Good morning everyone 🙂 I was wondering if i could via script, change the name of the PDF file that is created when i use the submit button and it attaches the current PDF into an email. Something like a name + date:: 2023-01-25_FN LN.PDFAnd just in the hopes this helps, i use the following script to fire off the said email:event.target.submitForm({cURL: cEmailURL,cSubmitAs:"PDF",cCharSet:"utf-8"}); Thx again for the help, this would be awesome if its doable. PAtrick  

We have a use case where we have to design a form divided into sub forms , tables(static and dynamic) , nested tables and each section have a different requirement of headers. We can handle continuous tables or sub form header with the help of multiple master pages. But with multiple master pages it creates a space between continuous sections following particular master page style and the new section always start with a new page following other master page style. Is there a way can we start a new master page sections just after end of previous master page sections to remove spaces? Attached a sample explaining the use-case

Hi,My AEM instance has suddenly broke.It logged me out and all the style sheets look weird.As you can see below the fonts and input boxes are weird and when i click sign in i get taken to this url:http://localhost:4502/libs/granite/core/content/login.html/j_security_check and on the url there is this error message: Access to localhost was deniedYou don't have authorisation to view this page.HTTP ERROR 403i cant get to any other urls so i cant even get to the sling logs.when i go to the CRX and try logging in it says details dont match:can anyone help me fix this?

I have osgiconfig folder inside /apps/kb and I have install folder inside /apps/kb-packages. I could see these folders and files(config, jar, zip) files in local as below (local AEM ) But when I deploy the code to AEM cloud, I dont see "osgiconfig" folder and install folder is not appearing in aem cloud as like below AEM cloud instance Also I have installed wcm core components in the cloud and I don't see any entry for /apps/core/wcm/components but I have this hierarchy present in my local aem. Can anyone explain what are the folders that will not appear in aem cloud ? is there any to check ? It is really confusing whether wcm core component is present or not and osgiconfig is present or not.

I have an installable AEM package(external-app-1.0.7.zip) and I am able to  install this in my local AEM by uploading it in the package manager. In cloud I can not install as it contains /app/mypackage since it is an un-mutable AEM cloud instance and could not install the package through package manager. Hence I am planning to keep the external-app-1.0.7.zip in the resource folder like ...all/src/main/resources/external-app-1.0.7.zip as part of the codebase itself. I am planning to use the <embedded> feature to embed this package.  <embedded><groupId>com.adobe.cq</groupId><artifactId>lorum</artifactId><type>zip</type><target>/apps/mypro/application/install</target></embedded> But I don't have artifact and groupid for this package. Is there any way I can install external-app-1.0.7.zip as part of maven deployment  

I have seen somewhere in the forum people recommend to use the maven scope system. if I include my jar location(local maven repo path) in the system path and embed that in the pom, the jar will be embedded in the AEM bundle and it would work fine. If I commit that code in the GIT other developers will need to change the repo path location corresponding to the local. Is that a good approach? Or do we have a recommended practice for this?

Hi All        Is it possible to bundle a third party bundle along with our project bundle through MAVEN? We have faced issues with this many times. Most of the time what i do is to directly install the third party bundle to Felix console and add the dependency to my POM. I am looking for a better approach than this in which everything goes in one shot (bundled in my project )as and when I install my package. TIAVeena

I had this question for a long time , especially for Maven bundles. I am not sure if this is the right way but I figured out something after going through many (actually not dat many ) How to add a third party bundle to you AEM package ? | LinkedIn  Hope this helps . I would really like to know if this is a right way to do this. Anybody who has previously done this can let me know if this is ok. For me the packages are behaving as expected even when I do fresh build.

I have few queries regarding brand portal . Let me know if you have any pointers. Is there way we can restrict users to see specific folders inside brand portal ? For eg: If we have Folder A and B and I want to provide access to my users for folder A only.When we are sharing assets through brand portal , then outlook/Gmail emails are getting triggered or only notifications will come inside brand portal under task and notifications section ?Can we share assets using brand portal  to external users email id ? If yes, can they download those assets ? Note: Above asked queries are for Adobe Brand Portal and not for AEM.

Hi Team   I am trying to work on a POC with Helix in which I am trying to generate a website using input from Excel sheets. Unfortunately, there is not much information available about this ambitious project from Adobe. I have found very little documentation on the implementation and no community help content either.   I have referred to https://www.hlx.live/home and https://www.hlx.live/developer/tutorial. This tutorial talks about using Google Docs. According to the documentation (https://www.hlx.live/docs/faq), Franklin supports editing content in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets, as well as any custom authoring environment and AEM's Universal Editor.   I want to do a POC on converting Excel to a website using Helix. Hi everyone. I am using the navigation core component given by adobe to create my header and I have implemented it into my header component without making any changes. Now, I have added custom page properties and I want to display them using my navigation component. I cannot use the current page's page properties since I want to display all the level 0's page properties. I've tried extending the core navigation model but there's a lot of different models I will need to change. Is there any other way to achieve this or is extending the core model the only way?Thank you!

I downloaded the quickstart jar file (link provided by Adobe support team) but it's only showing loadingI also changed the port number from the default 6502, but its not working.Any idea?

I have a barcode on the master page that needs to move based on values in the data.  This works perfectly on a content page but the barcode doesn't move on the master page.  I have a couple of forms (developed by someone else) that have content pages that are filled with subforms. When I try to place the barcode on the content page it contends with the subforms and doesn't move at all.  Is there a way to make this work on the master page or get the barcode to "float" over the subforms on the content page?

Hi Team, I am recently working on converting PDF forms developed in  AEM designer to make them HTML5 Compatible. However i am facing issues with the Floating fields.It seems that the values are getting properly assigned to the variables but they are not getting displayed on the form. The same is working with the PDF version but is not working with the HTML5 form.Can someone please guide me through this issue as i am not able to find any solutions for the problem. Thank You 

Hey folks, I'm working on an implementation for custom Sling Model exporters that rely on a GSON-based export framework we've built. What I want to do is change the way the JSON serialization happens every time this component is serialized.   I have it working so that if I fetch the component directly:   http://localhost:4502/content/my-app/us/en/jcr:content/root/container/container/section_container/mycomponent_54231355.model.json     I get the custom JSON I am expecting. However, if I fetch the page:   http://localhost:4502/content/my-app/us/en.model.json     Then I just get the OOTB serialization for this component (which is nested in the child components for the page).   How can I override the way this component is serialized including as part of the full page JSON?   My component:   @Model( resourceType = Breadcrumb.RESOURCE_TYPE, adaptables = { Resource.class, SlingHttpServletRequest.class } ) @Exporter
