At the time of uploading assets, mandatory metadata fields (It means title, description, and tags etc..,) should also be added and uploaded at dam. When we press the create button and select the local asset, the dialog fields should be such that we enter the required metadata fields while entering the filename field. I was planning to use overload or override the create > files > Upload Assets to make the mandatory field file name along with mandatory metadata fields. Need solution for this, if it possible give a better suggestions. Thanks for advance

Hi All, We have a component working for 8 years, all of a sudden it stops working.  The code is import org.apache.commons.httpclient.*; import org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods.*; import org.apache.commons.httpclient.params.HttpClientParams; import org.apache.commons.httpclient.params.HttpMethodParams; .... String remoteUrl = "https://myremotesite.com"; HttpClient client = new HttpClient(clientParams); HttpMethod method = new GetMethod(remoteUrl); It throws a javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException as: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target  But I can see my SSL certificate under the ssl-service and the URL bar from my publish server.   Also, I tested the code via Unit Test and it works even if I don't have an SSL certificate on my Mac. I loo

Hi, What are the available methods in AEM (Managed services vs Cloud Services) to safeguard custom AEM Form from bot attacks?

I want to add eager loading to image of first slide and lazy loading to images of other slides in the following code. Hi, My organization wants to give Asset Share Commons users the ability to filter assets through a CSV/excel file. The goal is to allow users to upload a file that contains a list of products with unique identifiers (SKU) and have the ASC search results display all assets that pertain to the listed SKUs. The idea would be similar to the Free-Form Text Filter Component, but specifically allowing users to upload a list in a file format. Does anyone have guidance/instructions on how to do this?

Marketo uses a tracking pixel to register email opens. This pixel is being picked up by screen readers as an indiscernible link. I would like to know if there is a way to hide the pixel from screen readers without disabling open tracking.

Hello Community, I'm seeking clarification on how AEP/RTCDP processes date attributes from events for audience segmentation purposes. Consider the following scenario:We receive an event through Data Collection, specifically for a restaurant booking. The event payload is as follows:{"event": "Restaurant Booking","event_date": "2023-12-01","NumOfPerson": 2,"booking_date": "2024-02-02","email": "abc@gmail.com"}Given today’s date is 2023-12-01, we have configured an audience segment within AEP titled "Booking Today" with the following criteria:booking_date = TODAYAs expected, the user with the email `abc@gmail.com` does not qualify for this segment on 2023-12-01 since the `booking_date` is set to a future date (2024-02-02). Here's the crux of my query:When the actual date reaches 2024-02-02, does the AEP/RTCDP system retroactively reevaluate past events (specifically the one from 2023-12-01) to include the user `abc@gmail.com` in the "Booking Today" segment? I believe t

Hello, I would like to know which jsp is responsible for AEM page creation wizard. I need to slightly modify the logic for this. I have a requirement to change the name of some of it's fields (eg : navigation title, page title. etc) for a specific content path (eg : /content/myproject/abc/xyz/). these changed field names should also persist in the page properties wizard. I guess there should be another jsp responsible for it. We are using aem 6.5 with sp12. Thank you for your help in advance.

I have to support some legacy 6.2 systems. Yes I know we should be running the latest 6.5 version. We have a side project to do this but until we have those systems fully integrated to some systems, I still have to maintain the legacy 6.2 systems. We had one instance get corrupted on us and rebuilt a fresh instance. The problem I'm having is that there are some third party bundles that are installed in some of the other systems that are not in this rebuilt system. Our code has dependencies on them. (org.jdom, freemarker, cl.captcha, and others). My question is  where these bundles would be stored on a Linux based system and when our bundles are deployed where they would be stored? I am not seeing a similar structure as I'm used to seeing in 6.5 where you have crx-quickstart/launchpad/felix. Where should I be looking? Thanks in advance.

What are the differences between customer attributes and data providers?

Hi, Is it possible to add the possibility for non administrators to add new folders to the AC folder structure of any kind? As far as I can tell the "Add new folder" menu option is only available for administrators, can it be added to other operators/groups somehow? Non administrators seem to be able to only add folders of the same type as the parent (other menu option "Create new 'XYZ' folder"). If not, does anyone have a workaround for this problem? Regards,Jonas

I am trying to use elasticsearch-java rest api client within AEM servlet. As recommended on Elasticsearch site, I added maven dependencies. I can invoke sevlet properly. Adding elasticsearch-java dependency causes issue with my Sling model. We have sling models but it does not Inject resouce when elasticsearch-java is included in my pom.xml. Here is sample code for model @Model( adaptables = Resource.class)public class MyModelClass{@586265private Resource componentResource;private String facetList; @PostConstructprotected void init() {if(componentResource != null) {// business logic } else {LOGGER.error("Component node not found.");}} I am not sure if issue is due to some maven dependency configuration or is incompatibility issue.  AEM Version - 6.5.16Elasticsearch-java - 8.11.3

HTL Sightly templates are a blind spot in our code base.  We can unit test the Java Classes, the TypeScript scripts or e.g. React.js components, but not the HTL Sightly templates. Does anyone know of a way to (unit) test those?

Hello Team,There are lots of information available for the short URL implementation. Wanted to know the right approach. My scenario:My project handles various domains. each content hierarchy supports various domain site.abc.com/content/client/abc/enxyz.com/content/client/xyz/enpqr.com/content/client/pqr/enShort URL is handled via Apache Sling Resource Resolver Factory, Dispatcher configurationIn the Apache Sling Resource Resolver Factory configuration, we have added these values for publish env. run mode ( only for prod publish)^/content/client/abc/(.+).html</$1.html^/content/client/xyz/(.+).html</$1.html^/content/client/pqr/(.+).html</$1.htmlThen, in the Dispatcher, for each domain, we have separate redirect conf file. So, in each file we have written these line for the re directionRewriteRule ^/$ /en/home.html [R=301,NC,L]This works perfect for all our sites. Even in any component, if we use internal page path then while on hovering the link, this shows short URL. This is good

This is my first time dealing with Audiences in Target (I normally do reporting in workspace), and I'm not sure if the logic for these audiences works the same as segments in workspace. Here's our scenario: we have two types of products - core and marketplaceSo customers would fall into one of 4 groups1. doesn't see any product2. sees only core products3. sees only marketplace products4. sees both core and marketplace products If we were to create an audience where "product does not equal marketplace"That would end up including groups 1 and 2, right? Whereas if we created an audience that says "product equals core"That would end up including groups 2 and 4. Is this logic right? If not, what logic would I need to include groups 2 and 4 in the audience.

Hi, I'm a little bit lost about how manage the third party unsubscription. I have my external landing page for unsuscbribe profiles (info.myexternalunsub.com/Email-Preference-Center.html?&optout=true). So, I will create the message template in a journey and add "External opt out" type in Unsubscribe link Then I can't understand the Subscription API Call, where and when the API call will be triggered? As the final unsubscription landing page (info.myexternalunsub.com/Email-Preference-Center.html?&optout=true) is hosted in an external tool I can't change anything there, neither the green unsubscribe button or the checkbox. Here info.myexternalunsub.com/Email-Preference-Center.html?&optout=true templateHere I can see profile need to add its email so maybe third party tool will make all the work, matching email with opt out behavior but not sure about it. So please if you can guide me step by step the API part and where that endpoint goes and so on as I can'
