Workfront Fusion

Hi! I have 7 particular custom fields on a Project form, and I need to trigger a fusion flow whenever any of them is changed. I made a calculated field that concatenates the values of those 7 fields, as many answers on this forum suggest--the trouble is, calculated fields aren't selectable in the Watch Field module nor readable in the old state/new state of the Watch Events module, so I have no way of validating whether those fields changed at the start of the module. The operations that follow are somewhat lengthy, so I don't want to trigger them every single time a Project is updated. The alternative is making a separate flow for each field, but that will be a nightmare to maintain. Any tips?

Hi When using Fusion to fetch a radio or checkbox field, Fusion always retrieves the option's value rather than its name. For example, if a radio option is named "Consumers" with a value of "CONS," Fusion returns "CONS" by default. Is there a way to get Fusion to return the option name, "Consumers", for use in downstream processing?

I have a Fusion workflow that iterates through a bunch of information. Once it's fully complete, I need a single update posted to the project that the actions were taken. I can't seem to figure out how to do this correctly. I'm getting multiple updates, 1 for each document I'm iterating through. Any ideas?

Good morning, I have a router that has 4 routes on my fusion scenario. i added a 5th route but i need this route to execute first. I know it can be done but just forgot, how do i change the order of routes so the 5th one i created is first. I tried unlinking the route, moving it up over the other routes and reconnected it, thinking it would be first, but when i hit the magic wand to align the routes it moves it back down to the bottom. Thanks! Does anyone else have issues with their data store finding a "match" record in their data store that is incorrect? This seems to happen anytime we try to add a new row to our data store.  Example: User enters Business Division: BPG, Queue topic: Brightcove Data store information:BPG, Brightcove - assign to BPG TeamAIG, Brightcove - assign to a user The data store assigns the request to the AIG user instead of the BPG team.  

Hi, I'm trying to build a scenario that will download a document (Closed Captioning file), then using a control project in Workfront that contains all the words (Tasks) that need replaced or "bleeped" and replacing them within the document.I understand how I would do this for 1 word, but how do I loop the output of the first replacement into the 2nd replacement and so on..... thanks for any advice,Kelly

I've heard this can be done, but i don't know how. I have a Proof workflow already created and being used, I need to add another step called "Risk review" to the workflow using fusion. Do i have to use the proof custom API to add the step to the workflow. I have the workflow id. all i probably need is the details of the step. Let me know.

I am looking to see if anyone has transferred comments/status of an asset in Workfront Proof to another system (does not have to be Workfront) but I will be pushing these items to a new Workfront environment.  Next level is a "thread" of comments and not just the comment as it comes in from multiple sources.  Example:1. Asset gets pushed to Workfront environment task for review/approval in Proof.2. User rejects proof with comments to update the asset3. Rejection status and comments then trigger a fusion scenario for this data to be added as an Update to a Project in another Workfront system and tagging the user of this response. 

Trying to add an XLS Summary to the already existing AEM asset from Workfront proof. Doesn't seem to have the same issue with PDF Summaries. 

Question reg.  automation of report export (mainly for backup and archiving).  Are there any other options besides manual export and sending by email?Is it possible to automate export of report data with the help of Fusion for further uploading it to another app?If so, how to implement it? Any ideas? 

Hello, So, I’m working on a Fusion flow and trying to use the Misc Action module "Copy Issue" to copy a request from one project to another. Basically, the request has a ton of info, and mapping everything manually with "Update Record" would be a nightmare. For example:Request A is in Project A.I need to copy Request A so it sits in Project B.I’ve got these fields (below) that need to be mapped in Fusion, but I’m not sure which one is for the Request A ID and which one tells Fusion to drop the copy into Project B. Any ideas?  

When Fusion reads a Date field with timestamp at runtime, I've noticed it converts the time... presumably based on the server timezone and how it differs from my own? Please see this screenshot: The first red box is the value stored in Workfront. The 2nd red box is how Fusion interpreted the date/time at runtime (adding 8 hours and thus changing the date from Feb 17 to 18. )  This caused an error for my user because of a filter that stops the scenario if the field "Last Task Autopop..." value = today. (maybe TMI, but I take the last autopop value in WF and set a variable that strips it of its timestamp, making it just a date, and that is the actual variable that gets evaluated in the filter). What might be the best way to keep the the date stored in Workfront in sync with the way the date is read at runtime? Thanks for reading.  

Hi Fusion Community, I have both Search and Iterator modules that produce many bundles.  Within each bundle a user email address is contained.  Bundles might have the same user email address or different ones.   I'd like to produce a list of unique email addresses from these bundles.  Ideally the resultant module has one bundle with a list of unique email addresses. Anyone know how I can do this?Thanks!Nick

I have a document and I am bringing that to my scenario using workfront document download module and now I want to read some values in that document which I am unable to do as the document data is coming as binary output in my module. Anyone faced the same issue?

Hi Fusion Community, I have an iterator module that iterators through a project's hours (many hour entries, some of which have the same hour owner ID). My iterator's output shows a number of bundles. I need a way to store or generate a list of a deduplicated owner ID's when comparing all of the bundles from the iterator output. I am trying to download an MS Word document from Workfront, but I need to convert it to an HTML file first because the output from the MS Word document is not readable. Is it possible to convert it in Fusion without doing it manually? I'm sharing examples below. I've built a very simple fusion scenario which allows a user with a request/review license to upload a document and attach a custom form which then triggers the creation of a proof. Works like a charm ... EXCEPT ... the document owner needs to be assigned as a Reviewer & Approver on the proof and this scenario automatically assigns them as just a reviewer. Here are the modules I'm currently using.If anyone has any ideas on how to update the proofing role to Reviewer & Approver, your help would be much appreciated!

We are considering using Fusion in the near future.  Would anyone be willing to share their experience?  What kind of training did you need?  How fast did you dully adopt and get comfortable with it?  How much time do you spend in monitoring, maintaining, and updating Fusion?  Any draw backs, or lesson learned?

When converting an issue into a project with a specified template, I've noticed that certain settings aren't being pulled in. Template didn't use the correct Schedule Mode typeProgram didn't assign even though it's listed on templateJust wondering if anyone else has experienced this before?  I have created a module to update the project after the fact but I would rather not have to do this every time something doesn't pull over. 

I'm in the middle of creating a fusion scenario that acts like the bulk assignments tool that you would find in the workload balancer.  However, we want to build a scenario that updates all of the correlating task assignments based on a typeahead field found on a project level form. Once the project level typeahead field is filled out, the correlating task assignments in the project would update with that users name, wherever the associated job role would appear.  The issue I'm running into is how to connect the project level typeahead field to those task assignment roles. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Everyone!  I'm new to Fusion and I'm trying to troubleshoot this error that keeps coming up on this template for making an update on project once a proof decision has been made. It's saying I'm missing the value of required parameter objID. But I'm not exactly sure which object it's referring to.  Any help would be great! Also, if you know of any tutorials that aren't related to pulling in data from a spreadsheet and that apply to actual Workfront objects - please share!  

Trying to set the time of projects converted from issues using automation to 9:00am. We have an Update Record Module > Record Type Project > Planned Start Date Field. setHour(35.plannedStartDate;9)   This works and changes the hours but the minutes still use whatever minute it was when the project was created. We tried to add setHour(35.plannedStartDate;9),setMinute(35.plannedStartDate;0) but it fails.   Anyone know how I can accomplish this?
