd like to know what kind of steps I need to follow in order to migrate the information into AEM. Do I need to create first all the components, templates, workflows first?. What would be a good way to map the data into the components?.Regards

Hi, we have a running AEMaaCS environment. We are trying to add languages[] into this path, /content/cq:tags, but it does not work. What are some other ways we can update language String[]? to /content/cq:tags

Hello I have a sling java model for component in a page, what I want to do is to take the publish date (this means, the date when you create a page in AEM and click into the publish button)According to the research that I do, the value of the date of publication of the page of AEM is in the crx and is this one: cq:LastReplicatedThis is obtained with the following java code: @586265 @Named("jcr:content/cq:lastReplicated") private Date publishedDate I have used it before to obtain the creation date of a page (jcr:created) (that is when you create a page in AEM regardless of whether it is published or not) and the code is the next one:@586265 @Named("jcr:created") private Date createdDateUnlike when I only obtained the date of creation of the page, here we notice that the date of publication is inside another node (jcr:content) The code has a conditional that if it doesn’t find the date of publication of the page it uses the date of creation of the page (jcr:created) when w

I'm reading the docs on the core Table of Contents Component. The GitHub readme says "./includeClasses - defines an array of strings representing the configured class names to include in the TOC." Where do you add the ./includeClasses property and does it need a true value set for it to work?I've read the docs and clearly missing something.Link to GitHub readme for Component Policy Configuration Properties - https://github.com/adobe/aem-core-wcm-components/blob/main/content/src/content/jcr_root/apps/core/wcm/components/tableofcontents/v1/tableofcontents/README.md#component-policy-configuration-properties

We have a requirement to load an experience fragment in aem author instance (in all modes - edit, preview & disabled) using data-sly-resource approach where as in aem preview & publisher instances we want to load the experience fragment using Server Side Include (SSI) approach. To achieve this I need to identify in the AEM Instance (author, preview or publish) in AEM Sightly Code using data-sly-test approach. Please suggest me how to implement it. @arunpatidar

Custom RTE plugins are not working on full screen dialog mode when they're included in a 2-level multifield.Any examples of JS for RTE plugins that work on 2-level multifield?Any pointers on this use case would be much appreciated.

Hi Folks, I am just planning to start exploring AEM or AEMAaCS to integrate with Chat GPT. Would like to understand how people are currently using it, what and all features chat gpt provides can be used in AEM. Chat, Audio processing, Image generation etc are client specific requirement and can not be used in all AEM projects in general. Which general features can be used in AEM to help and streamline the AEM project, in terms of writing code, generating unit test cases with the help of char gpt. Will chat gpt help in reducing over all development time, or help in generating the code for sling models, unit test etc?I have referred this link to understandhttps://sourcedcode.com/blog/aem/chatgpt-for-aem-developers-aem-developer-gptHowever still looking for an expert hands on advise.  If anyone of you are already using in the project, would be helpful if you can give more insight around this. Thanks,Pradeep

Hi,I have added some fields in the content fragment configuration but they are not reflecting in the existing content fragment model, in the 1st image after "Order Date Label" I have added 4 fields, but in the 2nd photo they are not coming up, what can be the issue, am I missing something?1st Image:2nd Image:CC : @ayush-anand , @arunpatidar , @kautuk_sahni

Implementing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) effectively requires adherence to best practices to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and maintainability of your digital experiences. Here are some key best practices for AEM implementation:Planning and Architecture: Start by defining clear goals, requirements, and use cases for your AEM implementation. Develop a robust architecture that aligns with your business objectives, taking into account scalability, performance, security, and integrations with other systems.Content Modeling: Design a flexible and extensible content model that allows for easy content creation, management, and reuse across channels. Use AEM's content fragments, experience fragments, and structured content features to organize and structure your content effectively.Asset Management: Optimize your digital asset management practices by organizing assets in a logical folder structure, applying metadata, and leveraging AEM's asset workflows, renditions, and dynamic m
