I'm creating task templates and would like to add the project name into the task name. Currently, the task name in the task template in our to-do list looks like this:Task nameTask nameTask nameIdeally, we'd like it to be:Project ABC - Task nameProject Lets Go - Task nameProject IX - Task nameIs this even possible?

Hello, curious to know if others are using their request queue as a way to gather all the details needed to run a program (campaign) and then using Fusion to automate the process so that based off what the user selects, a program and their projects are auto-generated?  

Hi everyone, We have a custom form for a Document within a specific portfolio that I am looking to update the Record with. I am able to find the field within Update Record > Document. However I am receiveing a runtime error if [422] category cannot be null. My suspecion is that since the form doesn't default on the document until after you manually select it that Fusion that the Module doesn't see the fields to update on the document. Is there another step I am missing before this? 

I am building a Fusion scenario that will create an audit log for our document custom forms. I have everything setup except for when the custom form is removed. I need to be able to see all the old state custom form IDs and the all the new state custom form IDs. I am using a Watch Events webhook that is watching for updates to documents. We have several custom forms on our documents so the category ID field that is pulled on that module is only pulling the ID of the first custom form added. I used a custom API call and an iterator to pull all custom form IDs into one string. That works but only for the new state. If you pull the oldState:ID into the URL field, it is still the same ID so it will return the new state custom forms.  Does anyone have any ideas for how to pull the old state and new state custom form IDs?

Hello,  I am trying to figure out how to create a calculated filed on custom form which displays a specific user's name based on a specific role ID from the People tab. I have tried getting at the name associated with the role several different ways, but cannot seem to get it to actually pull the name into the field. Hello, is it somehow possible to group the tasks within a project and keep the subtasks idented to their parent task? I understand, that I could change the grouping to parent.<fieldToGroup>, but then the parent tasks are categorized under "no value".  Would it be possible to create a conditional grouping using text mode?  Something likeIF ISBLANK(parent.<fieldToGroup>) GROUP BY <fieldToGroup> ELSE GROUP BY parent.<fieldToGroup>  Thanks in advance. RegardsLars

Hi All - Does your organization have a rule of thumb in regards to the optimal number of days (Duration) that a Task should span as compared to its Planned Hours? For instance: if a Task's Planned Hours = 4 Hours or less, then the Duration = 1 Day. If a Task's Planned Hours is between 5 and 8 hours, then 2 Days Duration. Just curious to see how other orgs handle this. 

I have a task level form that contains fields from a project level form. These fields are all calculated fields that reference fields from the project form. Their formulas are as follows: {project}.{DE:Required Sampled Date}. They do not update when the project level is updated, how would I get them to auto update without recalculating expressions, am I doing this the wrong way?

We have an existing request queue, with the queue project named Pre-existing Issue.Users can enter a request into that queue via Workfront (Requests, New Request, etc.)We recently enabled request intake via email into that same queue, so users can now send an email to the designated intake email address to submit issues into the same queueHow can I capture how many of the issues/requests have been submitted via email?My queue project setup has Queue Details > Queue Properties > Request Type - "Request" is selectedIn an Issues report, the column Issue>>Issue Type seems to report "Issue" if it was emailed, but "Request" if it was entered via the queue.Is that a reliable way to get a count of the number items that were emailed into the queue, or is there another/better way to accomplish this?  

Hi! Would like to show Planned Task Allocation in Timesheet at the task level. (Preferably just a column, but of course could be grayed out next to the task like it's presented in workload balancer) Why it would benefit us: At timesheet approval, approvers are blindly approving actual time without the ability to review planned to actual time. Does anyone else's Help icon/button not work? Nothing happens when I click it. I am a new administrator, so maybe I missed a memo. 

Is it possible to format a column results in project report so that its view/read only? I have an extensive report containing both custom data and calculated columns. Id like to restrict all users to change the custom data on this report.

I don't understand the need for the Watch Field and Watch Record modules. The only 2 starting modules I have used are the Watch Events module and Search module. Why use a watch field module when I can use a watch events and set it to run X times daily. Same thing for the watch record module, why use that when I can use a watch events module that triggers on X creation. I was at one of the seminars and asked the same question and they said I would use the other 2 when I don't need the events instantly but does that even matter when my event webhook can just sit there and build up stuff until the scenario executes? Can someone with more insight explain why there would be any good reason to use either of the 2 triggers over the watch event trigger?

I’d like to Import selections for a dropdown in a form.I'm trying to Export Data (Kick-Starts), and I do not know what to select when downloading a spreadsheet template.Then my next step is to figure out how to import the spreadsheet template with my drop downs.

Any recommendations for translation service integrations / connectors with Workfront? 

My client invited me to join Workfront. I clicked on the invitation with a token, and it worked. I was able to log in and communicate with my point of contact for one day. The next day, I tried to login, and I kept getting a connection error, like timed out. My point of contact tried to troubleshoot it and it did not work. After a couple of days, my contact decided to erase my profile and resent it. I received a second invitation, and it worked again. Then the next day, I tried to log in and the same error message popped up. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINI know it is not our firewall. if it was our firewall, it would have never worked.Anyone ever encountered a similar problem. Any solution? Thank you 

looking to have the actual pending predecessors name display in a task report instead of just the task number that is the predecessor. 

I'd like to filter my project's tasks by Parent Tasks, so only Incomplete parent tasks and their child tasks are visible. Some projects have 200+ tasks and it's difficult to navigate and slows down the system. Being able to filter out completed parent tasks + their child tasks would be great! Would this be possible? FIltering all completed tasks in my case would not be helpful. Thanks for your help! 

I was relying on the Queue Topic path to determine if a request was for Product A vs. Product B. However, some requests are getting sent down the wrong path and I'd rather not have the requestor re-enter the request. I'd like to set up a field indicating Product A or Product B and use that field for reporting rather than relying on Queue Topic. Is there a way to "pre-set" the field to Product A if it goes down the Product A path? But also be able to change it to Product B if it was sent down the wrong path?
