Workfront Fusion

I'm working on a fusion scenario where I am setting the metadata properties to my custom component dynamically. Below is the high level structure of a single collection of JSON data.  I need to get properties from myContentAttributes collection and create a structure like this:"mycustomComponent": {"item0": {       "propName": "propA",       "propValue": "valA"},"item1": {       "propName": "propB",       "propValue": "valB"},"item2": {     "propName": "propC",     "propValue": "valC"},.......}I am able to get the property names by iterating through keys of myContentAttributes but not sure how to get the values of corresponding properties. Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to have fusion generate a unique/random reference id for let's say a document, so when formatted ex. " CL <refid> MMYYY " can be used to track documents or used in a custom dropdown field in WF without having to use the doc id thats in the URL by default? almost like how a project has it's own refid associated to it.

Hi there, We have a requirement to integrate Workfront with Azure Dashboard.Can we use Fusion DevOps module to connect to Azure Dashboards and read Agile user stories/tasks/hrs of specific users ?  Also the users spread across in different teams and each team has their own Azure boards. So I'm looking if we can use Fusion DevOps to connect to our Azure Org and query all user stories/tasks/hrs for each users. Thanks,Antony.

I'm exploring a solution to record the number of times a user with a specific Primary Role make a decision on a Document Approval.  We're wanting to report on how many times a piece goes through a particular business function for review before the piece gets approved. Can't seem to figure out the appropriate triggering event to set up. I was thinking it would be a Workfront Watch Events module with a Record type = Proof Approval and State = New state with a filter where ApproverDecision Changed and Record Origin = Updated Record Only. Alternatively, is there a way within Workfront to count the number of decisions made by a person on a piece?  When I report on Document Approvals it only returns the last decision made; neglecting any previous reject decisions that were made.

 When viewing a Scenario history, when looking at a Filter inspector such as the one pictured here, there are some filter criteria that appear with a green check. There are some with a gray "circled dot" and others with a red slashed circle, such those shown in Bundle 4 of the picture. What is the difference between the gray "circled dot" and the red slashed circle? Do the ones with the gray "circled dot" mean that the scenario stopped checking additional criteria once it got a positive hit on one of the criteria?    Thank you, Myles

I have some fusion processes where, under certain conditions, multiple Role IDs for the Project Manager (PM) are being added to specific tasks. I’ve tried various approaches, but I haven’t been able to successfully deduplicate the Task RoleID field to prevent duplicate roles from appearing. I cannot get he deDuplicte function to work.Any advice or guidance on how I can address this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi All, I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to connect multiple user typeahead fields that live at a task level with a user object so that I can pull in multiple fields from the task to a user level report. Would appreciate any guidance on making these connections.

We want to setup a user within Fusion as a Developer. This developer has an Admin Account within the Sandbox environment. But we want to be sure this user when creating scenarios, does not USE someone else's connection to an existing production connection. So in short, when the developer works on a scenario, he should only be able to his own account to setup connections, and NOT use any of the existing connections for other users. Is this possible using the Member Role within Fusion (ensuring the developer can only use connections created by him or connections to Sandbox only)?

Hi All,  I'm trying to create a fusion scenario that looks for children tasks missing a particular calculated field then attaches a form that carries that field to the task. 

Our team uploads documents into multiple project folders. I am looking for way to be able to pull in documents that live in multiple folders in an email. Is it possible to have an email look at multiple folders and attach the documents within them? Thanks!

I'm facing one challenge while merging two JSON collections. For example collection1--> {"key1":"value1","key2":"value2"} and Collection2-->{"key3":"value3"}. I need output like {"key1":"value1","key2":"value2","key3":"value3"}. I tried by converting this object into an array and merging these but I'm getting an array of objects like [{"key1":"value1"},{"key2":"value2"},{"key3":"value3"}]. I need all the elements in a single object. Please let me know if anyone is facing the same challenge and if you have a solution, please share it. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hello everyone,  Pretty new to the Fusion scene so apologise if this has been answered somewhere else/for the silly question. I am having the following scenario and I am having some troubles with setting the filter up:there's an excel that I am having and that I am creating requests based on it, and I would like to set some filters up so that not all requests within the excel are created on the same day, therefore I have introduced a column (days of the week) so that I can filter by it. Now here comes my issue: I am unsure how to filter by "today". In workfront we had the $$TODAY variable that we could use, I see in Fusion there's the "now" variable, but I cant seem to make it work, I ve tried pretty much all the operators and conditions and I am out of ideas. I could make like 5 scenarios for each day of the week but I believe there should be another way of doing it within the same scenario. TLTR: I'd like to filter by a column (value) that has the days of the week

I have a scenario that ends in a custom API to do a POST call. It's throwing an occasional "[422] Invalid Parameter" error. Apparently, some users are pasting control characters (namely TAB) into task names and when fusion throws them into the JSON response it's failing.  I've tried using the ascii() function, which seems to strip the character out, but the error is still being thrown, which I don't understand at all. Thoughts?

How would I insert multiple shortened hyperlinks into a custom field that lead to different places? What kind of field would I need to use? Ex.Go to API ,Go to Google

I am trying to set the duration of a task in Fusion. I am assuming that "day" is the default duration and simply entering the number "2" in the Duration field (trying to enter any letter such as d for day shows an error,. but it is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to export ALL Workfront project templates as excel files using Fusion. At our company we need to keep a copy of the xls file as a source of truth. I've been exporting them all individually as they change but would really like to find a way to just export them all at once. Admittedly, I haven't spent a lot of time looking into it 😉 Thank you!
