Hello, We've been trying to create a process where a workflow updates a property on an asset. Has anyone had any success with creating a workflow like this?

A Brand Design Style Guide would ideally display assets embedded from Figma.   Required: Embed a specific file (using the share link in Figma) No authentication necessary for the public Figma files/prototypes Choose from a set of aspect-ratios, e.g.: 1:1, 3:2, 5:4, 16:9, 9:16 Is there an integration plugin? How much effort is necessary to build such?

Hello I'm trying to clone the 'Launch Approval' Workflow to create 'Group 1 Launch Approval Workflow' Currently 'Launch Approval' is tied to asset property 'Review Status' I would like to create 'Group 1 Review Status' on the metadata schema and tie that to our cloned 'Group 1 Launch Approval Workflow'. I'm able to create 'Group 1 Launch Workflow'. However I am unable to create a field in meta data that ties to our 'Group 1 Launch Approval Workflow'. I have searched for documentation on this functionality, and have searched in the questions on this forum but have not found anything sufficient. Thank you 

Hi teams, Recently according to customer's request I am doing some investigation regarding a AEM workflow issue. While I am checking the author log I found the following error being recorded.  00:30:52.385 [cm-p16063-e41235-aem-author-8647d5d7ff-ggkns] *ERROR* [xxx.xx.xx.xxx [xxxxxxxxxxxx] POST /content/dam/{asset path}/upload.completeUpload.json HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.cq.assetcompute.impl.servlet.CompleteUploadAssetServlet Complete upload asset servlet commit failed due to conflict for asset [/content/dam/{asset path}/xxx.pdf] Does any one have an idea what is this "Complete upload asset servlet commit failed due to conflict for asset" error? Hi dear Community,hope you are having a nice day. Me again with my questions...In Adobe Brandportal i get all the dynamic media renditions, but what about the image profiles?Currently i see no option to include my smart-cropped renditions as a download option for the brandportal users.Does anybody has an idea how to enable the image profile renditions?Regards,Adilos

I am trying to set the images from DM can be accessed with extension like .jpg. The DM serves the images like below without any extension  https://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/siliconlabssandbox/hiking_2   To enable the extension with preprocessing rules , i have created the below rules set xml and uploaded to the catalog through Classic App as mentioned in documentation. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <ruleset> <rule> <expression>(.*)\.jpg(.*)$</expression> <substitution>$1\2</substitution> </rule> </ruleset>   I am trying to hit https://s7d1.scene7.com/is/image/siliconlabssandbox/hiking_2.jpg , it throws me " Unable to find image   Any idea on how to make it work? If we choose to convert all the images on a page to smart crop images, what effect will it have on the page speeds as it has to load the images from S7 cloud? Will it reduce the speed?

Hello everyone, Can someone please help me understand why the payload directory created by the Watched Folder is not showing up in the CRXDE? Basically, what I did was to create a Watched Folder bonded to a workflow in the AEM instance using the following configuration: The workflow is trying to do is to retrieve an XML file placed in the input folder created by the WatchedFolder, but when I try to navigate to the payload directory, the last folder is missing: Payload Directory: CRXDE:Let me know if more information is needed to determine the root cause. Thanks

When trying to get the config values of  Apache Jackrabbit Oak UserConfiguration using org.osgi.service.cm.ConfigurationAdmin, the custom core bundles is getting bound to the user congifuration which crashes the instance. May I know why its getting bound. Has anyone faced this issue before, if yes please do let me know how to fix this issue.

Hi, I am trying to integrate with Smart Content API, then I am getting all the details which I have to copy to my AEM Smart Tag service in my local instance but then "Retrieve Client Secret" is not working for me I have clicked on it and it says "I don't have the access to edit". So, can you please help me as I have to paste this in my local configurations.Also, I checked/validated the integration by going to Web Console > Main > JMX then searched for "Similarity search" and here in this, I checked on validate then getting the below popup.

Hi All,   I need a report of all the assets which are used in the website, in all pages of the website, not all the assets in assets section. I tried OOTB reports , but I am not able to add custom column like references for that Image in the report because we don't have any filed called references in the metadata. It shoudl has at least one reference, that means it is being used in at least one page.   Please help.   Best Regards Ganesh

We are trying to work around the limitation that you cannot apply Dynamic Media Image Serving and Image Rendering API syntax to Smart Crops.   The base use case is that we need to generate large square Smart Crop and then create 5 smaller images from that Smart Crop starting point.  (For clarity, we need a 2000x2000 Smart Crop and then would like to generate a 100x100, 300x300, 500x500 image from that Smart Crop.)  We are working on AEM 6.5, so the AEMaaCS feature to generate multiple Smart Crops in the same aspect ratio is not available to us (and would not work regardless because the client would only want to review/adjust the Smart Crop once and then generate smaller iterations from that starting point, whereas Smart Crops generated in the same aspect ratio are adjusted individually).   Adobe does not allow you to add Image Serving API syntax to the Smart Crop URL, or we could just add a wid=100 parameter to adjust the required size.   We thought we had a so

This has been an ongoing question for our DAM Admins and Librarians.Occasionally our Librarians do not have the option to publish an asset from the DAM due to a sub-asset (an image used in this asset) having been expired.This image asset was previously ingested to the DAM, and used in an older asset and is now expired.   So a totally new asset was created and ingested to the DAM, and it used a copy of the same image asset that was already in the DAM, with a different file name.   Here is the new asset to be published with the Status in Red showing "Sub-Asset": Once you navigate to the asset's metadata Properties you see the list of References, and the second red-flagged item represents the same image used in the new asset to be published:   I would like to understand more about Sub-assets and References to these sub-assets in order to avoid this issue in the future.Does this have anything to do with the way that a Creative might re-use an image asset from the DAM in anot

I'm trying to get the asset's actual path used in the DITA using the GUID of the asset, but I am unable to do so. Earlier I was using fmUuid property to know which asset is linked to which DITA, but now it suddenly stopped working and I'm unable to find fmUuid in the properties of assets. I need the asset path in order to make assets available publicly. If we can retrieve images using GUID as well, then I might not need to get the asset's actual path but I didn't find any way to do so. Please help me out with getting the solution to this problem.

Hi We have a usecase where in we will have to convert the file extension from filename.xml/filename.dita (topic file) to filename.custom (custom extension) when we send it to TMS via translation connector. And we wanted to convert it back to filename.xml/filename.dita DITA topic post translation.

Is there any Java API or endpoint to generate smartcrop rendition of a given width and height (this is alraedy defined in the smartcrop presets)? So far, I have tried exploring the com.scene7.isapi package but to no avail. Can anyone guide me in the right direction to acheive this if any?

Hi, Similar to PSD, the TIFF image can also have layers. We want to be able to extract the layers of TIFF files on AEM Assets and access those using Scene7 URLs. We are able to achieve this for the PSD files, but can't find next steps for TIFF files. Has anyone solved this problem in the past? Any pointers would be helpful.  Thank You!

Hello Adobe Community, I just wondered if it is possible to relate assets via the metadata import.We imported all our data via bulk import and i would like to use the relate function to relate all my indesign files to the PDFs that were exported from the file.Basicly all the files have similar names -For example, the InDesign file would be named- "articleID-123456-Flyer-210x297-2022-05-GER.indd" -this would be the source- and the PDF files have the exact same name but with different suffix."articleID-123456-Flyer-210x297-2022-05-GER-Print.pdf" and "articleID-123456-Flyer-210x297-2022-05-GER-web.pdf" related as derived from the InDesign file.Now i would loooooove use the metadata export / import to add this relationship status with all my files in one go.Any other Ideas are super welcome.Question 1: is it possible?Question 2: How 😄Have a nice day dear reader
