Adobe Analytics

In my marketing channel reporting, I have the default channel labeled None (essentially everything that doesn't meet any of my processing rules). However, when I create a segment/filter on None, I don't get the None channel. I get literally nothing. How can I actually filter to None?  

Hi All,We have a client who owns multiple domains under same Organisation and uses same VisitorID service. With the help of the demdex cookie we have  the same ECID on all the different websites. After disabling 3rd party cookies in the browser settings and clearing the browsercache/storage, we got a different ECID on each website.We are using this cross-website tracking with the help of the demdex cookie in our reports, primarily to evaluate the customer journey from one website to another website.This demdex cookie will be disabled after 3rd PArty Cookie deprecation, so is there any alternative solution of demdex cookie so that croos website tracking is still possible and same ECID is generated across all websites.Please note  : Top-level domain (TLD) is common among all websites Second-level domain (SLD) is common among all websites Only Third-level domain is different  among all websitesWould this make any difference ? Hello,  I've read documents about BDIA followed steps. (https://spark.adobe.com/page/0jhQHMs74AtYz/)It works well and I believe it is definitely useful tool. But when I wanted to insert metric data, I don't know how to do that.According to upon the documents, if I want to insert events data, I have to setup the column name on "events", for example, and typed "event1" below "events".If I wanted to insert 110,000 traffics of event1 in terms of "prop1", do I need to type "event1" 110,000 times?Is there any way to insert static number? or way to insert metric data easily? I've tried to find some information of this, I couldn't find anything 😞Please save me from my trouble. I am analyzing some data with Adobe Analytics We have tracking in to capture "EventA" when a user clicks on any of the four tiles on the page. The event fires each time the click happens on any of the tiles each tile also has an attributed internal tracking code (eVar)  on pageview calls post the click  When i do a comparisonthe internal tracking code instance (eVar instances) is 6800Where as the clicks (EventA) is 2300.  The one reason for it to be a higher is page reloads.  What could be the other reason for such a high difference? 

I am doing a test with experiences A-E and want to monitor interaction with an accordion. I am using dd-data tracking in the class of the element: E.G dd-data-linkdata-dd-link="clicked on accordion"data-dd-loc="final details page"data-dd-group="motor"  This will show in the data layer for analytics as a P37 tagI want to be able to filter out the multiple clicks from some customers so I can report on of all the customers who visited the page X% opened the accordion I don't want to dilute the number by having accordion closes count as an instance when its clicked & inflate the interactions to look higher than they are.I also don't want a customer clicking to open and close this element 10 times look like 10 possible opens when 5 are closes.  How would you suggest going about this? Many thanks in advance 

We have some cases whereby expected behavior is not happening.  When a visitor visits our site for the first time, they have to interact with our cookie panel and hit accept.  When they hit accept, it triggers two successive page load beacons - one for the page that had the cookie banner, and one for the page without the banner.  Within the first beacon, the 2 custom events which we have setup capture that a) they have seen the banner and b) they have hit accept. In about 3-4% of cases we see the custom events within the 2nd hit.  There is only milliseconds of difference but we don't understand the decision around how AA splits these into the different hit depths. Can someone shed some light here. 

How do we disable Activity Map on specific pages in AEP Web SDK implementation?

I am planning to build some dashboard what are the adobe analytics variables are enable or disable based on the report suites. How do i get all the conversion/traffic/events Variables from Report Suite Manager with all configuration details? Do we have any specific API to pull those details?  I find this link but not see all configuration details as we setup in the adobe variables - https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/guides/endpoints/metrics/ 

A long time user of Adobe Analytics now cannot login. When they try to login they get a page with the title "Failed to load page". Any ideas?

Hello,I am using my sandbox Adobe Analytics report suite, to upload server calls using the bulk data insertion API. I was successfully able to upload my compressed batch file (csv columns format) using curl command on windows terminal. Also, I got successful response in terminal saying input rows processed and uploaded successfully. After successfully uploading and waiting for 2 days, I still do not see any data in my report suite, event page names is not being captured. I am attaching my batch file and screenshot from my terminal. I am not sure why the data is not being reported in Adobe Analytics reports. I am working on a application where users land on domain 1 with UTMs and on click will navigate to domain 2 that opens in a new tab. Both the domains have Adobe Launch enabled ( 2 Properties) but data being sent to same report suite. During reporting we noticed activities on domain 2 are not tied up to UTMs and instead accounted as Direct Traffic.what would be right approach here to connect UTMs to domain 2 traffic

I am looking to make some API Calls to the Adobe Analytics API, specifically within Java. I cannot find any documentation on the gradle dependencies needed in order to do so. I believe there is an AnalyticsClient.java class that I need to use, but I can't figure out which dependency will bring that in. Is there any documentation on which specific gradle dependencies can be used for adobe analytics work? 

Hi Analytics Team, I have been working on Adobe Analytics for some time.In case of data collection i do see evars1 to evar30 and same for props but when i jump to Adobe Analytics screen and try to filter evars  to use them i just see first 4 variables(in Screenshot).I am not able to get how to use rest of the variables.Please let me know if anyone knows about this, Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone -We have noticed high volume difference between Adobe Analytics Page views for a specific page (filtered to specific page) and Splunk html_ref requests for that page in server-side logging.The difference is around 1:10 that means for every 100 Page views in Adobe Analytics we see 1000 html resource requests in Splunk. Please note: Splunk would log all resources but we've filtered to ".html" document requests only. Has anyone else encountered this scenario? What would be the possible solution?

Does CJA has functionality which enables creation of heatmaps?

Is it possible to buy Customer Journey Analytics as standalone product without CDP?How then the data is collected and where is stored?

I am setting up Adobe Analytics with the WebSDK but I want to make sure we are set up for success with CJA in the future. Is there anything I can do now that will make the set up of CJA easier?  Thanks!

Hi!We are in process of Switching our App measurement code into AEP Web SDK and send data to Adobe Analytics (Use the same Schema and share data with AEP Data Lake in near future). And I see in one of the articles, adobe have mentioned that using default Adobe analytics experience event schema can create confusion for data admins or architects and it also make it difficult to use other platform services such as Adobe journey optimizer or Real - Time Customer Data Platform. Adobe also recommended to use data object that allow you to send data to Adobe analytics without confirming to XDM schema . My questions is, what exactly the drawback of using Experience event schema ?  and has anyone used data object to send data to adobe analytics and how it works ? Send data to Adobe Analytics using the Web SDK tag extension | Adobe AnalyticsThanks,Pradeep

How does the Visit Number dimension work in Adobe Analytics? Does it take into account the reporting time frame or the lifetime of the visitor?

Is there a way to configure override last touch value in CJA similar to that of adobe analytics ? How does the last touch channel attribution work for below use case? Marketing channel derived field:- if utm source equals “email” then “email”- if referrer contains “facebook/instagram” then “social”- if referrer contains “abc.com” then “Internal”- otherwise set value to “direct” use case: new user visit home page website via email(utm_source) -> user navigates to product  page -> add to cart page -> checkout page(purchase) What would be the last channel attribution for the purchase? Email? Direct?

 Hi All,I am looking for a solution to calculate the number of visits where users had at least three pageviews, but I need to exclude the visits where the third or subsequent pageview is not the Homepage. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to extract this data from Adobe Analytics?  Thanks,S Kala
