Workfront Fusion

Hi, Can anyone suggest how can I auto-populate fields across different custom forms using Workfront FUSION? Let say, I have two project name A and B . Currently I am manually updating the same field in different custom form across project A and project B. I want to figure out a way where a custom form field is filled out once and propagated across the different custom form in the A & B projects. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. TIA!!  

Hello dear community. I have a template where I have assigned a team in my template tasks. However, I would like to change the team for a specific user that belong to that team once project status is changed from planning to current (depending on the customer unit a user, will be the assignment) using Fusion. I see assigned team belong to a parameter called "assignmentsListString" when I use a "read a record" module. However, when I try to delete it and replace it using an "update record" module and selecting "task" as a record type "assignmentsListString" field does not exist. Do you know which module I can use to update the task assignment deleting a team and replacing with a user? Thanks in advance.  

Hi, I'm looking to create a PDF document that can be uploaded to the Project Document area, containing all the custom fields associated with the project. Has anyone done something similar in Fusion? Which modules should I use to build the Fusion workflow? Thanks!!

Can anyone provide guidance on how to upload a document to a 'linked' folder using Fusion?I figured out how to do this a couple of year ago, using the internal calls by seeing how it's done in the Workfront UI (with the Chrome debugger turned on). This worked for quite some time using:https://{domain}/internal/documents/moveDocumentsPOSTdocumentIDs=xxxxxxx&newFolderID=xxxxxxx&originalFolderID=xxxxxxxThis no longer works.  I get a 200, but it's just now working and the response is a bunch of HTML.I know that there is an action called linkExternalObjects that I have never got working.Has anyone been able to get content copied/moved/uploaded to a linked folder with Fusion?

Hi,  We are building  a program request to cater to the needs of multiple content and channel activation. In the request form, we are letting requestor to choose a portfolio from the list of portfolios inside Workfront. This was set up by putting the Typehead - Portfolio field:   After the portfolio is selected, we will get the requestor to choose whether the request is for an existing program or not. If the request is not for an existing program, we will create a new program and attach it under the portfolio they selected under the typehead field previously.  Under the Create a Record - Program module, I mapped the field of Portfolio ID with the typehead field of Portfolio entered by the requestor when they submit the request:  However, we received an error saying The operation failed with an error. [404] Portfolio with primary key value(s) "{"objCode":"PORT","name":"2024 Automation Test","ID":"65b9bf100001db03b2fc7434d3d63b7e"}"

How do we give the Photoshop Connector in Fusion Write Permissions? Currently we can read a file and get the layer info, but we can not edit the layer info. We need to be able to WRITE to edit the layer.

Our team has been trying to create a scenario that downloads a PDF from Workfront and creates an alterate preview to an asset in Acquia DAM. The scenario works fine until it gets to the custom API call to create the alterate preview.  Has anyone successfully done this using Workfront and Acquia DAM with the PDF asset loaded in Workfront?

Hi, I'm working on a scenario that triggers when a task status is updated to be completed. It gets the task details and if there are documents associated with task, it should get the details like document id and name. I was able to get the task details and find if task has documents or not but when I do read a related record on task, I'm not able to get document details. Scenario :  Result of read a record module:Configuration of read a related record module: Result of read a related record module: Am I missing any configuration? Using Fusion how do I subscribe a user to a given project? I looked at the API but I can't seem to find a module add a subscriber and I don't know what API call I would use to add one.

Hi. I could use some fresh eyes on this...I'll make up a simple example to sketch out what I'm trying to do:  I have 2 data stores. I start each run of the Scenario by clearing both of the stores. As the Scenario progresses thru various API calls, the data starts to take on the following structures:  Data Store A looks like this (pretend that each area between hyphens is a column):  - Row 1 -  Aisle 1 - eggs - - Row 2 -  Aisle 1 - cheese - - Row 3 -  Aisle 1 - butter - - Row 4 -  Aisle 2 - OJ - - Row 5 -  Aisle 2 - berries -  For Data Store B, I want a table where each row represents an aisle that will hold a concatenated string of the contents of that aisle: - Row 1 -  Aisle 1 - eggs & cheese & butter - - Row 2 -  Aisle 2 - OJ &. berries -  To build this string for Data Store B,, I wanted to loop thru each row in Data Store A, take the item

Hi, I'm trying to create a WF fusion scenario that gets triggered whenever any task status changes to be completed in WF. Once the scenario gets the task details, it checks if there are documents associated with the task and if yes, it should upload the document to AEM assets folder. What would be the best possible way to achieve this? I'm trying to use webhook to get updates on task status changes but not sure how to configure it. Thanks in advance!

I have assigned users to an issue, but when I do they are added with manage permissions. I would prefer to update the sharing on the issue, and simply share the issue with contribute access. Does anyone know if that is possible through the API?

I am trying to use Workfront Fusion to post an update on the Program level. The use case is when projects are created and added to the program, an automatic update will be posted on the Program to notify users that projects xyz are added. I don't see an 'statusUpdate' field to map from the drop-down. Is this option not available on the Program level?

Does anyone have an existing integration between Jira and Workfront going for connecting the data? I'm looking at estimating transactions required for this type of integration and would be curious if you could share with me the estimated monthly transaction for your scenario.

What is a good way to track each scenario's run count. I have been looking around for a good answer to this but I can't seem to find/think of one. The scenario report tab seems so lacking in information and the same goes for creating reports in WF in relation to Fusion. Any ideas or suggestions help, thanks!

Is workfront fusion and workfront instance associated in any way? Can a workfront fusion instance available in a client org be able to hook into multiple workfront instances and listen to creation of certain requests and trigger the requisite scenarios depending on which workfront instance event happened?

I keep getting this error when working in Fusion with any WF connectors. Some of my connections are working like Microsoft 365 email and others not working like any WF connectors and Microsoft Excel. Is anyone else having issues right now? 

This issue started Friday with modules connected to Airtable. I got an error message when I clicked into a module to edit it. I couldn't edit, and it said "Failed to load data" Then it has a red triangle below it that says "Not found!" OK, so I reauthorized the Airtable connection. Then I noticed it on my Microsoft 365 connections, too. And then, this morning, on my Workfront connections. All of them. Every module now in my Fusion scenarios is returning the same error if I click to edit them, but the scenarios themselves seem to be working fine. I should also mention that I am getting an error when going to admin console to check my access. Our TAM is looking into it, but anyone else see anything like this before? 

Hello, I'm having a hard time understanding the JIRA API Module for Custom API Calls. When configuring the "connection" for this Module, one of the things it asks you is the "Service URL"  and I'm really confused what this URL is since it calls it "Instance URL" ???? Is the instance and service URL the same thing?  It's described as the jira instance URL ... what is that?  Is it your - https // < jira server instance>.atlassian.net /  ... addressIs it your - https // <some other path that I don't know > / ... address found within JIRA Admin ConsoleIs it your - https // <jira server instane.atlassian.net / rest / api / <version #>  ... addressor is it just something else .. I've checked the documentation for this via the "?" on the module but that leaves a bit to be desired for someone configuring it for the first time. Any thoughts on which URL this is. I've tried a few and none of them work.  Thank you! &#1285

I haven't had luck finding documentation on a couple of basic things. Examples provided on this site don't seem to address my specific use cases: 1) For a Switch() statement, where do I put the Else condition? I'd like the variable value to default to "n/a" if none of the cases are true in the below example:  2) For an If() statement, what's the syntax when testing equality with strings? In the below example, I don't use quotation marks because I didn't need them in the Switch() statement, but I notice that Fusion inserts  "+" and a quotation marks when I preview the statement before running just the one module. The intent is that the variable value should be set to "Flow" only if both conditions (assayMethod=Biomarker and assayPurpose=Flow Cytometry) are met, and yet when running the module, I always get a variable value of Flow, regardless of inputs:  >>> this is what it looks like in the "Run this module only" preview >>> &nb

I have a project that has 7 forms attached. The target form is not the top form, but say the 5 form in the stack.I have a Fusion Scenario Watch Event (Instant/Acid) set up to trigger when a project is updated with a specific categoryId.When I update the target form in the project, Fusion scenario does NOT fire.When I adjust the form stack on the project and move the target form to the top of the stack and then update the form the Fusion scenario does fire.Is this normal behavior? How can I make sure to get all form updates on any form using Fusion?
