Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi, From a few days now, I am trying to understand how honeypot can be implemented on AEM forms. We have a requirement to implement honeypot feature on AEM forms, but I could not find any documentation around this in the experience league. Given the volume of the sites and forms being one of the widely used component on the sites, we do not want to take the re-captcha route rather have something like honeypot implemented to make user experience better. What is the best way to bring up security/spam prevention checks on AEM forms.

Hi, I have installed some AEM bundles and getting below error in my local com.adobe.fd.output.api,version=[5.11,6) -- Cannot be resolved a) uber-jar version is 6.5.0 and my local AEM version is also 6.5.0.b) restarted the servicesc)Uninstalled the AEM forms add on package and installed it Nothing worked. Please Advice. How do i resolve this error? 

Good day,I have a form whereas information needs to be pulled from a report and entered into the form.  The information pulled is in a table format with headers such as "form #, item #, date, description, value".  My form is set up that way as well with buttons to add and delete rows.  The user will need to copy and paste the required information into each row in order for it be uniform.  The problem I'm noticing now is that it's not user friendly when there are a lot of items to enter.  I thought my solution to this problem was to create the "headers"  and below that (1) big space so that they can copy and paste the information, but that doesn't work.  The information copied to the form, from the report, does not remain in a table format and is not uniformed.  The information all jumbled together and the user would have to space the information under the headers just to make it look professional, which defeats the purpose.  I would like to

Looking to apply custom validation via the rule editor that calls a service based on some values. I've been able to configure this via the editor, during form validation I see the call to the service being made but this call has no influence over the validation response. It appears that the validation does not wait for the promise to complete. Is it possible to have the validation rule editor wait for a response from a call and use that to determine if the field is actually valid or not?

Hi, I'm converting form component's classic UI dialog to Touch UI dialog. I see constraint Type dropdown for which options are coming from the following path./bin/wcm/foundation/forms/constraint.jsonCan someone please guide me if there is any direct way to get the JSON list from the above path in Touch UI instead of writing the backend code to fetch the data (like SELECT * FROM [sling:Folder] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE('/') and s.[sling:resourceType] = 'foundation/components/form/constraint').

Hello! My team creates XFA forms in Forms Designer 6.2. When we add a digital certificate to the form [using Acrobt Pro 2017 > Tools Certificates > Certify (Invisible Signature)] and then extend it to have basic usage rights, the digital certificate invalidates or disappears. We have a workaround for this where the form is first opened in LiveCycle ES3 and the target version is saved (through Form Properties) "8.1 or later". For some reason, this allows the certificate to be successfully added and maintain its validity. We will be losing access to LiveCycle ES3 and will not be able to use this workaround. In Designer 6.2, we can only set the target version to "10.0 or later" and the certificate fails. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Alternatively, is there a workaround to save files as 8.1 without using ES3? Thanks so much in advance! 

Hi, all, my current AEM author is on JEE platform, however, now, we want to move our author to OSGI, we are using AEM Forms 6.5.8. Is anyway to just copy some folder and it will be done? We don't have workflow runnng on author. Just long as the bundles and packages can be "magically" copied over and work, then that's it.I did some research, seems it is possible and not problematic. But just don't know how.Please help. 

I require an alternate solution to event.target.app.mailMsg for sending out email messages with variables within the filled out form when the user has Foxit PDF Editor as the default program. While everything else on the form works as expected in Foxit 11, the email buttons do not create email messages on click for XDP forms using Foxit. Does anyone have some insight into this issue? Any alternate method for sending emails which have variables from form data as part of the messsage?

Hello Experts, I am trying to use the LetterRenderService to generate Letters(PDFs) on AEM Forms 6.2 OSGi. I am using the following Maven dependency on my project. <dependency> <groupId>com.adobe.aemfd</groupId> <artifactId>aemfd-client-sdk</artifactId> <version>6.2.0</version> </dependency>The code compiles fine, but when I deploy the package on my local instance, the bundles shows that it is unable to resolve the package com.adobe.icc.ddg.api,version=[3.1,4) -- Cannot be resolvedI checked depfinder and it shows the Maven dependency as below (please also see the screenshot). <dependency><groupId>com.adobe.livecycle.icc</groupId> <artifactId>acm-osgi</artifactId> <version>7.1.10</version> <scope>provided</scope> </dependency> I checked Adobe Public Repo and I can't seem to find this dependency there and so if I add this to my project POM file, it throws error, stating that it is

Hi All, I am new to AEM Forms and checking if we can publish multiple forms at once from Author to the publisher? I did check the options after selecting forms but seems it's not showing any options to publish multiple forms in one go. Thanks.Mukesh

Hi All, We have a setup were we are installing AEM 6.5 JEE forms on WebSphere and the servers are hosted in Unix Platform. This is a standalone setup and every server has its own instance of MSSQL server. However as per the understanding we created couple of users i.e. "DB_OWNER user" and "Forms user" to associate AEM forms users with database. For the users creation we used the authentication mode as "SQL Server Authentication Mode". Using this setup the installation went through and we can see that the tables were also created in the database. However the team asked us to create the same SQL users but use "Windows authentication" instead of "SQL Server authentication" for another server and perform the installation. Can someone please let me know if this is possible with our setup (Application Server: WebSphere and AEM Server hosted on Unix) or we can follow the original steps. Additionally if we go with the new setup with windows authentication do we need to perform a

Hi All! We made the decision to switch off of PDF forms to HTML5 forms as part of an upgrade to our livecycle environment. In the old PDF forms, any fields that could be edited by a user had a nice highlight around them to make it clear that they weren't protected. In HTML5, this is off by default, and the user has to click a button to highlight the fields. I checked out some older questions: Highlight fields automatically in a Form | Adobe Acrobat (acrobatusers.com) but it looks like they take advantage of app.runtimeHighlight, which doesn't appear to be supported in HTML5 forms: Scripting support for HTML5 forms | Adobe Experience Manager I feel like there must be a way to turn this on by default given that there's the toggle there, but I'm just not sure where that is. For instance, a user fills out a form and it is submitted through the site (whether an SPA or a generic site in AEM). An officiant then applies a stamp to the pdf (that is a png image) determining whether the form has been approved or denied. Is this possible in AEM? Could you please provide any examples or resources that would be of help for this project please? Thank you in advance!

Hope there is a way; I need to provide the network path location as a variable for the creation of an email generated within the form. Is there a way to store the network path location when opening the form from a network location? Thank you in advance.

Hi Team, I have simple AEM  form in that  there is file  attachment field.Now the requirement is file name should not contain any special characters if it contains special character i have to show custom error message like "Attached File  name contains special  character" if any one did like this please share the knowledge

I have a requirement to add rich text support for text fields in HTML5 Forms created using AEM Forms Designer. I have tried changing the field format of the text field to `Rich Text`. However, this only allows rich text support for PDF Forms. Is there a way to add rich text support for HTML5 Forms through scripting or a plugin? I was looking into the Rich Text Editor, but I was unsure how to configure it work with my project.
