We are accessing and submitting an Adaptive Form from an SSL URL (https).  When it redirects to the Thank you page, it is using a non-SSL url (http). Is this a configuration issue? Thank you,Charles

Hi everybody! While I'm not new to Adobe itself, I'm new to creating PDF forms. I need to create a fillable PDF form to use as a shot list for filmmakers, that allows you to add a custom number of lines for the shots of each scene. Since this number always varies, the form builder that comes with Adobe Pro is not an option as it only lets me to create a certain number of lines and "hide" the ones I don't need (if I remember correctly) and also won't let me reflow the text. I downloaded Adobe Experience Manager Forms from the Windows App Store and the first hurdle I stumbled over was the login - is this the same as my Adobe account login? It also requires a server URL and I have no idea what they even mean by that. I really just need the form builder and would like to avoid having to buy the whole thing - I hear it's super expensive and basically unaffordable for the lay(wo)man. Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to create a custom rich text box component for an adaptive form. I created an overlay of the guidetextbox from "/libs/fd/af/components/guidetextbox" in my /apps/project folder, however any changes to the rte settings are not reflected in the custom component. For example, removing "format#underline" from the inline toolbar does not reflect in the actual component. The underline button is still present in the rte after making this change. My goal is to remove the Style dropdown options when the rte is in fullscreen. Steps:1. Create the components folder in apps/<projectname>/components2. It would be great if you could help me out with the right formula. Good Morning, Our publisher servers seem to be having a very hard time with the load recently. We were analyzing the thread dumps to see if we could find anything unusual and we saw that we had A LOT of waiting and blocked threads. All the waiting threads give this message:- waiting to lock <0x3b9b994f> (a java.util.concurrent.locks.AbstractQueuedSynchronizer$ConditionObject) owned by "null" tid=0x-1After some research we found that this could be caused by garbage collection taking up resources as it is trying to clear up space.We tried analyzing the heap dumps, but full honesty we did not know exactly what to look for in them.Has anyone seen this before or have any advice on how we can proceed to troubleshoot this issue?Thank you!

Hi Experts, In my AEM 6.5 Forms HTML workspace, in my application multiple approvers are there. First 2 approvers are can able to submit/complete the request. But 3rd time when click on Complete button preSubmit function was working but form is not submitting. Do I need to configure anything in server end to approve more users? Please guide me.

I have a form that checks for duplicate names (these are first and last names within one field) but I would like the script to ignore any spaces at the end or before the text (but not if there is a space between words) no matter how many words are in the field. For example, the current script would not catch Firstname Lastname(space) being the same as Firstname Lastname(no space) hence no duplicates detected. Anyone know how to update this? This did not resolve the issue.1. In the server:port/libs/fd/pdfg/config/ui.html the current configuration setting is as below. This works fine for English fonts in the output PDF form. 2. Is there anything else I can try or verify in the AEM instance?Thanks in advance for the response.Leena 

Dear all,      I'm usinf LiveCycle ES2 and trying to hide all buttons in the PDF forms when a signatures is inputted. To do so, I have to loop through all nodes/fields in the form using the below function, but I could not help finding the method that returns the type pf field/controls so that I only hide buttons not others fields/controls such as textfield, radio, signature etc..Can anyone help me to find the method that return the type of control/field please? Hi, I have an adaptive form with a select dropdown. I have a JS written which selects an option from the dropdown based on query parameter. E.g (?car=audi will select AUDI from dropdown). The JS is working as expected. On page load it selects the correct option. ISSUE : When I try to submit the form I get a validation error saying 'Please select an item from the dropdown'. Somehow the form is not able to fetch the val for the select. I have printed the val in console and it is coming as expected. I have tried by added .change() to trigger a change in JS. But the same issue persists. Can someone please share some insights on what might be going wrong?

Hi community, I have following setup:a repeatable panel with 3 inputsa custom submit action, which calls an OSGI serviceAEM (Forms) with version 5.7.0Actually I access to the submitted data in my service via the "_guideValuesMap"-Parameter, because all data is in JSON format and it is easier for me to handle the data. But the problem is, that only the data of the last repeatable panel is saved into the JSON. Even the sling request has only the data of the last repeatable panel.Only the FormSubmitInfo (data property) has the whole data of all panels. But the XML format isn't easy to handle. If I have to use the FormSubmitInfo, is there a helper class or anything else which I can use to parse the submitted values? Thanks for helping!Kind regards .. Andrea 

Hello, I'm creating a form using AEM Forms (AEM 6.5.5.0 and appropriate forms addon from https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-release-information/aem-release-updates/forms-updates/aem-forms-releases.html?lang=en#aem-64-forms-releases).Everything worked fine - I was able to create a form. The issue is with the Document of Record Preview. Hi, A XDP template is created using Spanish(USA) locale. The special characters used in the text of the form appear correctly both in the form and in the saved PDF, but the text entered in the input field, even thought it appears correctly in the form, it does not save it in the same way in the PDF. Hello, I am building an Adaptive form, and I noticed that I was getting some errors in the log when I render the form in the Workspace UI. I am getting this error on two different tables and two different check boxes. Despite the errors, the fields are displayed properly and the fields with rules and behaviors do what they are supposed to do. I tried deleting the fields and remaking them, but that didn't stop the errors from happening. Two questions -1. I render an xdp form as HTML. When in workspace, is there a way to invoke the complete button from the form? 2. I see a save button in workspace when rendering xdp as html. Is there a way to remove the save button?

I'm so close but maybe my script is way to cumbersome and needs to be written in a different way. We ( @pulkit_jain_ and @mayank_tiwari ) had this form working but the customer wanted another functionality added to my tbleEmployeeInfo table. We added a column with a field named adjustedRate. If this field has a value typed in by the user, I need it to overwrite the script that uses the hourlyRateCap field and apply that same logic to the new adjustedRate instead. If the user takes out/deletes the value I need the hourlyRateCap script to run again. Basically we need to make an adjustedRate be the determining factor as to how the script runs. I have placed the original form in my shared folder so you can see how it worked without the extra column, then I have placed the current form in the folder so you can see what I've tried to do. Hi all,I am trying to give 10 leading and 8 trailing digits in a decimal field. I am using "num{z,zzz,zzz,zz9.99999999}" as Display and Data pattern and have limited the leading and trailing digits to max 10, 8 respectively under the Object palette > Field settings. I am facing the following issues:When trying to enter "1234567890.12345678", the last digit ("8") is automatically getting changed to "2".When trying to edit filled field, the value ".12345678" gets automatically changed to ".12346".    Any help regarding this would be highly appreciable.

We have XDP form (attached sample) which needs a field to have 10 leading and 8 trailing digits. we have added this pattern to all options (Data/Display/Edit/Validation) num{zzzzzzzzz9.zzzzzzz9} and also added leading and trailing digit number to field tab. issue start appearing when we have to put trailing digits more than 5.we put 135,235,234.2509, it shows 135,235,234.25090we put 135,235,234.250885 it shows 135,235,234.25088501we put 1,132,235,234.25024 it shows 1,132,235,234.25024009 It put trailing digits randomly and we cannot have this behavior. Is there a way to fix it or approach differently?
