Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I have a field that shows the total # of actual days and I want to create a field that will take that # and round it up to the nearest 5 days.     Example 1:  total actual working days = 18; total days = 20 Example 2:  total actual working days = 24; total days = 25   How can I do that?  Here is my file.

Hi all,    I am trying to submit an adaptive form via REST endpoint to a SharePoint list. I have added the SharePoint URL for the "URL for POST request" and when I try submitting my data, I am getting this error. [AF] [AEM-AF-901-004]: Encountered an internal error while submitting the form.   Can anyone tell me what this means and how I can resolve this?

Hello,   I have a form with a dynamic table. You can add or remove rows via buttons. Before sending the form I want to execute a for-loop over the rows to hide these buttons.   The message box shows the right number of rows: xfa.host.messageBox("Number of rows: " + Formular1.receipt.table.dataRow.instanceManager.count);   But unfortunately I don't know the commands for the loop. Hi, I am trying to calculate the difference between two dates in an HTML5 form. The following code in the XDP template/form works in Designer's PDF preview tab but it does not work in Designer's "Preview HTML' tab and when the form is uploaded in AEM and rendered as HTML form. The field appears blank. The calculate event with FormCalc Language is used. Abs(Date2Num(Table1.Row3.DateField2, "YYYY-MM-DD") - Date2Num(Table1.Row2.DateField1, "YYYY-MM-DD")) I also tried the DateDiff function as JavaScript language and the result was also blank. In the AEM Core Form Option component, the authoring dialog has a dropdown for option 'type'.  Out of the box, the available options are 'Checkboxes, Radio buttons, Drop-down, and Multi-select dropdown'.  Is it possible to add a custom option to this list (like a group of buttons)?   It is easy enough to change the authoring dialog to offer the option, but the Sling model implements the following Options interface that defines an enum for possible values:       Is it possible to add a custom enum value (like BUTTON_GROUP) without changing the source code? I tried extending the OptionsImpl class via the delegation pattern, which is the sling model that uses this interface, but I can't override its getType() method that returns the interface's enum Type to return my own enum with the new value

I am current building an application to convert xdp to pdf,  In order to xdp to be rendered correctly, I have a custom lib which contains fragements for xdp config/ref to be used, so ultimately the xdp will become to a webform user then can fill and submit, then pdf getting generated   e.g say i have something like this http://localhost:4061/content/dam/formsanddocuments/myapplications/Customs/1.0/MyForm/MyForm.xdp/jcr:content   Then in my crx/de I have the xdp setting as:   If you look at it's usehref path, it is pointing at  ..\..\..\****** , so it is reading the render fragment from :     which does its job correctly.   BUT, if I place the common lib folder into  something like below,    /content/dam/formsanddocuments/myapplications/MyForm-Common/7.0   and changed the ref to "..\********" :   It stop working (not rendering xdp correctly) As you can see already,  the same Header.xdp , node type becom

Hi ,   We are trying to create a resource type based servlet . The resource type is mentioned on the jcr:content of the page node . When we are trying to access the servlet using postman . we need to insert jcr:content along with the page path and the selector and extension for the servlet . Is there any way in which we can beautify the URL and create a relevant URL which will not have jcr:content.   Thanks,

I've created a formset from combining a few xml forms all with multiple pages. I'd like the page numbers on the forms to be continuos across the formset instead of 1-x in form one and then 1-x in form 2 etc. I'm unable to find any documentation on how to accomplish this. Has anyone been successful?

Hello experts,   One of our client has good storage of promotional materials on Windows drive, and metadata is being maintained via MSSQL DB. Customer wants to utilize AEM Forms Document Service API  (OutputService) to print a PDF. While printing the whole PDF customer would like to assemble and merge few promotional materials from Windows drive. However AEM is hosted on Linux.   We would like to know following: What is the best protocol to read promotional PDF via http (such as WebDAV) Can we mount Windows drive on Linux server as a local drive and read PDF using WebDAV Will we need to download PDF first then we can read in Document Service API or after mounting we can directly read from path via WebDAV protocol   Please note we do not want to use smb/cifs http protocol such as WebDAV could be an option we can to avoid latency of download and then read so mounting the drive and reading via WebDAV looks an option   Please share your best practices, thank yo

How do I install a custom font to include it in AEM forms? The font is call PNC Sans.

I am working on AEM 6.5 and am trying to open a new URL after form/data submission. Currently working on updating some forms to make them more HTML5-friendly. I work in Designer (latest version) and as the title says, I'm now on a form that has a number of dynamic features, specifically a series of table rows and subforms that are suppose to be hidden when the form loads and others that can be added in by the user through various selections. One option is they click a button to reveal some extra fields wrapped in a subform and in another section they enter a number, x, to have x instances of that subform added to the form (using setInstance).   I'm aware you can't initialize a subform to zero in HTML5 as that feature isn't supported so I followed Adobe's workaround here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/forms/html5-forms/faq.html?lang=en   First issue I'm facing is, even though the subforms are hidden, they still appear in the printed version of the form. Hi All,We have observed that our AEM Forms JEE instance is creating a copy of crx-quickstart folder inside WAS directories and growing in size with every patching/deployment.exact directory location : /WAS/was90/profiles/<profile-name>/crx-quickstart/repository This directory only contains datastore. We have tried running Revision cleanup and GC from JMX console but the size of this datastore does not reduce.Also, there is no increase in terms of forms deployed.Can we reduce the size of this directory ? What will be the implications of completely cleaning up?If cleanup not possible what is the recommended way of configuring the directory of datastore from /WAS to somewhere enough disk space is available?Please note, I have verifed the org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.FileDataStore configuration in web-console, this is set to crx-quickstart/repository/datastore but, datastore in not being created inside the usual crx-quickstart rather under /WAS dire

I have a dynamic form created with AEM Designer Forms and when it is filled in some fields display the following character in the right bottom corner of the text field: I noticed it usually appears if the text that is being filled in has an empty space at the end or if the text has been copied from a word file and pasted back here. Is there a way for this character to not be displayed anymore? Thanks!

Good Day, My form has a check-box and a radio button in the Master Page. They are set to global.  In one of the rows of my table, I have floating fields within it. The floating field is set to global as well.  When a box is checked or radio button is chosen, a "specific word" is entered in the floating field. Let's say the word entered is "Dog".   I also have a button that adds a table which also copies some of the entries within it.  This works perfectly.  "Dog" is copied as it should be.    I also have a button to clear entries from a specific table.  Here lies the issue: When I click the button to clear entries from a specific table, it clears the word "Dog" from every table that were created.  I do not want that to happen.  I need for the word "Dog" to stay in all table rows created, including the table that is tied to the " erase specific entries button" when it is clicked.  I tried changing the binding but then the "Dog"

hello experts,   Using following command I am trying to build the AEM Forms On-Prem project:   mvn -B archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.adobe.aem -DarchetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=35 -DaemVersion="6.5.12" -DappTitle="AEMFormsDev" -DappId="AEMFormsDev" -DgroupId="com.AEMFormsDev" -DincludeFormsenrollment="y" -DincludeFormscommunications="y" -DincludeDispatcherConfig="y"   Question is: - if we include -DincludeDispatcherConfig="y" build fails for which there is workaround on Windows machine as per https://github.com/adobe/aem-project-archetype - however question is - why does it also creates : dispatcher.cloud folder structure? ours is On-Prem AEM Forms 6.5 setup with inhouse Apache server so how can we exclude dispatcher.cloud setup.   Please share your feedback and let me know how to exclude dispatcher.cloud? from options.       

I've created project using maven archetype 35 for the AEM-Forms 6.5 On-prem setup.   We want to check-in and sync the codebase with the git repository. I assume we do not need to check in everything.      Do I need to push the entire project codebase to git repo or there is any .gitignore specific for AEM-Forms project specially for Document Services usages?   Please share your practices. thanks.
