Adobe Experience Manager Forms

while developing a component I am stuck at making dynamic dropdown based on countryfor example :            I have one "granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/select" from where we can select countries           in the second dropdown I want the states to be showed according to the selected country on first dropdown           e.g. if US is selected in first dropdown , I want the second dropdown to have only US states here is the attached screenshot of the design of component.please guide me how may I proceed to get the approach right 

I want to have a date and time picker in my form, But all i can see that, AEM Forms offers a date picker, from which i can only capture the date given by the form filler . I want to have a field which captures the time as well. Is there any specific way to do so?Would be really great, if i get a way to capture the date and time as well.Thanks.

I have a use case where I need to send 1 or more attachments with an email.  The current email component seems to allow for 1 or more attachments but, not dynamically.  The attachments are in a payload folder and I don't know how many until runtime.  This is an attempt to find the equivalent component to Livecycle's "Send with attachments".   Can I point the attachments to a "payload" folder?   Thank you,

Good day,I am following up on my previous question with the same subject because I'm not sure if my reply to MHWinter is being forwarded.  Please excuse me if I'm doing this all wrong and advise me what I should have done or what I need to do....MHWinter was very helpful with solving my issues with the above subject but I came across another issue.  Hopefully, MHWinter can solve this one or maybe someone else can....Some of my "cards" have an "invisible" drop down field that appears when the user clicks a button because the field is not always a requirement.  The problem is that when they add another "card", the drop down field selection is not copied to the next "card" when they click the "similar" button.  It reverts to it's original presence.  I need for that selection to be copied to the next card.  Can you help me with that?

Hi All, I am trying to install the AEM 6.5 JEE on IBM WebSphere application server for that i have downloaded the "aemforms_server_6_5_0_websphere_all_unix.tar.gz" file extracted the file using 7Zip command and uploaded the "aemforms_server_6_5_0_websphere_all_unix.tar" file in the server. I am logging in as a root user and using the below command to extract the tar files."tar xvf aemforms_server_6_5_0_websphere_all_unix.tar" but after i execute this command the folder are getting created but i don't see the install.bin file created under the directory server/Disk1/InstData/Linux/NoVM. Can someone please let me know if this command is correct or if i am doing something wrong or if i need to follow some other steps.ThanksPranay

Reacting to @radzmar recent comment about scripting a field's visibility instead of setting the visibility in the object properties:I have designed forms that can be either filled in directly in the form or by importing data into the form. The problem I  had with that is that importing data would not trigger the scripts that I initially placed on action events (like click, change, etc....) As a result, I modified these scripts and placed them on calculate events, to determine the visibility of a field based on the value of another one.this had a great advantage of showing the fields in the design view (making them more accessible while designing/scripting the form),... but I realize this is not ideal because it runs the scripts all the time (and there are many of them)... possibly contributing to slowing down the form.More recently, I thought of adding a button that the user would click after importing data to run all the scripts once to run calculations of some fie

I am new to using AEM Forms and somewhat of a learning curve from just regular PDF forms, and I need some assistance with subforms design.I tried using the AEM conversion tool for my forms, but ended up manually recreating most of it, because of the dynamic expansion that we are trying to achieve.I have 13 different groups of questions, which I have made each question its own subform.  My problem is two fold: 1.  On the last page of the form in the original design, I had 2 "overall score" fields, which were placed in the bottom of the page and centered on the same line, and I want to try to keep that same design, but if I don't add those fields into the subform above it, if the fields grow to big, the text doesn't shift the rest of the form down, so I tried putting the "overall scores" fields in its own subform, same result, and the only way i can seem to get it to work is adding those fields into the subform above, and I had added t top margin to space it out from

Dear all,we do have many Adobe Acrobat Pro installations and covered by proper licenses of course.Since a while we are recognizing more and more Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11 ..Import filter installations. We are aware about that these products are part of the application family of "Adobe Experience Manager". But we do have no AEM instlalations nor do I know how the Adobe LiveCycle Designer versions have been installed. In former days LifeCycle Designer has been part of Adobe Acrobat Pro.Does somebody know who to license "Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11 ...import filter" installations?Do we really need AEM licenses or are Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11 installations maybe part of Adobe CC subscriptions?thank you very much. Kind regards,Robert

We are wanting to use SharePoint to store the information gathered by an AEM Form. There seems to have been a connector in AEM 6.4 but I believe this was deprecated in 6.5. It appears that REST may be the way to go but we are not familiar with it and cannot find an example that is simple enough for us to follow. I've also seen CDATA has a JDBC driver and ODBC driver for SharePoint but not sure if these would work either.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

I am having the hardest time trying to get this flowed form to work properly, and what I mean by that is that I have a form with 2 subforms > flowed top to bottom on each page.  the flowing of the subforms work, but none of the form is pushing the content below down further, whether its fields in the 2nd subform or fields outside the subforms, and I have tried a number of things but i am not sure where I am going wrong.  I have tried putting everything in a single subform on each page, but with trying to break up each of the 13 'objectives' that I have, the only way I knew how to do that is with adding top and bottom margins, which didn't work, especially on a page break.  Also, there were a few fields that i wanted to stay at the bottom of one of the pages, but then the fields would just expand over it, so that was not an option.  I tried to make the second subform positioned, which i read to try to do if you have multiple subforms on a single page.  I trie

Good day,  I have a table which have dropdown lists within it. The table also have several buttons.  One of them is a button which adds a new blank table so that the user can choose whatever they like from the dropdown lists.  There are incidents where a choice from one of the drop down lists will be the same for multiple tables.  I do not want the user to have to choose the same choice every time they create a new table.  I would like the user to click another button which would add the additional table, and also keep certain choices selected in the previous table so that they don't have to choose it every time they create a new table.  Is this possible?  Just to elaborate more:  Example:  The table lists automobiles.  Within the table the user will need to enter 30 automobiles made by "Ford" but the automobiles have different models.  When the user chooses "Ford" from the drop down menu of the first table and enter all pertinent

Decrease or Cancellation selection in the dropdown changes amount field text to red.Export dataImport data to a blank form and the red text turns to black.Is there a way to retain the red font when importing?

Hi Experts, Please suggest me how to hide AEM HTML workspace forms to all users except certain user group from the categories section. What I did is,    I have created user group and added under Security -- > Add Principal (selected Invoke_Perm) but still other users are also able to view the forms.
